L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Katsumi is left staring at her blankly, perhaps a little dumbly as she's essentially scolded by the shorter brunette. Well, now she just feels foolish and patronizing. This is why Katsumi rarely tries to be nice to people! It never seems to work out!

"Uh, err, right," she stammers. She still isn't sure how she feels about this, given everything, and her mouth seems to've created another potential problem for someone else, but she doesn't feel 'allowed' to feel bad about it anymore. 'Fuckin' socializing, man...'

She scratches lightly at her temple, attempting to distract from the conflicted look on her face. Fortunately, that seems to be the last bit of time she needs before she determines in herself to give Suzume what she seems to want.

"Alright, Lil' Miss Suzubits! You won't hear any apologies from me when you're flat on your back for the one-two-three! Just don't get your hopes up beforehand, and you'll be fine!," she banters, putting on that confident smile with an added wink.

Suzume couldn't help but look up to Katsumi. Perhaps it was her attitude, or perhaps it was just the height difference. Either way the brunette felt inspired. "That's Lil' Bit...I mean Suzu! IT'S SUZUME!" She stammered, seemingly unable to put the right string of words together. Finally after a slight blush had formed on her face, she got it correct.

"Umm...Just don't cry when I bend you into a pretzel alright?" The smaller wrestler said, albeit a lot less confidently then her counterpart had delivered their banter. She couldn't just not say nothing though so that was what she was going with. It wasn't the greatest but Suzume figured it got the point across pretty nicely.

Now there was only one thing left to do. Suzume had come here to play some games but now she'd gotten herself booked for a fight. She was going to win though and show everyone that she could excel at more than just fighting games. Whether or not other people thought so, she was a full fledged wrestler.

"You think you can take me?," asks Katsumi, flowing seamlessly into the ring theatrics she so enjoys. She steps closer to the shorter girl, chin tipped upwards just enough to take on a cocky air, looking down her nose at Suzume. And the proximity closes enough that her breasts bump the other girl's, unless she shies back! "You can't handle all this," she continues. "And I'm gonna show that whole audience! You just can't compete with me! Not in skill, strength, or hotness!" She whisks a hand through her blueblack hair~

She has every intention to get back to gaming. But she absolutely loves this aspect of her career. She gets paid to bully people, and - perhaps hopefully - the people she bullies understand why she does it and don't take it too personal. Suzume hasn't done anything to offend Katsumi, other than some basic trash-talking. It's not like she's messed with her awesome car or anything.

Suzume was a bit taken aback by Katsumi's whole act. She wasn't quite expecting the theatrics without much of a crowd. "I...welll...ummmm!" She stammered, now bumping chests with the bluenette. Suzume couldn't help but blush as the two stood chest to chest and would eventually take a step back. It was obvious that she was intimidated by Kat but really she admired the woman's confidence. If she didn't have more important things to think about, she'd probably be wishing she could switch places with the woman.

"Ummmm..." She continued before finally thinking of the right words. "Wellllll We'll just see in he ring then! Won't we." She said, trying to muster up as much confidence as she could. Admittedly that wasn't a lot but it was at least enough to keep her voice from shaking. Right now she just wished she could go back to playing video games. That was what today was supposed to be about.

Sensing Suzume's growing dread - is dread the right word for it? - Katsumi relents a little. Again, Lil' Bit hasn't done anything to actually offend the Punk Princess or earn her ire. This is more in pre-match fun than anything. Granted, Katsumi's idea of fun may differ considerably from most normal, well-rounded folks.

"Yeah," says Katsumi as she steps forward. With a small, more reassuring smile, she aims to set a hand over Suzume's shoulder. "But that ass-kicking's comin' later," she adds with a wink. "Tonight's about gaming. What do you like? Any favorites?"

Katsumi's smile was enough to put Suzume at ease for the moment. She didn't even mind the comment about an ass kicking. After all she had heard wrestlers say much worse and as far as the brunette was concerned, she could handle herself. It was the last remark that got her excited though. The woman's eyes lit up as all of her favorites came to mind.

"Ooooh! Street fighter! Or Marvel vs Capcom! I can cause some MAJOR salt there." She said with a growing smile. The woman was now practically bouncing up and down on her toes in excitement. She almost forgot to ask about her new 'friend'. "Oh right haha what about you? Where do you spend your quarters?" She asked despite already drifting towards the games.

Letting her hand fall to her side again, Katsumi watches Suzume light up with a bemused grin. The games she lists off aren't bad. In fact, they're pretty popular choices. They're not her personal picks, however.

"Lemme guess. You latch onto Rainbow Mika and never let go, right?," she teases. "Or are you into the huge bear, himself? You know Zangief's into dudes, don'cha? You don't have a shot!"

Teasing complete, she turns to follow her along to the cabinets. "I'm more into the side-scrollers. Final Fight, Ninja Turtles... my favorite's not even in here, which is totally lame, because it's Club Sega, and it's a Sega game. Streets of Rage?" She shoots a surreptitious glance to Suzume. "Dig the music, the style, and the idea that a police car can get basically anywhere."

Suzume furiously shook her head. "No no no, Ryu all the way...Who is also into guys, or small brunettes as far as I'm concerned." The woman said with a slight blush. Her attention turned right back to Katsumi though as she started speaking once again. She wasn't going to let a little teasing completely throw her off, or at least not right now when there were video games to play.

"Oh side scrollers huh? I only played double dragon with my brother." The smaller girl admitted. She was trying to remember what it was like but she was only able to partially remember the mechanics. She was more into competitive games than cooperative ones anyway. Still though she wouldn't mind playing some games with Kat. She had plenty of quarters to spend and plenty of time to use them. "Maybe I could be your tag partner." She proposed, looking around for a cabinet.

"Ugh, so generic," bemoans Katsumi in regards to Ryu. "Everyone is a Ryu fanboy. Be original. Go for Dhalsim. Or- which one's that gross-ass dude who oils himself up and totally has like a fucking baby for his ultra? That guy." Beat. "No, don't go for that guy. Weird as Hell."

She skips a step forward and stretches her arms high above her head, pulling her body taut and drawing her tanktop up just enough to give a glimpse of midriff. Her arms drop with a satisfied squeak! "Wait, what? Tag? You mean like on Tekken?," she asks. "My usual games are up a floor, I think. But we can do whatever, I'm chill."

"Oh!"

She begins reaching for Suzume's hair to attempt bunching it up and 'shortening' it closer to her head. "You could totally cosplay Sakura."

"Pfff Hakkan is low tier traaashhh." Suzume said with a growing smile. It wasn't often she got to talk to someone about games and she was obviously enjoying it. Her other comment seemed to confuse Kat though who was now on to a different fighting game. "No not Tekken...I mean totally Tekken...but I REALLY meant wanna play the other game together." Suzume rambled, seemingly going in circles as she tried to get the point across that she wanted to team up in Streets of Rage.

Suddenly Suzume felt her hair being bunched up. "Ahh hey...I worked hard on that." She pouted, now standing there with a slightly different hairdo. "Pfff...I guess." She responded before quickly ' fixing ' her hair. No matter what anyone did though it would return to it's previous messy state. The thought of cosplaying never really crossed her mind though. The brunette didn't think she even could if she tried.
