Alicja was shocked that her move actually worked, not in her usual stumbling fashion but actually in a technically sound way and she did so fast. The training she was putting in was finally paying off and she felt a certain level of pride in that. Trying not to leave the move as a sole achievement of the moment, she would grab a hold of Astrid's legs and attempt to lock a figure four leglock submission.

Astrid was down on her back as she would feel the other wrestler grasp her left foot as she tried to pull it out of her grasp. Not wanting her sparing partner to trap her in whatever hold she had in mind. As she feared that allowing Alicja the change could turn this whole thing around , and lead to her defeat as she tried to crawl away should she succeed in getting her foot out of her opponent's reach

Getting the slam itself was already good so Alicja didn't expect to go much further with her plans and she was right. Astrid without much issue backed away from her, and safely out of reach. Trying to pursue would probably end poorly so the polish girl decided not to, instead getting back to her stance and waiting on Astrid's move. Getting hit by her might not be a nice prospect but Alicja did need more practice in her defence.

Astrid was trying to move away as she had lost control of the sparring session , and now had to come up with an way to regain that control. Still she was certain that the other wrestler was not gonna make it easy for her as she would watch as Alicja got into her stance again as she wondered why as she got to her feet as she asked''why did you not press your advantage when you had it?''

"You slipped away, I figured if I got too greedy now I'd just get pounded." She said a bit embarrassed, if a more experienced wrestler like Astrid was saying that, that meant she could have probably got away with another attempt but her lack of confidence held her back.

To get things going again, she would step closer, throw a quick jab and get back to her guard, wanting to focus on her defense for a little bit and counters if she'd get the chance.

''Sometimes you gotta take that risk as now you did not win anything regardless''retorted Astrid as she would watch as her opponent would move in as she would block the jab that was send her way. As she moved it away from her chest as she tried to grasp onto it as she hoped to grab hold on her sparring partner's wrist , and force her arm behind her back as she whispered ''so don't be too careful or you could end up losing everything''

Astrid managed to easily maneuver Alicja into another hold, it was a bit frustrating but not surprising. Hearing the other woman, she would nod her understanding before trying to stomp on her foot, hoping that it would distract her enough for Alicja to turn back. If she managed that she'd attempt to use Astrid's grip on her against her as she pulled and attempted to land a lariat on her opponent.

Astrid would easily force the other woman into an different hold as she would just smile when she saw the other wrestler nod in understanding at her. Only to gasp when her foot was trapped beneath Alicja's weight as she gasped in pain as she would let go as she resisted the urge to hop around on one foot as her opponent knocked her down with an lariat.

The move she just pulled off would certainly not win her any words for ingenuity but at the level she was at, Alicja would take effective over flashy any day, at least the former had less of a chance of ending in disaster and this time it worked. Remembering What Astrid told her before, Alicja would try to capitalize on the advantage she had at this moment. The last time she tried a submission that had more of a finicky setup so this time she would go for something simpler. Grabbing Astrid's arm and laying lags across her chest, Alicja would pull back and thrust her hips up, attempting to lock in an armbar.

Astrid was taken down by the other wrestler , and unlike last time it seemed that Alicja was not gonna take her time this time as she would move forward. As she felt the other woman grasp onto her arm as she was not going down without an fight. Still for now she was trapped in an armbar , and had no way out as she was surprised by how strong her opponent was as she looked at Alicja as she tried to come up with an way out of her predicament.
