Emelie had dashed toward the dazed Callie, assuming far too quickly that the brunette was finished, and hoping to put her away swiftly with this follow-up Flatliner variation. Unfortunately, instead of Callie's face bouncing off the canvas, it'd be Emelie's head taking some serious damage. The white-haired Frenchwoman was swatted out of the air like a fly, with Callie's sudden Roundhouse Kick sending the woman spiraling into the ropes, bouncing off them in an awkward motion before crashing down to the canvas, a guttural groan, clutching at her head as it ached. She kicked her legs, writhing in pain as she tried to catch her breath and soothe the pain she was feeling.

Callie smiled as her roundhouse kick managed to nail Emelie right in the flush and right upside her head, what perfect timing from a gold medalist, she should not expect less from herself.

Now Callie had to decide what she needed to do now that Emelie was down, and now she had an idea.

Callie waited for Emelie to get to her knees, before coming right at her, looking to land a superkick straight to Emelie’s face.

Surely enough two kicks to the head would be enough to put her opponent out for the match.

Emelie struggled to get up. Her head was rattling, her legs were wobbling, and her vision was blurring. The world was spinning around her, and she couldn't tell up from down. The moment she managed to pick herself up, even a little, Callie was there to knock her right back down with a stiff Superkick to the head, sending the Frenchwoman tumbling back down to the canvas with another agonized groan, her body slumping down in a heap near the ropes. Was the white-haired judoka truly finished?! From a distance, it looked as if Callie had sealed the deal with her impeccable kicks...the ball was in the brunette's court!

Callie got exactly what she wanted, the superkick was nailed right on Emelie’s head, and it seemed like her opponent was out like a light. This was what she should had expected fighting a gold medalist.

But Callie knew she had to end the match manually, and that was via pinning her opponent for the night for three seconds.

Sorry Emelie, it was a nice fight, especially for your debut, but Callie wanted the win more, or so she thought to herself.

Callie fell on Emelie, before hooking her leg and attempting the pinfall, certainly enough she will be hearing three and the bell ringing very soon.

At the count of two-and-a-half, Emelie managed to kick her way out, breaking free from Callie's pin attempt as she got a shoulder off the ground. Her head was aching as the world was spinning all around her. She barely managed to cling to the little strength she had left, but it was enough. She pushed Callie off her body, trying to put some distance between herself and her opponent before rolling away to the ropes. With those as support, she pulled herself back onto her feet, though her stance was a little shaky as her legs felt slightly numb. Still, the Frenchwoman had a little more fight left in her as she stared her opponent down.

When Emelie got her shoulder up, Callie felt a little shocked up, she really thought that would had been it, and she would be walking out of the arena with a win after that knockout blow.

Knowing that she probably just needed one more clean hit to eventually pin Emelie, Callie got up to her feet and seeing that Emelie was a bit wobbly, knew what she had to do.

Callie would swiftly approach Emelie, before aiming a kick right to her knee, if that managed to work, Callie would then attempt to roundhouse kick Emelie’s head and finish her off.

Callie was in shock that Emelie managed to kick out, having expected a clear victory following what should have been a knockout. However, the French judoka had just enough left in the tank for a final gambit...but she had to pick her moment carefully and wait until Callie was in the perfect position to be caught within her web again.

Just then, as the pair scrambled to their feet, the Frenchwoman saw Callie coming in hot! Emelie narrowly avoided the kick to her knee, rushing in to get close to the brunette's side before rising to her feet and grabbing hold of Callie before she could pivot into something else. Once the Frenchwoman had her arm around her opponent's body, she swung her leg around Callie's, trying to use all her weight and might to roll them forward with a Russian Leg Sweep Roll directly into an Octopus Stretch, one of Emelie's finishing moves, the Web-Trap!!! She wrapped Callie up into the submission hold, wrenching on it as tightly as possible as she aimed to force her to tap out!!!
