When Viviana had called her silly for her suggested, Toshiko felt a lump in her throat, even with the good-natured nudge from her. It was embarrassment from the Japanese girl, but she was able to hide it well as she bowed her head to shade her nervous expression. Fortunately, her friend's pondering managed to give her the time to collect herself again to speak.

Did she drink alcohol? "Yes, of course," stated Toshiko. Socially? No. Copiously in other cases? Also no. Only in a more traditional setting and get-together celebrations she was forced to. And only a little bit of sake. So it wasn't entirely dishonest of an answer. Besides, Ito didn't want to seem like she was not able to do something, especially when Viviana had an interest in it.

"Let's drink alcohol at a bar," said Ito, more confidently than before. She wasn't confident in it, but it didn't seem like anything she couldn't handle.

Viviana wasn't sure whether Toshiko was entirely behind the idea, but even a weak yes was still better than nought, so she opted to roll with it. Spotting the previously targeted burger spot in the distance, the duo would come to a halt via Viviana's own means, as she gently tugged on Toshiko's arm in tandem with her feet halting their walk.

"What about in here?" She'd nod her head, before looking up, seeing the sign for what looked to be a rather modest if busy sports bar.

When the pair came up to the sports bar, Toshiko canted her head slightly as she looked at it. Ito thought about if it was a good place or not for them to go to and whether or not they should go here or somewhere else, but she came upon the simple realization she had absolutely no idea if this place was good or not. She didn't even know if this was a proper hangout for a girl's night out. But she trusted Viviana not to steer her wrong.

"This looks fine," said Toshiko rather metal-ly. She then glanced up at Viviana and then tugged her forward as they both walked towards the sports bar, and when they got to the door, Toshiko finally released Viviana's hand so she could step forward and open the door for her, bowing her head slightly.

Opening the door, the bar itself was packed enough that the entrance of two stacked, muscular beauties didn't so much as spur a reaction. Holding the door open for Toshiko to walk through, Viviana would nervously push her hair behind her ear as she too realised just how much of her element she was, though perhaps not so much as Ito.

"Heh..o..ok.." She'd mutter more to herself than Toshiko, as she led the way to the bar, gently nudging through the crowd of patrons whom appeared to have amassed for viewing of a big national game. The bar itself wasn't so busy as to make getting a drink impossible though, given the crowd behind the duo seemed to be mostly catered for.

"Hmm..I may try something..wild.." She'd grin again, though not exactly sure what such a description could actually fit. "Oh...Whiskey!...On the rocks!"

Toshiko Ito was almost distracted by the scene in front of her. A crowd assembling in a place like this to watch a sport? It was interesting to her as she was so distracted she didn't even notice how nervous Viviana was. Toshiko didn't seem nervous about the crowd, and she wasn't anymore nervous than she was before with the entire situation of this get together.

The Japanese girl was following behind Viviana absently as she continued looking around, nearly bumping into a couple of people on their way to the bar. Finally, her attention snapped back when Accera had ordered a drink. Whiskey. She had heard of that. She never pretended to be an expert though. Ito would then raise a hand to the bartender and add, "I will also have a whiskey on rocks."

Then, after ordering and seeing the bartender turn her back, Toshiko looked back to Viviana and asked, "There will not be actual rocks in our drinks, will there?" She didn't want to ask what she perceived as a stupid question to the bartender and felt that maybe Viviana could put her worries at ease.

Viviana knew Toshiko's questions were honest ones, but she couldn't help but giggle again as yet another curious one left her lips. This time, she'd opt to be a little playful.

"Oh yes. Most bars get a deliver daily. They have to spend a few hours scrubbing them..." Trying and failing to keep that straight face, Viviana innocently tried to cover her grin, as a bartender returned with two whiskeys with surprisingly perhaps to Toshiko, ice.

Toshiko gave Viviana a confused look when she giggled at her question. But then she appeared to seriously answer her. The answer made more questions for the Japanese girl though. What purpose would rocks serve in a drink? Why so important they need to scrub them? Why would they not come clean already? She didn't even realize that her buff friend was pulling her chain.

Then when the drinks arrived Toshiko eagerly picked up her glass and looked it over, peering at all angles at the ice on the inside. Her eyes narrowed and she leveled an insulted look at Viviana and exclaimed, "You deceived me!" A full gambit of emotions ran through Toshiko after her outburst, but then she stopped entirely adopted a calmer, more stoic expression and then said, "...This was a joke. You were joking in a friendly manner."

Ito looked at her glass and nodded once more. To her, the outburst was rather awkward. Viviana had been trying to be nice and joke with her, and Toshiko just couldn't get to that level of acceptance. Unless...

Toshiko, taking her small glass in both hands, began to chug the entirety of the whiskey. When the liquid was emptied, the Japanese girl instantly turned to the side and coughed loudly. Then, Toshiko put a hand to her chest before holding her glass up again to get the bartender's attention. "I have finished my drink and I will have another," said Ito in a strained voice, as if she were biting back the sharp taste that was still in her throat from the drink.

Alcohol would loosen people up and make them more relaxed. Toshiko thought if she could use the alcohol to do just that, maybe Viviana would enjoy spending time with her more.

Grinning in delight as Toshiko reacted, Viviana continued with her jest yet still, as she lightly patted her new found friends back.

"Oh, they must of been fresh out...that's quite common you know.." Her grin giving the game away, she felt even someone as stoic as Toshiko would see through that jest, as she tended to her own glass a little slower than her compatriot.

"Oh..woah...You okay?" Her face both a smirk and a look of concern, Viviana gave the lightest of pats again almost to try and clear Toshiko's throat, seemingly overlooking the burn whiskey gave when drank so quickly and vastly.

"Heh...you out to get drunk now, Tosh Tosh?"

Toshiko wiped at her eyes as Viviana pat her back and shook her head. The sensation in her throat stung, and she wanted to stop her eyes from watering from it. "I am fine... It is just very strong," admitted the Japanese girl in her still strained voice.

Clearing her throat a few times, she could at least speak normally now. She took the second glass of whiskey from the bartender and thanked her before focusing on Viviana again, taking a small sip as she thought over her question. "I had not planned on it. I admit, I was simply hoping to... I believe the term is 'loosen up'. I don't think it worked, although maybe it is not instantaneous."

Thinking on that for another moment, Ito then asked, "Do girls our age typically get drunk for fun? Because I may not be opposed to it if they do." she peeked at Viviana curiously, leaning on her for any expertise she may or may not have on the subject.

"Well...yeh...even I knew that..." Viviana held that smile, holding her glass with her other hand as she raised it, swivelling the liquid to show Toshiko that at most she had taken a hefty sip.

"Mmm..I suppose...but you don't have to around me, ya know.." Trying to adopt an honest tone. "Hmm...I guess? Alot of girls I imagine do this a few times a week...maybe hit the clubs..." Leaning back, Viviana found herself shuddering at the thought of hitting Tokyo night life, given what they were wearing and their somewhat lack of experience in the activity. She didn't have to have gone clubbing herself before hand to imagine.

"But me thinks we'll just stick to a bar for now..."
