L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Evie's head was SCREAMING from the pain of that Elbow Strike. She felt so out of sync with herself as the world spun around her in a hazy blur. She could feel a softness pressing down on her as her opponent lay across her chest, gripping onto her leg with all her might as she hooked it tight. Evie let out a soft groan, stirring from her disoriented state as the referee began to count. Just a moment after the count of two, the Heavenly Maiden pushed herself to kick out, tucking in her other leg and thrusting with as much effort as she could spare as she lifted her shoulder off the mat. She managed to break free of the pin, coughing and wheezing for a moment before clutching at her jaw. She rolled onto her side, slowly trying to get to her feet, but only managing to get on all fours next to Hikaru.

Hikaru knew she was close but still disappointed when Evie kicked out. She grabbed Evie and pulled her up, hooking both arms and tucking Evie's head underneath her own arm. Hikaru lift up and over, sending Evie to the mat with a capture suplex! Once again as Hikaru landed she kept her back arched and bridged Evie into yet another pin attempt for her to kick out of!

Hikaru didn't just want to win, she needed this victory badly. She was of a mindset that she would wear this woman down and do whatever she had to in order to be the one standing tall with an arm raised for once.

Evie was swung around and planted back onto the canvas, SLAMMED against its unforgiving surface as her body tumbled and writhed from the impact, a huge gasp of air leaving her lungs as the force rippled throughout her petite body. Eventually, her twitching stopped as she felt limp against the mat, the crowd eager to see if Hikaru could put the debuting rookie away!!!


"1...!!!"

"2...!!!"


And yet, at the last second, Evie managed to kick out once more, barely managing to get an arm up in time as her whole body ached in pain, her petite and pale frame dripping with sweat after being ground down by the rigorous amounts of stress and damage she had to endure. And yet, the blonde rookie continued to press onward, fighting with all her might until the end. "C-Can't...w-won't...give...up!" She said, rolling over onto her belly. She would push herself onto her feet and go at Hikaru, trying to shove her into the ropes so that she could set her up for a Superkick, showing that she still had enough fight left in her to keep going.

Hikaru was in shock as she felt Evie kick out and she shook her head. She wanted this to end now. Hikaru rose to her feet and ran at Evie who was rising. Unfortunately for Hikaru she ran right into a trap! The super kick smashed her head and sent Hikaru stumbling and falling in a heap on the mat. She cradled her head in her arms and rolled around on the canvas having her momentum stopped flat by Evie's kick to her face!

Evie managed to stop Hikaru dead in her tracks, the Superkick catching her right in the face, sending the pink-haired grappler to the ground. The crowd roared in surprise, cheering for Evie to keep going, to press onward just a LITTLE more. Maybe, just maybe, she could win this! However, a Superkick likely wouldn't be enough to finish Hikaru, so Evie wanted to soften her up a little more by going for a Sit-Out Scoop Slam as she tried to lift Hikaru off the mat, turn her over, and drop her down onto the canvas across her back, using all the weight and power she could in her skinny, petite body! After that, Evie would gasp and groan as she lay on her back, trying to use this time to catch her breath. She knew she had to keep moving, so after slamming Hikaru, she would grab her by the hair and pull her up to her knees next.

The stunned Hikaru was surprised even further as Evie pulled her up and grabbed hold. Hikaru shook her head in protest as she felt herself grabbed and lift with surprising power! She shook her head and muttered before being slammed down hard, the ring shaking from the impact!

Hikaru moaned loudly in pain and kicked the mat a few times before her limp, listless figure was pulled up to its knees with Evie looking to have taken control against Hikaru in dominant fashion, and this was just the thing Hikaru was afraid of going into the match...

After driving Hikaru down onto the mat, the Heavenly Maiden cheered with enthusiasm, fighting through the exhaustion thus far to keep herself motivated as the crowd cheered too. Evie would grab Hikaru and drag her to her feet, sliding her across the middle rope so that she was leaning halfway out of the ring. Evie stepped through the ropes and onto the apron, leaning against the turnbuckle for a moment before lining herself up with her opponent. She then ran forward and hopped up with one leg raised as high as she could lift it, nailing Hikaru with a sudden Axe Kick on the apron!!! Evie brought her leg down across Hikari's upper back, the impact tilting the pink-haired woman over and sending her spilling out over the ropes, dropping down onto the apron and then the padded floor below!!!

Hikaru was down and now at the mercy of Evie who was quickly piling on! The middleweight groaned as she was dragged and draped across the middle rope. She was powerless to stop what was coming as she was stomped hard and let out a small moan of pain as her body lifelessly collapsed to the outside in a heap! Hikaru was motionless and laying there on the outside, not moving after being devastated by Evie's offense.

Hikaru dropped to the outside like a sack of bricks, heavy and motionless as she lay in a crumpled heap. The crowd was cheering for Evie, and at least half of them were clapping for her to keep going. The other half were screaming Hikaru's name, trying to rally behind her as the audience split between the two women, both fighters giving it their all in one hell of a clash. Evie stepped to the outside, standing on the edge of the ring for a moment before running forward at breakneck speed, going for a quick and stylish Cartwheel Splash as she twirled herself off the apron and hurtled her body at the downed Hikaru.

Hikaru was down, out, and defenseless. She was unable to even try to move as Evie came crashing down on top of her leaving Hikaru howling in pain as she was flat on the ground outside the ring! She didn't move aside from her chest heaving as she drew breath. Hikaru was in disbelief how she went from being in control to now reeling, unable to even stand up. This was bad, and this was starting to look like a far familiar story in her career as she felt like this was spiraling out of control entirely!
