Fighting the Good Fight [Cheryl Williams Vs Drifter]

Thanks to Cheryl's quick thinking, the moment Kay had leaned down to try and lock a deadly figure four headscissor variation upon her, was the moment her leg would swing up and catch Kay upon the head. The crowd gasped out loud, as the kick was stiff and caught all of Kay given her position. The impact was heard throughout the arena.

Kay gasped out, being caught hard by the strike as her head near went in on itself. This time her inexperience could not be blamed, as Cheryl simply managed to land a great strike at the perfect time. As a result, Drifter's scissor hold loosened significantly, as Kay fell to land upon her back against the canvas. Both her hands came up to grasp the top of her head, as the lightweight winced in clear pain from the shock of the impact. Her senses had been knocked for six for only a moment, but those precious seconds were more than enough for Cheryl to make her potential escape!

That thud told her all she needed to know and Kay falling back was just the confirmation to what it told her. Her well placed boot had caught Kay before she did anything that would make things worse, and Cheryl was all too eager to capitalize on it by twisting and escaping the fighter's legs where she could fight back. Grabbing one of those legs she would pull her closer and then try to stomp down on Kay's head.

"Well this is going to hurt." Cheryl said while trying to bring her knee down on Kay's skull and bending the leg while keeping her knee there stretching Kay out as much as possible.

Kay gasped out when Cheryl was able to grasp one of her legs after escaping from the prison that was her headscissor hold. She was about to kick with her free leg, looking to drive Cheryl away from her, but her opponent beat her to the punch... or kick as it where in this case. Drifter grunted as a hard boot came down against her head, making the entire audience gasp from the hard stomp that hit her in the skull. Drifter favoured her head as it rebounded off the canvas below, being stunned for a moment.

It seemed Cheryl was not wrong... what came next certainly did hurt!

Cheryl did not stop there, bringing her knee down to press against her head soon afterwards, before bending her leg in a unique submission hold! Kay screamed out, feeling her spine becoming stretched. Though deceptively flexible, Kay was still in a terrible position as her body was contorted and stretched. What was worse was the horrid pressure against her skull as Cheryl leaned down against her. In desperation, Kay tried to squirm and writhe below her, looking to see if the ropes were nearby for a potential escape against the agonising hold!

Cheryl was going to bend her rival as far as possible, Kay was screaming out while her arm reached out for some kind of escape but Cheryl knew what to do at this point. The hold was doing its job so Cheryl would would soon let up on the hold shortly before she could reach the ropes instead looking to start pulling her back down. She wasn't about to let her rest until she was ready to put her down, but given Kay's will so far she knew that might be awhile.

"I doubt one move will take you down, but im positive several will eventually start to." Cheryl said turning around and then doing a big backflip, intending to bring her feet down on Kay and crush her with a big stomp. The move had a bit of risk given the way she was planning to come down on her opponent but the chance to just knock the wind out of Kay was too good to pass up.

There was little respite when Cheryl released her hold upon her. Kay knew she had to move, but the pain was still fresh and distracting her body from moving, and Cheryl moved too quickly, putting her plans into motion to start taking Drifter apart! Once more she aimed for her back, managing to land a brutal stomp after a deft backflip, making the crowd gasp out loud as Kay was hit with another devastating attack! Kay was left shouting out in agony, her body curving into a C like shape as her head whipped back and her heels arched.

She collapsed against the ring mat soon after, breathing heavily... once more caught with a big move and left stunned! Cheryl's hard work and big attacks were starting to pay off... and Drifter knew she had to get herself back in the game quickly, or she would be subjected to more gruelling attacks and torture! It seemed Cheryl was not holding back!

Cheryl had been making moves to seal the victory given that Kay was proven too tough to put down otherwise and she felt that she had finally reached a moment she could take. Not wanting to waste any time Cheryl would move down on her opponent. After such a crushing blow that had to do the trick right? The ref moved in either way getting herself into position to count the pin and potentially give her the win.

"ONE!"

Cheryl held on tight to the leg she pulled up while laying on Kay's chest and pressing down as if that would make a difference. She didn't care, she just wanted to make sure that the girl couldnt kick out. And she was confident that this move had knocked the wind out of her.

