L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

"Oh yeah? It's savory, isn't it~? A little salty too~...a perfect combination of flavors." Akari said with a smile, taking a slice for herself and enjoying the first couple of bites. Hot, greasy, and delicious! With an ice-cold drink to wash it all down. Akari would eat alongside her new trainee, looking to share this moment with her as a bit of bonding experience, making positive memories on their first day together to foster a nice relationship as mentor and mentee. The two would continue to converse a bit with Akari learning more about Kimiko's life and vice versa. Akari would tell the woman how she was originally slated to go to college for music production...something she could show her later...but she caught the 'pro-wrestling bug' and immediately began to enroll in a school to train as a Joshi-wrestler, working her way through the Indies and meeting various friends...and foes...along the way. In between all that, Akari would comment about how she met the loves of her life, Wisteria Khan, and another wrestler named Akemi Ikarashi, who was currently employed under a different promotion in the states named Leviathan. As for Kimiko's life, Akari would learn what it was like to grow up secluded from all of this and while it was drastically different from what the Sea Turtle had known all her life, she was nonetheless eager to show Kimiko the ropes and teach her as much as she possibly could.

Once all the chatter was done, the two would clean up, saving whatever pizza was left for Kimiko to take home in a convenient box. Akari reminded her of what she said earlier, to balance what she ate, drank, and did in order to keep her physique up, but it was still good to enjoy the little things from time to time. Plus, saving this pizza would save her money here and there as she could reheat it later if need be...all of this reminded Akari of the nights she spent in college over in the United States. Lots of all-nighters and buying cheap to-go food to eat and work in her dorm. It made the woman smile and chuckle at the thought before they left the restaurant.

"So, seems like you liked pizza~...I never expected to teach you about the wonders of bread, sauce, and cheese compacted together in a disc, but I'm glad I did. Your reaction was priceless~." She said, encouraging her with a pat on her shoulder before taking a look around the bustling city. "I'm so excited to show you the world here, Kimiko. This place can be so much more than just a 'job' and ruthless competition. It can be a real home, with plenty of friends to make. There are so many things to dive into and I just know you'll find your way eventually. And I promise to be there alongside you to cheer you on when you succeed and pick you up when you stumble." She said, giving the woman a side hug.

"Mhm" Kimiko responded, smiling as Akari took a slice of pizza for herself. As the two settled in they began to share things about themselves, Kimiko learning all sorts of things about her mentor like her life before wrestling, her career before LAW, her relationship and personal life, lots of things to take note of but with the two being mentor and mentee, it was going to be important to be open with each other. Kimiko explained what it was like growing up secluded, to her it was not that weird, but to most others it likely was, something Kimiko was coming to understand quickly. After that she began to explain why she wanted to wrestle, how her family before hand wrestled and how there was a gap in there lineage due to her father not perusing it do to an injury and how she wanted to fix that and become a wrestler herself.

When both of them had there fill of the delicious pizza Kimiko received a box that she put the remainder in while also receiving a reminder to watch what she ate, something a dietician would surely come in handy. She hadn't worried about what she was eating back home but generally it was always healthy but as Akari said, she needed to keep her physique up and remain competitive.

Kimiko smiled as her mentor patted her on the shoulder and gave her a side hug, giving her some reassuring words and some of confidence as the two stood outside of the restaurant. "Thank you Akari" Kimiko responded with a smile before looking around. "So what now?" she asked waiting for Akari's directions on what they should do next.

"For now, I think we should head back so we can get your place cleaned up and looking spic and span. A healthy living environment will help you out in the long run. Always be sure to make your bed in the morning. It'll be something positive that you accomplished at the beginning of your day. And also~...it's a great boost to your morale. Because no matter how tired you are or how stressed out you get, at least at the end of the day you get to return to a nice, cozy, well-made bed." She said, giving the woman some insightful advice here and there before the pair returned to Kimiko's dorm, getting some supplies on the way back to make sure she had food for the week and some essentials before getting straight work, sweeping and dusting, scrubbing and rinsing, laying out some of belongings and setting her up with some basic things like dishes, utensils, toiletries, the usual...it was like a parent taking their kid to college for the first time, and it'd serve as a wonderful memory...and a wonderful beginning...for the next generation-
