Re: Keeping the edge
Suddenly, Geun found herself cruising through the air, instinctively she would round her back to turn the straight impact into a roll, that would help elevate some of the force while having an added benefit of making space between them. When she got sufficiently far she would stop on her belly, pushing up with her hands and bringing her knees up to her chest before springing back to her feet. Of course, this wasn't ideal, she would much rather keep the hold locked but as it was they were back to square one and that would beat getting locked herself by a mile.

Re: Keeping the edge
As she was forced to abandon the hold, that served as a two-sided hand for Senji. He'd managed to get out but now she was standing again. So was he, as things appeared. Senji hopped twice, before he began to step back towards the opposing edge of the mat while Geun stood up. Not being aggressive, he still did the evasive move quite fast. If he was allotted that much, Senji lowered his center and hunched over his back. He kept his hands high up above his pectorals, the elbows bent about halfway towards himself. His left leg was extended forward, while the right remained in the back position. It was a strong stance meant for offense rather than defense.
Geun faced a decision here, probably. He'd see her offense, most likely, leaving Senji able to respond with a counter. If she did nothing, then he'd continue collecting himself while they were stuck in this impasse. He had to cut off everything regarding striking to obey their stipulations. He regarded himself as not being one to cheat, for better or worse. Those shoulder locks were very difficult to deal with and they hurt like white hot fire on the skin if a Kimura or Americana was cranked. The best defense to those would be to make sure they couldn't be started in the first place, right?
Keeping his distance seemed to be the best course of his action in his mind.

Re: Keeping the edge
Geun realized she had to keep the pressure on if she wanted the fight to stay in her favor and Senji despite taking an offensive stance seemed to be keeping his distance. Given that and his wide stance, she wanted to get him off balance first before computing to the move.
To get that she would move in closer, still staying outside of the range for a lockup, and grab his wrist before pulling, at the same time shifting her hips to add the force from the rotation as she stepped slightly to the side. If that worked she would try to move to Senji's side and swing her leg up and over his shoulder from behind to force him down as she twisted his arm. Then she would place it against her hip, the leg she just swung moving to limit the movement of the arm as she would reach around his opposite shoulder to pull their, aiming to lock in an omoplata.

Re: Keeping the edge
Senji quirked his eyebrow up in contemplation when he saw Geun approaching. In the first of the exchange, her arm snapped out to grasp ahold of either his left or right wrist. The twisting of his arm allotted a hitch in his throat but Senji tried to counteract this after he saw her leg being thrown up. He went to turn in Geun's direction to avoid his arm experiencing an unorthodox position, stumbling at having his sense of balance altered, but still moving to face her and make Geun's leg miss being able to clamp down on his arm.
His free arm went to grab her own wrist and perform an arm drag straight down. Throwing his legs back, Senji then beared down on to Haru in the possible counter of a sprawl. His upper body oppressed Geun while his next actions depended on if Haru grabbed his right or left arm in the Omoplata attempt. If she grabbed his right, then Senji used his left to run across the width of Geun's throat before hooking underneath the armpit of her left arm. Pulling on his right, Senji huffed in a winded fashion as he gave his best effort to free his right arm from her grip if she still maintained it after the sprawl. If that managed to work, he settled into rolling them toward her right as he joined his bicep and fingers together to fully clinch in the RNC-like position of his arms. An Anaconda Choke, complete with a deep squeeze to accompany the two now resting on their backs. Steadily at a hampered pace, Senji finally slithered towards her front by crawling using his legs to tighten the hold more; the method itself was similar to a properly applied Guillotine...

Re: Keeping the edge
The situation was turning quickly and with Senji's hand threading under her armpit, Geun first joined her hands pulling her own arm in an attempt to stop the choke from sinking in as they rolled at the same time as she tried to squeeze her shoulder up to turn the position into more of e seatbelt than a choke. Next, knowing that the main force of the squeeze came from the relative positions of their bodies she would start moving in the same direction as Senji so as to postpone the effects, with one of her arms moving to his hips to further stall and hopefully allow her to move further while her other hand was digging at his locked hands, hoping to discontent them there or at least loosen the grip. Then with all of that in place, she would swing her leg violently to advance her position, if all went according to plan it would stop the strangle and allow her to break out of the hold which she would follow by turning and trying to crumble into a mount on Senji's chest while facing towards his legs.

