Legacies Clash: Blanco Sombra vs. Danny Haines

“Nngh,” Blanco grunted as he was hefted up and draped over Danny’s shoulder. He hung there, legs dangling, as the bigger man got on the move. Danny was plastering poor Blanco all over the ring, and there was only so much the luchador could take. He groaned, feeling Danny rush the corner, knowing that something big was coming … but hopefully the big man had just given him an opening.

Blanco braced both hands against Danny’s broad chest, and as the big guy rushed the corner, Blanco took his opportunity to slip off of Danny’s shoulders, falling forward and kicking out his feet … only to clamp them back together again around Danny’s thick neck! With his momentum, Blanco would try to swing down and out, twisting in the air, using a headscissor to send Danny crashing into the corner turnbuckle, hopefully face-first, a desperate counter but one that Blanco knew he desperately needed, right now!

Dan thought he had Blanco but as he began to execute his offense he found out he was horribly mistaken! Blanco managed to counter and using his agility Dan was now being sent towards the corner! His face smashed off the turnbuckle sending Danny down to the mat in a heap with his hands covering his throbbing face! He was really hammered by the counter and in a total daze. His vision was fuzzy and he saw double as he could barely hear Alaina pounding on the mat to get him to snap out of it. Things were not looking good for the man who was in total control on the verge of victory mere seconds ago!

Blanco rolled out of the takedown up onto shaky legs. Trying to rebalance himself, the luchador could hear Holly squealing with glee, the roar of the fans at a sudden reversal, and Alaina pounding on the canvas. He looked up, brushing sweaty hair out of his eyes to see Danny hung up in the corner, looking stunned. Through sheer force of will, Blanco threw his tired body forward to seize this opening.

Rushing in, Blanco jumped and gripped the top rope. He swung his leg as hard as he could, aiming an enzuigiri kick right at the back of Danny’s head! Blanco would then tuck himself up tight against Danny in the corner, shoving him into the turnbuckle roughly before pulling him up to the second rope. With that leverage advantage, Blanco would pull back and spin on his feet, aiming to plant the big man with a blue thunder bomb off the middle rope! If it landed, Blanco would scramble to hook Danny’s leg, going for a surprise pinfall off the big move

Dan was already in a daze when the enziguri smashed his skull. Dannys head bobbed and his body seemed to go totally limp as he was lift up and maneuvered about by Blanco. Danny had no clue what was going on before feeling his body fly before crashing to the mat! He let out a long moan of pain and was otherwise motionless as he was pinned by the smaller luchador!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THR-"

Danny thrust a shoulder up with as much force as he could, feeling a bit embarrassed that he had hammered Blanco and then a quick burst had nearly had him beat.

Alaina was pounding the apron and screaming to her nephew looking worried. "Come on! Get up! Get up and take it to him you had him don't let him just keep you down so easily! I know you are better than that and show off some toughness and grit!" Alaina shouted.

Blanco rolled off Danny as he kicked out, coming up onto his knees with a look of wide-eyed surprise on his face. He shook his head, as the ref insisted on the two count. There was no point arguing about it, and Blanco couldn’t count the number of wrestlers who had met their ends in matches trying to argue with the ref. He was tired, his entire body was hurting, but the bout wasn’t over. He had to keep moving, and hope for the best.

“Come on, ref!” Holly cried out from ringside, slapping the apron so hard her entire figure was jiggling. “Can you not count three! What was that!?” Apparently, the British Bombshell hadn’t gotten the memo. “Take out that cranky hags spoiled little nephew so I can get you home for a victory shag, mister!”

Blanco nodded, feeling suitably motivated by that. Blanco moved in, gripping and twisting Danny’s arm for a wrist lock as the young man tried to get up. He then fired off a quick thrust kick to the grappled man, looking to stun him with a sharp shot to the face. From there, Blanco would look to whip Danny to the corner, wanting to set the bigger man up for bigger things!

"Oh shut up thunder thighs or I will walk over there and slam some sense into you through all that soft mass!" Alaina shouted pointing angrily at Holly and slowly making her way towards the corner of her side of the ring.

