L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

This was not the response Katsumi was expecting. She'd anticipated more snark, more boast, more brassiness daring her to dole out more punishment. What she got was a low-key request for a breather. It's sort of endearingly honest, and she wasn't prepared for that.

"'Lady'? Come on, I'm twenty-two!," Katsumi huffs. For some reason, that word offended her vanity - as if it connoted being noticeably older than the other girl. Her expression is briefly pinches, lips pursed into an annoyed moue, but it doesn't last long.

Her focus returns to the match at hand, not especially wanting to give Tess time to recover. She grabs for Tess's wrist and upper-arm, pivoting at the hips to irish whip the blonde towards the furthest turnbuckle, hoping to send her dashing along for an impact against the pads.

Tess’s confidence had been shot, but she still had enough fight left in her to preserve.

Her opponent had not taken too kindly to her use of the word ’lady’, and grabbed her arm, throwing her toward the turnbuckle. Tess sees the impact coming, a brief bout of energy allows her to slow down and turn, hitting the corner with her back. Not the widest of plans as her back sears with pain.

“Aarrgh”

She grits her teeth and death stares her opponent, her mind racing to find an opportunity for an attack that can turn the tables.

Katsumi watches Tess race along the mat to the corner with interest, waiting to see if she'd hit the corner chest or back-first. Seeing her pivot at the last moment to take the impact with her back, she gives a little nod. Whether by instinct or, more likely, training? Tess took the bump the best way she could. Her trainers would've been pleased with that. With veterans, that defensive spin becomes second-nature.

The glare from Tess is then met with a confident and unbothered smirk. The Punk Princess turns away from her, arms raised to rhythmically clap her hands above her head as she paces a slow circle. The audience doesn't really clap along, not in any appreciable volume yet. They're starting to see the dynamic between these two - starting to. And it'll be increasingly difficult to rally behind a bully. That's discounting the bloodthirsty ones out there who simply revel in seeing someone probably nice and sweet getting pulverized and punished.

Upon coming to face her again, Katsumi bursts with speed. Legs pump rapidly, closing the distance with Tess in short order. The final couple feet are closed with a leap, Katsumi throwing her arm back to lead chest-first with the intention to collide against Tess in a body avalanche, hoping to crush her between herself and the turnbuckle behind her!

Slowly Tess’s strength has returned, not completely, but enough, enough to act. Her eyes watch as her opponent speaks in her current dominance, before turning and rushing toward her.

Tess remains weak looking, an inviting target. With a split second to spare her hand grabs a rope and her feet ready to spring into action, as Katsumi’ momentum gains, Tess pulls herself from her path, diving somewhat in gracefully to the side and avoiding being crushed by her opponent.
She stumbles to get to her feet hoping that as she turns her opponent will be still recovering, and primed for revenge.

Katsumi had felt pretty confident that her dive would be met with the soft and somewhat inviting chest of her skinny adversary. That her impact would be cushioned by, shall we say, a couple airbags. But that's not the case. Katsumi's expression has only a millisecond of a chance to change into shock when Tess isn't there to receive her, leading Katsumi to crash chest-first into the pads!

"Ungh!"

Her arms fling over the top ropes, her cheek slamming into the turnbuckle pad, and her feet scrambling blindly to keep them under herself. The daze leaves her mind rocked, and Katsumi manages to push away from the corner to stagger backwards blindly, one hand to her cheek, the other arm outstretched to the side.

Tess’s second wind is somewhat bolstered by the sight of her opponent hitting the turnbuckle chest first. But still winded and cautious of her back, Tess moves quickly, doing only a short run up before charging at her still recovering enemy, aiming to shoulder slam her hard into the turnbuckle, whilst still remaining on her feet after.

“You underestimated me dumbass, and now it’s time to feel the pain of revenge!”

Katsumi was still recovering from the impact with the pads, unable to do much to predict where her opponent might be coming in. But what she finds is a shoulder pressing flush against her back and rushing forward again, letting out a startled yelp before her body thumps against the turnbuckle again! Katsumi's arms fly over the top ropes again, her chest impacting the top turnbuckle, her hips against the middle pad.

Her expression was already twisted from the burst of pain in her svelte body from the collision, but it winces again upon hearing Tess. Squirming, she attempts to roll over against the pads to lean back against them.

"Gh.. don't swear.. doesn't sounds right off'a you..," she mutters as an arm crosses her chest in recuperation.

Tess can't help but smile stupidly, her fear having quickly turned to gleeful pride as the tables seem to have turned in her favour.

Letting Katsumi turn, her mind switches to her next attack, annoyed at being crushed by her opponent she lets revenge lead her thoughts.

“You said you don't like cuddling, how about Bear hugs?”

Tess rushes at her still wounded opponent, planning to wrap herself around her opponent and the turnbuckle before pulling tight and squashing her.

Of all the things Katsumi might've expected from the blonde, this was not one of them.

In the middle of giving her head a shake to refocus and recollect herself, she suddenly finds the other girl quite close. Nearly nose to nose with her, she feels the girl wrap her arms around her waist and the post behind her. And in quick succession, her senses are flooded with the feel of Tess's body pressing tight into her. Breasts mash to breasts, belly to belly.

"Ungh!"

Katsumi's hands quickly set to Tess's shoulders, eyes briefly squeezing shut in shock at the compression. Every inhale pushes herself tighter to the other girl.

"I.. thought.. it was you.. who didn't wanna get.. up close..!"

Tess smiles to herself, enjoying her position of power, that and the soft scent of her female opponent, she pushes away the pleasant softness of her body, she has a match to win!

"I don't mind getting up close with you honey, if only to let you know I'm not just some dumb rookie. Wonder how you'll feel after being squeezed to sleep by little ol' me?"

Tess nestles herself in for a deeper hold, her arms straining under the power required to keep up the squeeze, her eyes listen eagerly for any shortening of breath.
