Laxia could feel Bandita’s warmth against her chest, enjoying the soft tickle of those lips against her breast as she listened. “I don’t think it’s strange... I know how much a mask can mean to a luchadora.” Laxia wasn’t entirely unfamiliar with lucha libre culture. She understood that seeing the woman beneath that mask wasn’t nearly as simple as merely asking to see her face, and there was nothing but respect in her voice as she accepted Bandita’s choice. “I like the person in front of me. And whether you’re wearing the mask or not... I don’t think that’s going to change.”
Then came Bandita's sly little smile and the almost threatening declaration that followed it. Something fluttered pleasantly in Laxia’s stomach, an excited little smile spreading across her face. She adored that shameless confidence, and perhaps even more embarrassingly, the way chica sounded when Bandita said it to her. A playful challenge gleamed in her blue eyes. “Careful, Bandita... catching me is one thing. Keeping me is another." She couldn’t help the teasing curve of her lips. There was something about Bandita’s boldness that made Laxia want to push back just enough to see what she would do with the challenge.
“Mmm...” Laxia’s eyes slipped shut as she savored Bandita’s lips against her own, soft and warm, that gentle nibble at her lower lip drawing a faint smile into the kiss. When they parted just enough to speak, Laxia let out a small sigh. “You’re right, though... what exactly are you planning to do about that?” Her brows lifted. “And what am I supposed to do...? Ugh... I don’t know anymore.” She rolled her eyes upward as though the thought alone had already given her a headache, but the gesture didn’t last. Her gaze inevitably fell back to the woman hovering so close above her, and whatever exasperation had been there quietly disappeared. Laxia found herself staring into Bandita’s eyes again. Those deep hazel-green eyes seemed almost emerald in the light, like sunlight caught beneath the surface of a still lake. And for a few quiet seconds, Laxia simply let herself sink into them.
“Still... like I said before, I don’t regret any of it.” The admission left her with a small, contented smile. Then her eyes drifted closed once more, and Laxia surrendered herself to the quiet warmth waiting at Bandita’s lips, lingering there as though she could make the moment last simply by refusing to let its sweetness fade.