Danny was rising and while the hold didn't hurt the kick landed right on his jaw snapping his had back! He bit his lip a bit and there was a tiny bit of red on him but the daze he was in ended up being worse as he was whipped hard to the corner, slumping against the turnbuckle as he was still dazed from the hard kick to the face!

Blanco took a deep breath after whipping Danny to the corner. The luchador was hurting, knowing full well that the bigger, buffer Danny had nearly put him away a couple of times, now. The last thing he wanted to do was give the big guy a chance to regroup! With a deep breath, Blanco charged the corner, jumping up to swing his leg high, snapping a shin-kick right to Danny’s jaw to try and stun him, and keep him in place. From there, Blanco would mount the corner, trying to pull Danny up onto the top turnbuckle, grunting and struggling as he lifted the big man up to sit on the corner …

“Rrrgh,” Holly growled at Alaina’s threats, trying to shake them off and return her attention to her man in the ring. Holly took deep breaths to try and calm herself down, hands on her hips, pacing a little. Looking up to the corner stopped her cold, eyes widening as action picked up in the corner!

Once Blanco had Danny in position, he would soften him up with a hard elbow strike to the head … then, Blanco would leap up onto Danny’s broad shoulders, wrapping his thighs tight around Danny’s head, then swinging backward! The luchador would try to bring Danny down in the roughest way, wanting to slam him down to the mat with a ring-rocking hurricanrana!

Danny grunted as he hit the corner and right when he was trying to push himself out hoping to nail Blanco with something big the kick hit. Oh did it hit! Danny's jaw was crushed and his lips driven into his teeth! His jaw hung and throbbed already a bump forming at the corner. He groaned and slumped limply in the corner his jaw slack and feeling possibly broken while blood trickled down from where his lips were driven up as he bit them. His head bobbed as he was in a daze completely out of it. He was dead weight as Blanco moved him into position and sent him crashing down to the mat Danny looking lifeless on the mat!

"Come on Danny COME ON!" Alaina screamed as she slapped the apron frantically. She saw blood on her nephews face and right away saw that his jaw was fractured at least. She knew it was part of the game but couldn't help but glare up at Blanco baring her teeth for just a second before returning her focus to her nephew. "Come on Danny you are tougher than this! Get up! GET UP!"

Blanco rolled out of the ‘rana to come up on one knee. The luchador took a moment to steady himself, the cheers of the fans roaring in his ears. He looked around his shoulder, seeing Danny splayed out where he had flung the young man from up on high … and was startled to see blood! Blanco’s eyes shot wide open in surprise, not having realized that his kick had been quite so effective. Now, the big man was spread eagle on his back, down and obviously hurting, and there was only one thing that Blanco could do, in good conscience … go for the pin!

“Come on Mister!!” Holly shouted, chest heaving as she jumped up and down in excitement! “You’ve got him, he’s finished! Go for it!!” The British Bombshell pointed frantically at Danny’s body as he lay there, seeming to forget about her rivalry with Alaina just for a moment as her man seemed to be on the edge of victory. Blanco threw himself over Danny, hooking one of his strong legs and pulling it high into the air as he braced his shoulders across Danny’s broad chest. Bridging against the mat, Blanco leveraged his body hard into Danny’s and pinning him to the mat. The ref slid in.

“ONE!!”

Danny was half out his body weakly bucking and thrusting up but it was far too little and far too late.

"TWO!"

"GET UP! GET UP! COME ON!" Alaina screamed pounding mightily on the apron as she tried to rally life into her downed, and defeated nephew.

"THREE!"

The bell rang and Danny could barely muster up a moan as her rolled to his side, her arms covering his throbbing face. Alaina slid in shaking her head and while she was going to give him an ear full about essentially blowing a match he should have won right now she made her way over to kneel next to him putting an arm around him. "You tried, you were doing great and then he caught you. It's okay. It will be all right you will just have to work harder to bounce back." Alaina said into his ear.
