Even after putting Alaina down with the knee strike Zira knew it wouldn't be enough to end this match. But she did think it would allow her a chance to catch her breath while also offering the crowd a little breather, as well as serving as a gauge of how much more Zira would need to do to Alaina to win. So as the fifth count came yet didn't go no further she knew what she'd need to do and smirked viciously knowing she now had the chance to do it. "On the contrary I'm glad it'll require more!" Zira yelled as she broke into a run just as Alaina finally got up, and took to the air as she neared her opponent, raising her leg up as she did so to try and bash the woman with a massive running pump kick!

Alaina knew something was coming and as Zira got close she knew she had to be somewhere else. Alaina rolled hard to her left and let Zira swing, her kick hitting nothing but air as she managed to dodge it just in time! Alaina would push herself up to her feet and shake her head trying to recover while surging towards Zira as quickly as she could. She wanted to meet Zira with a big lariat as soon as she turned around hoping to get herself back in the fight against a challenger who was running the show thus far, posing quite the threat to the champion!

Zira was intent on keeping up with the heavy impact offense on Alaina, determined to use it to keep the champ down and unable to respond to her efforts. A strategy that was working reasonably well but as Zira went for a massive pump kick the champ would avoid the move causing Zira to land in a stumble.

"Tsk, dammit." Zira said to herself, turning around just in time to be met with a lariat from her opponent! "Ugh!" Zira cried out in pain, getting slammed in the chest and knocked down to the mat with a groan of pain!

The amazon sent Zira crashing down and despite the pain she was in she felt a surge of adrenaline from having successfully hammering Zira. She had to keep this going! Alaina pulled Zira up by the hair and landed a couple hard punches to her abdomen before slamming her knee into Zira's face a few times! She was trying to pummel Zira down, keeping her in a daze to set up a little something for her... that being lifting Zira up across her shoulders and smashing her right back to the ground with a samoan drop!

Knocked down by a monster of a lariat by Alaina the challenger would soon find herself lifted up to her feet by the older woman where she'd punched in the stomach and kneed in the face a few times, grunting out in pain with each blow before Alaina then tried to lift her up onto her shoulders! Clicking her teeth at this Zira would start to fight back, pulling her knee in to bash Alaina in the face a few times to try and make her let go and drop Zira safely down to the mat!

As much as Alaina wanted to power through and plant Zira it just wasn't happening. Those knee strikes smashed her head and she wobbled, dropping Zira while trying to regain her bearings. The amazon shook her head and did her best to orient herself but she knew she was wide open for attacks which was not at all a good spot at this point especially given her tough start to the match.

Successful with driving knee strikes into Alaina's head Zira would get herself lowered back down to the mat and stumble away with a sigh before focusing back on Alaina. Lining herself up with the front of the heavyweight champion Zira would dart forward, running towards the older woman and lifting her arm up to slam her body and arm into Alain's chest to try and knock her back from the impact!

No sooner had Alaina stood up than she was smashed by a clothesline sent crashing down to the mat on her back again! "Ugh!" Alaina groaned as the amazon crashed down onto her back. She shook her head and rubbed her chest, kicking the mat a couple times as she meekly tried to sit up again. She knew she couldn't stay down but nothing she did seemed to be working the way Zira's offense was able to string together to take her down. She had to do something fast otherwise she was in deep trouble...

Zira puffed out a breath of air from her lips after managing to knock the woman down to the mat. Walking around the now sitting up Heavyweight champion Zira would then bend down, grabbing Alaina by the hair before pulling her up to her feet. If done successfully Zira bend slightly before pulling Alaina down over her shoulder before grabbing her opponent's thighs and chin before standing up to lock the woman into a torture rack submission!

Alaina grunted as she was pulled up and grabbed by Zira. She knew she was in trouble if Zira managed to get hold of her so when she went up Alaina squirmed and clamped her legs around Zira's head and leaned forward trying to use the grip of her legs around Zira's head to send her crashing to the mat with a headscissor takeover! It wasn't devastating but Alaina really needed to escape and halt the onslaught. The champion was trying to make a stand and go back to taking the fight to Zira otherwise she was going to be in trouble!
