A part of Kyo REALLY didnt want to tap. He knew he could make it to the ropes and force Mary to break the hold. But he also knew that Mary had the Achilles lock expertly applied, stretching away at his tendons and wearing away at them brutally. If Kyo crawled to the ropes to make the tag, he likely would have inflicted serious damage on his own leg-- enough, at the very least, to leave him with a severe mobility disadvantage in this match.

No, he needed to fight smarter, not harder. As Mary released his leg, Kyo let out a pained gasp of relief and sat upright, massaging his leg for several seconds. He knew he had just pulled a risky move: if Mary got a second tap out after this, then the match would be over. He would have to make sure that didn't happen.

Slowly, he got back up to his feet: despite the lingering pain, he still flashed Mary a smile. "Well done," he said, complimenting his opponent, before starting to circle her and motioning for a grapple. "Ready to go again?"

Mary smiled as she waited for Kyo to get up, and as she did, she heard Kyo gave her some compliments.

“Thank you sir Kyo, and I am ready.” Mary said back before bowing to her opponent before getting into a grappling position.

Mary proceeded to move closer to Kyo, looking to engage Kyo in another collar and elbow tie up.

Kyo chuckled at Mary's use of 'sir'. "Please, no need for such formality," he said. "Simply 'Kyo' will do fine."

And with that, he tied up once again with the Blue Beast. For a few seconds, he and Mary would push and twist against each other, Kyo trying to use his superior height and weight to force Mary back.

That was, until, in a mirror of Mary's opening move at in the first round, he would spin around, trying to latch the bluenette in a side headlock, grinding her against his abs as he squeezed tightly...

Mary’s overt politeness still came into view when she referred to her opponent as sir, before her opponent assured her that calling him Kyo would be fine. “Okay, Kyo.” She responded.

Mary and Kyo then tied up, both grappling and scrambling for position, to gain an advantage in the second fall of this submission match.

Then Kyo was put in a side headlock, her head right next to Kyo’s abs. She realized how bad this positon was and knew she needed to get out.

Mary then realized her legs were free, and would attempt to swing her leg to the back of Kyo’s leg, specifically the one that she had earlier put in a achilles lock.

Locking in the side headlock, Kyo grinned as he trapped Mary's head against his side, grinding her face slightly against his abs. So far so good, he thought. Now he just needed to flip her down to the mat in a grounded headlock and--

Quick as a wink, Mary's boot swiped in, knocking one of his own legs out from under him! Cursing, Kyo went toppling onto his front, and tried to roll clear of Mary before she could follow up with anything...

Mary had to use her brain and managed to get herself out of the side headlock by Kyo, kicking him in the back of the leg, before Kyo rolled away.

Mary knew she had Kyo on the ropes and probably knew she could not use a submission hold from this position.

With that, Mary ran over to where Kyo was and looked to jump up and dropkick Kyo right in the head. She was not used to drop kicks as she was not that agile, but it was worth a try.

Mary was reacting quickly, deftly flipping Kyo over down onto his front after escaping his headlock. Cursing, he tried to roll, spinning up to his feet again, not wanting the bluenette to retake the initiative...

...only to take both of Mary's boots square in the face as she nailed him with a drop kick! "GUUUGH--" he grunted, toppling onto his back, utterly dazed from the blow....

Mary managed to drop kick Kyo right in the head, before falling right onto her back unceremoniously. “AH!” Mary gasped, as she rubbed her back before getting back up onto her feet.

Mary knew she had to capitalize and finish off Kyo quickly as she leapt onto the back of Kyo, hoping to land right on him.

Mary was about to lock on her finishing Rear Naked Choke The Silencer, in an attempt to finish Kyo off and obtain the second fall.

Kyo's skull was ringing from the direct impacts of Mary's boots to his skull. Flopping about on the mat, he felt around, trying to re-orient himself and get back upright. Unfortunately this meant that he was completely oblivious to what Mary was doing behind him. That was, until she slammed down bodily against him.

He grunted from the impact, but quickly felt Mary's arms snaking around her throat, her warm breath agaisnt his ear as she cinched in a tight sleeper. Clenching his teeth, Kyo instinctively rolled sideways, one arm immediately going down to grab at Mary's knee to prevent her from scissoring him. The other arm shot back, trying to hit the bluenette with an elbow to make her release her grip, or at least to weaken it enough for him to try to pull a reversal...

Mary knew that once she had her arms wrapped around Kyo’s neck, she was not going to let go of him until she scored the submission, and therefore she was going to have to last with all the endurance she could muster.

Mary struggled to keep on the hold as Kyo was preventing a full scissor of Mary’s leg around his midsection while Mary felt crushing elbows laid into her midsection.

Mary grimaced as her grip slightly loosened, though still trying to keep the sleeperhold in on her opponent, using all of her might.
