L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Casey Kiernan kept lazily laying over top of Scarlett, back looking up at the lights and letting out a big sigh as the count came.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

The bell rang. Casey's music started! And the referee reached down, grabbing up a limp, noodle-y arm of Kiernan who seemed nonplussed by a win here! She was tugged so she was at least back to sitting up again. She reached back with her free hand and gave Scarlett a pat on the thigh before standing up. The referee continued to hold her arm up to the cheering crowd who, despite all of Casey's infuriating laziness, they seemed to be a little taken by her.

The worst part of this though was the looming threat of having to wrestle again. A terrible fate for victory. And they cheered for her too! They actually liked her! Another horrible fate! The laziness seeming to come across to them as entertaining and endearing, and that she could actually be entertaining when she tried! Casey Kiernan was in a curse, and she didn't know how to escape. All that she knew was that she won today. And she pouted as a result, letting out a soft whine before heading backstage, shoulders drooped and looking more like someone who actually lost a wrestling match instead.

The count ended before Scarlett could even try anything else after her failed attempt to break the pin. The referee signalled the bell and the ding ding marking the match finishing was like a wake up call for the redhead, who now had to deal with the feeling of defeat overwhelming her. For some instants she remained there, lying on her back while blocking her eyes with her arm. She didn’t want to see Casey’s lukewarm reaction to her win and her apathetic exit, so she would just block everything until the blonde interviewer was gone. When that happened, Scarlett slowly got back on all fours, then on her feet, noticing how strained her body felt. Now that her adrenaline rush was over her body was starting to ache real bad. She craved for a hot shower, some hot cocoa and some cuddling with her wife to try and make this defeat less painful. She realized how some of the people still on the stands reacted to her making her exit with some timid applause, and she returned the gesture with some waves. A silver lining to a tough night for Scarlet, but one she would surely learn from.