Re: Keeping the edge
Senji's procurement of an advance stopped short, just as he'd managed to turn the tables. He wasn't invincible to 'going for the hands', as it was to be plainly stated. As a result, Senji couldn't fully enclose the hold since there was a grating interference between the interlocked gears, so to speak. A weight pressed down on him as his hands slipped separately away from each other, Senji ending up on his back. That was half of what he wanted. Unfortunately, Geun was curled into a close mount on his front. Or rather, one could refer to it as being inverted since she was facing towards his legs.
This was a little surprising. While he maintained a ready position, Senji was moving through several mental chains to decide his follow up which created a delay ranging from as soon as she escaped to the current time. Aside from more popular setups, Senji hadn't the experience to read more than two or three, perhaps four, moves ahead given the variety of fighters in AFW. These hypothetical attempts to gain the advantage were as follows:
Hip Bump ~> Full Mount ~> Choke ~> ???
Do Nothing ~> Take the Gamble and Counter?
Use the Hands to shift her off ~> Arms don't stretch overly far, it will probably fail
Experimentally, Senji thrust his hips up violently, aiming to give a repeated but restrained writhing, beneath the woman to see where that'd take him. He couldn't afford to rest, much as he wanted to at the current moment. They weren't in a deadlock and Geun was always hunting for a twist or squeeze to some capacity. As a final action, if Geun was able to keep herself centered starting from the second thrust, his hands would come to her hips in an effort to manually shift her off to the left while she was backwards and he was bumping his hips up.

Re: Keeping the edge
Geun felt the bumps Senji gave to which she moved to his body where they would have less effect. There she would shift and grab Senji's wrist, pulling up to snake her leg underneath while pushing off with her other side to quickly lick in a triangle around his bicep, with the supporting leg dining behind his back. Then she would pull on his wrist and push her hips up in this modified armbar. With the triangle locked as opposed to having her legs across she would be able to maintain pressure on the elbow regardless of their body's relative positions.

Re: Keeping the edge
Even as he repeatedly drove his core up and down in a manner to get her off, Senji hadn't succeeded in removing her from being on top. However, some silver lining with this was that Senji was able to actually see what Geun was doing to keep herself stable. As she shifted towards his side, Senji literally rolled with the motion to shift his body while raising his chest up and moving his legs to stay in a kneeled position. He was trying to maintain the momentum so that his movements combined with Geun's would allow him to end up with her gripping his arm but with her lower half suspended off the ground despite the very strange application of the triangle position. Turning his gaze to watch the Armbar finish, Senji tried to twist his trapped arm towards his left so his thumb wouldn't be pointing up. Therefore, Senji's elbow joint wouldn't be experiencing so much pressure from her hips.
His free hand went to reach around Haru's legs to try to grasp that hand and wrench his arm back towards his chest. Perhaps he could make her give up on the Armbar this way, if he was not able to fully extract his arm from her hands.

Re: Keeping the edge
Normally being lifted like that in the armbar would be a cue to abort the attempt and try something else, luckily here she could still continue. First, she would adres the hand rotation by gripping the wrist tighter to maintain control and moving one of her hands to his palm to prevent the twist and push the hand back into an ideal position. At the same time, she would tense the tigh of her supporting leg and bend it more to better wrap her other leg and maintain the hold.

Re: Keeping the edge
A twist of his arm came from Geun, leaving his free arm to ghost past his trapped wrist in her hands. So, he painfully understood that Geun wanted to keep this hold maintained. As her hips thrusted upward, Senji's gaze flicked to Huan before he stared at Geun's legs as his palm hovered over her nearest thigh. It was a Triangle. So, maybe a Triangle Choke escape would help him here? It was his best choice given his limited options. He was also reminded that he should ask either woman for help with his Triangle Choke escapes overall. But now he needed to focus on besting Geun and giving her his all. Senji already knew that he was on his knees. Therefore, one part was already completed. Senji retracted his un-armbared arm and kept it parallel with his neck. Then, he went to shift his neck underneath, this requiring him to fold his body more in half, and go to squeeze both his head and arm inside the gap between her legs.
The concept was similar to stopping a leg choke by positioning both arms so that overfilled the space and broke the choke. At best, this forceful push would result in Geun's lower body slowly meeting the mat again, her hips near his knees while Senji compressed his way inside her domain and nullify the straightened out arm of this submission. As a consequence, Senji and Geun would be facing eye-to-eye with the woman still having a grip on his arm while his free arm finally tried to slither around the nape of Geun's neck to bring the two grapplers closer in terms of space between their bodies. As iterated, whether the Triangle-shape of her legs broke or not would also decide if her guard would need to be reapplied!
