Lillian Byrne(c) vs Jessica Wright - Last Woman Standing Match

Lillian had seemed to have this match so firmly in her grasp only moments ago, but she would find herself on the opposite end now, as Jessica had flung her nearly across the ring, before rushing over and dropping an elbow directly in the center of Lillian's chest! The middleweight champion let out a hiss as the air was beaten out of her lungs, her arms crossing over her chest to try and ease the pain, but Jessica had momentum now, and the challenger was quick to seize those arms, using them to pull Lillian up and further over, as she launched the brunette with a monkey flip!

"Woah! Uugh!" Lillian let out a surprised cry as she was flung overhead, before coming down hard on the mat once more, flung back and forth across the ring by Jessica, who seemed to be getting one hell of a second wind!

Jessica felt like a tornado ripping across the endless Iowa plain. The whole world would be quiet for a long time, then the great storm would darken the skies and all hell would pour forward. So too was Jessica tearing across the ring now, not even taking a second to stop after she had successfully pulled off the monkey flip. Jessica was impressed with how far she had thrown the champion, and it turned out the crowd was fairly impressed as well given how they were applauding loudly for Jessica.

She intended to give them even more to cheer for as she loomed over her opponent, taking a second to think of a plan of action before she bent down to pluck Lillian from the ground. From there, she would attempt to turn Lillian around, and hook both of Lillian's arms behind her back. At that point, she would grab hold of Lillian's costume and throw the champion over and back for a Tiger suplex!

Lillian had been surprised that Jessica had gotten as much of a second wind as she did, and it came back to bite the brunette when she found herself taken by surprise, becoming victim to a monkey flip that sent her flying across the ring before crashing into the mat! And as the fans cheered for Jessica, she was quick to move over to Lillian once more, tugging the champion back to her feet and getting behind her, hooking Lillian's arms behind her back and getting a good grip on the now stunned champ, before suddenly flinging Lillian up and over the top of herself, slamming the brunette down with a big tiger suplex!

"Aaaugh!" Lillian let out a grunt as she slammed into the canvas, all the impact being taken directly on her shoulders and upper back, folding her up and leaving her laying in a heap on the mat! She would flop to her side once released, looking dazed as her chest rose and fell gently, the champion in a position quite dangerous in this match!

Jessica was a woman on a mission. The intensity of her feeling showed on her face, as her purple eyes were narrowed in on the champion. The whirl of motion ascended from the mat before quickly turned and wheeling around and looming over her opponent as she weighed her next move. Jessica grabbed her opponent by her hair and hauled her to her feet.

Her right arm shot back and then flung itself forward like a homing missile with its targeting reticle on Lillian's neck. The muscles in her arm flared as she set all of them alight as she attempted to lift her opponent off the ground. Jessica was showing off a tremendous amount of power as she went for a chokeslam that threatened to shake the ring with its impact. Jessica wondered if she might cause an earthquake.

There was a certain sluggishness to Lillian's movements as she attempted to gather herself, and it was clear to anyone watching that the brunette was being pushed to a place where she was rarely pushed to, with only a few other women able to take her there! Jessica quickly snatched a handful of Lillian's hair and pulled her up to her feet before her hand latched on to Lillian's neck with quite the fair amount of force, her challenger going for broke as she pressed her advantage, lifting Lillian into the air and throwing her to the ground with incredible force, bouncing the champion off the mat with a brutal chokeslam!

"AUGH!" Lillian howled as she slammed down, the entire canvas shaking as she hit with incredible force, before she would eventually come to a rest, gasping for air as she arched her back! The champion was in a bad position, and it looked as though that last blow had come close to completely knocking her out, leaving her on the mat, showing no signs of movement as the ref began to count!

"ONE! TWO!"

Jessica watched as Lillian crashed down to the mat. She staggered backwards, nearly falling over from the force of her own slam. The powerful move had hurt Lillian badly, as Jessica knew from experience, but her purple eyes were wild with energy as she scanned the champion for any sign of life. She stood upright, as she watched the woman below her lie still on the mat. Time seemed to slow as the ref girl slid down and slapped the mat.

THREE! FOUR!

It was a dream. It had to be. Jessica was standing there over the champion of her weight division. That meant that it was only a matter of time until she claimed what she thought that she was owed. Jessica stepped forward, wanting to get a closer look at her opponent. She put her hand on her hip as she watched Lillian lie on the mat.

"FIVE! SIX!"

Lillian had no idea how things had turned this poorly, but there was something about her current position that infuriated the brunette wrestler more than anything else she had ever encountered in this ring, and it was no small surprise Jessica had brought it out! Her body ached, she was more tired than she had ever been before, beaten down and wishing she could simply lie back down, but the sight of Jessica standing above her, poised for victory, caused Lillian's blood to boil.

And that anger that she felt was powerful enough to push her weary frame forwards, Lillian rolling over with a wheeze, beginning to push herself back up to her feet! The count continued, but it was becoming clear as Lillian grit her teeth and balled her hands into fists, slowly rising back up, showing that despite all she had endured, she wasn't quite done yet, even if she would just barely be beating the count!

Jessica was looking down at Lillian now. At the moment, there was only one thing in the whole world that she wanted, for Lillian to remain down for the count. But the second that Lillian looked up at her with such intense hatred, she knew that her goal for the future was not going to pass. Jessica gasped and took a step back, not sure how her opponent was putting forward such an awesome effort. Lilliana's hands found the mat and soon the brunette was on her feet. The crowd cheered.

The match was back on. Jessica consoled herself in the fact that had that been a non-special bout, she would have won. The countenance darkened. And she would have lost earlier. The Violent Violet swore to herself that she had come too close to the finish line to stop trying now, so she steeled herself for combat once more.

"You're gonna stay down next time!" Jessica's threat was accompanied by her enacting that promise then and there, as a powerful straight right punch barreled towards Lillian's head!

Pushing herself up to her feet, Lillian gave a ragged breath, groaning and straightening up despite how much it hurt her, forcing herself to stare Jessica straight in the eye to send a clear message to her challenger, that she wasn't ready to let go of her belt yet! And as Jessica barreled towards her, intending to rock the champion with a punch right to her jaw, Lillian would look to show her foe that she wasn't just getting up to get knocked down again, suddenly ducking low and flinging herself forwards Jessica!

"I'm not going down again!" Lillian hissed as she dove forwards, aiming to drive her shoulder into Jessica's taut abdomen with all the force that her weary body could manage! Any semblance of a plan had gone completely out of the window at this point, and Lillian was doing her best to keep herself from suffering a defeat here, rolling off of Jessica and stumbling away from the purple haired woman!

Jessica thought that she would make good on her threat. After all, she had just had Lillian on the ropes. So as she charged forward, it was with the expectation of victory in her heart, an expectation that blinded her to Lillian's surprises. The look of concentration and triumph on her face faded in one instant to one of pure shock as the champion deftly avoided Jessica's blow. Her fist sliced through the air, and before Jessica could draw it back, calamity struck.

Lillian's shoulder was a battering ram that slammed into her stomach. She noticed the wind being ripped from her before she noticed that she hit the canvas behind her, but she could not count either one of those as particularly good news. The Violent Violet moved to get to her feet, but given how much pain was coursing through her from the sudden counter and how much fatigue she was feeling, that rise to get her boots on the canvas came very slowly.
