Well that was a waste. Kodama didn't get anything useful to strategize with from what Hana said, while she in turn gave precious seconds off the clock she had to attack. Maybe you could say that Hana's advice was to go for attacks that took less time from start to impact, but that wasn't exactly revelatory information. Not to mention Kodama had thought her attack was quick. At least for the surprise factor that came with it.
Kodama wasn't going to let Hana get away, so she closed the distance that the Keijo pro tried to create. Trying to think of a unique way to strike while leading with her ass, Kodama would go for something deceptively direct. She would sprint at Hana, then turn as if she was going to go for a basic, standard Hip Thrust. Hard enough that Hana wouldn't want to block, but dodge instead. But the thrust wouldn't come. Kodama would effectively run backwards into the space where Hana was, then try to react to how her mentor dodged and strike for real in response.
