L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Hikaru was holding Gambit down as tightly as she could hoping that this was it.... a fast win would doer confidence wonders at this juncture of her struggling LAW career......

"THREE!"

There it was, Hikaru heard the bell ring and for the first time in a while it was she who stood tall with her arms raised in victory! Hikaru was all smiles although her body language told a different story as she was in a lot of pain thanks to the offense Gambit had worked in on her. Hikaru walked around the ring taking in the cheers and the fact that she did actually win! She felt great, her work actually paying off instead of simply not being enough. This was a good feeling indeed.

*Having sustained a gratuitous amount of damage throughout the course of the grueling fight, Gambit heard the painful sound of the bell ringing away any chance she had of redeeming herself. With a forlorn* "Ggnhh..." *She stood to her unsteady feet, slowly coming to terms with her defeat.*

"Hey.." *The Riverboat Rabbit waved, attempting to grab Hikaru's attention.* "Nice fight. I almost had you for a moment, so don't going thinking you're that much better than me!" *She declared, feeling a faint smirk stretch across her face.*

Hikaru smiled and nodded to Gambit. "It was quite a fight wasn't it? I will be around so if you ever want a rematch then I will be happy to face you again!" Hikaru said as she leaned against the ropes, very worn out from their fast but painful battle. Hikaru was surely in for a tough time if Gambit ever did take her up on the rematch, although Hikaru was going to do her best to be ready for whoever she faced next in the ring regardless of who it was!
