Ami's plan was working thus far, but Peggy was still pulling away from her. She tried to provoke her as much as she could, but the redhead wasn't taking any of the bait, let alone even mounting her own offense. The moment Ami suspected Peggy was going to do something, she pulled away and just created more space, much to the brunette's chagrin. Still, Ami couldn't allow Peggy to run around forever, so when she saw an opening, she leaned in far and tried to cut her off by trapping her near the corner. If all went according to her plan, she'd wind up an overhand aimed at Peggy's head, but that wound-up punch would be used to swat away whatever Peggy might fire in retaliation so that Ami could use her other hand to clock her upside the jaw with a hook.

Ami swerved to the side which did disrupt Peggy’s pattern a bit as she stumbled in place. Ami was starting to block out Peggy’s route of escape and launched an overhand feint to get Peggy to bring up her gloves as the shot landed on the leather! However, once Peggy put her guard down, Ami’s other glove shot up packing a wallop as Peggy was launched into the corner and Peggy groaned in pain as her long arms slumped over the top rope. Peggy just sat down in the corner as the ginger boxer had to take a moment for herself and that is when the referee stepped in ordering Ami to a neutral corner so he could count out Peggy.

Peggy was left to slump in the corner, sliding down the padded surface before coming to a complete stop at the bottom, huffing and puffing. Ami let out a breath of satisfaction, a slight grin forming on her face as she raised one glove above her head in triumph, nodding gently as she made her way to a neutral corner. Regardless of how much time Peggy spent on the canvas, Ami was going to catch as much of her breath as possible, keeping her composure and not getting too far ahead of herself with her excitement. She had leveled things out in terms of score, much to her delight. Now it was time to pull away with the lead and leave Peggy in the dust, provided the ginger woman even stood herself back up following that knockdown.


The referee stood over Peggy, raising his hands and counting with his fingers to show Peggy how much time she had left.

Peggy panted and closed her eyes as she bowed her head as her coach yelled at her to get back up. The referee started the count slowly as by the count of four, Peggy was ready for more of the battle. She used the ropes to stand up in the corner fully back to her feet at a count of six, but this did put Ami in a good lead to take the third round as the judges took note of the knockdown. Peggy wasn’t sure how long was left on the timer, but she got her guard up and the referee asked her if she was good to go as she nodded not wanting to back down now!
