"Nnnngh...fucking..." Karen's jaw was throbbing and her head was swimming with dizzy colours. It had been enough to stagger her, to send her back a few steps. To leave her vulnerable to Severin's follow up, whatever that ended up being.

As it turned out, Severin was in the mood to showboat a little: the man came charging at her, and Karen tensed, bracing herself for a clothesline or diving kick. He leapt at her, feet-firs...but didn't land with the force Karen had been expecting, lightly tapping her rather than hammering her with a brutal impact. The reason became apparent as Severin sprang off of her, flipping through the air, before arcing downwards to come down at her.

It was impressive, Karen had to admit. And more than a little cute. But if Severin thought she was going to be out of it from just a simple RKO, he was mistaken.

As gravity kicked in and Severin came falling back down towards her, Karen would try to raise her arms at the last moment to catch him across her shoulders, quickly wrapping an arm around his shoulder and thigh for a fireman's carry. If she managed that, then she would pitch sideways with a loud yell, aiming to slam Severin down to the mat with a brutal slam. That is, of course, assuming she was fast enough to catch him-- otherwise she would end up flattened underneath him on the mat...

Time slowed as Severin took off into the air, staring at the lights above. He got a lot of it too; it was a good push. The crowd went silent. Was his launch enough to knock her down too? Or at least set her off balance?

His body arced, then turned, then...

Then he saw her staring right up at him, waiting. NO!

Getting her arms in position, lining up where he was going to land.

NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO!

And she caught him.

"Oh, fuck me." The masked man's tone was one of resignation. She was about to fuck him up. Again.

"OHHH!!!" The crowd came together in one big, collective wince as the ring shook and sent the sound of the impact through...hell, he wouldn't have been surprised if they were able to hear that shit in the nosebleeds. Severin was on his back now, as still as a corpse aside from the rise and fall of his chest. He's taken his share of ass kickings over the years, but he has never been in this much pain before, with his entire body screaming for him to stay the fuck down.

The ring shook from their combined weight as Karen slammed Severin hard down into the mat. As far as counters went, it had been a lucky break: had she been even a fraction of a second slower in catching him, Severin's leap would have been enough to floor her. Given how much of a hard time her male opponent was giving her right now, this was a much-needed turnaround for her.

The impact left Karen lying against Severin, feeling the soft rise and fall of his chest as he lay utterly dazed from the impact. Not wasting any time, Karen lay across him fully, her chest pressing down against his as she hooked one of his legs. In an instant, the ref started the countdown.

"ONE..."