Kay grunted as Cheryl wasted no time going for the cover after landing such a brutal attack. Given the reactions from what watching crowds, it felt very much possible that it could end here and now given how hard Cheryl had plunged down upon the lightweight after a toss and a stomp. It was a wonder that the Drifter had not been broken by such an attack. With one leg hooked, Kay still looked out of it as the ref continued to make the count out attempt.

"TWO!!"

The crowd realised this could all be over. The referee raised her arm upwards, before bringing it down to try and get that final count. Before her hand could make contact with the canvas however, Drifter violently managed to raise one of her shoulders, bringing herself from that daze just in the nick of time. She gasped out, her chest rising and falling deeply with each strained breath, but her arm remained upwards, getting a loud pop from the watching crowd whilst the referee confirmed with a gesture that only a two count had landed.

There was still work to do, as Drifter was still in pain. favouring her back and her bare midriff... but she was still very much in the match for the time being.

Cheryl set herself up as well as anyone could expect having hit so many moves and seemingly beaten the Drifter completely. The leg was hooked her position on top was secure and Cheryl looked up at the headlights thinking Drifter might have finally reached her limit. She ended up being disappointed when Drifter threw her off with a show of force right before the three count causing Cheryl to wail in disappointment. She didn't know what she was doing wrong, it seemed in singles matches she could hit everything but never had the power to take someone out, it was never this hard all the time right?

"Guess I have to throw everything out then." Cheryl said grabbing Drifter's head and slowly trying to bring her back up to her feet. Getting behind Kay Cheryl would pull her head back and set her up for her Bombshell Blitz finisher aiming to crush her with one last move and hope it was enough to finally keep the tough fighter down.

The crowd began to chant for both wrestlers, with both Cheryl and Drifter putting on one hell of a match today! It looked like it was just about over however, as despite Drifter kicking out before the three count, Cheryl still had all the momentum in her favour, and wasted no time hoisting the battered Drifter to her feet, securing her neck from behind in a dragon sleeper position! The crowd began to go wild, knowing what was coming up next, as Cheryl set up the bluenette for her Bombshell Blitz, no doubt intent to put an end to the struggle!

That was until Drifter began to fight! She began to writhe and twist within Cheryl's grip when she was about to throw down her finishing move, before flexibly... Drifter was able to raise one of her legs, going for a big kick to catch Cheryl upside the head. The impact was enough for Drifter to pull free of Cheryl's grasp, as the crowd gasped out in surprise and alarm that Drifter still had such fight within her. Her body glistened with sweat, and her hair was an unkempt mess, but Drifter managed to wrestle away from Cheryl, standing to her feet before twisting around.

As the lightweight bluenette twisted, she threw a massive haymaker towards Cheryl, roaring out with a battle cry of determination. The crowd all gasped out loud in unison over what happened next. Drifter closed fist hit Cheryl in her bare stomach dead on. The impact was heard throughout the entire arena! Kay's enclosed fist buried deep into Cheryl's bare abs, getting all of her stomach and forcing into her belly even deeper with a devastating blow. Despite all the pains and ailment within her body from Cheryl's assault, Drifter knew she could not let it get the better of her... not now...

Hoping her massive strike had stunned Cheryl, this time it was Drifter who looked to finish things! She rushed towards the ropes, swinging herself deftly over the top rope to get to the other side by one of the corners... before she leapt upwards, stylishly and impressively using the ropes to springboard herself back over the ropes... sailing through the air as she looked to land her finishing punch against Cheryl where she stood... looking to hit the Wayfarer!

Cheryl pulled her up bringing her in and forcing her backwards setting her up to be taken down with her finisher. But when she was bringing her down and dropping her down with a sudden drop but Kay pulled her down lifting her knee up and slamming her knee into her head to stop her from breaking free. "Nggh." Cheryl screamed the knee catching her above her nose and the pain sending her back stumbling and leaving the now free Kay to her own devices. Soon Kay showed what she had in mind turning with all her might and throwing a punch to Cheryls abs.

"Uuaaggh!" Cheryl gasped feeling the fist sink into her belly in its vulnerable state. The cheerleader gasping from the punch as it buried its way into her body and leaving little room for air before she took a knee hands wrapped around her stomach. Drifter loomed over her and Cheryl would try to stand up, looking at the sight of Drifter coming back at her and soaring through the air as Cheryl came back up, but soon was cut down by one more big flying punch to her face. "Gguungh!" Cheryl groaned, her body dropped but the cheerleader was left dropped by the fighter her head ringing too much for her to focus or for her to even move much.
