Kaede would properly wake up in a hospital room. Before this moment she faintly remembered the sound of sirens ans being loaded on to a stretcher, beforw riding in an ambulance.

The only thing good about any of this was that she was, in fact, alive and while her torso and head felt pretty numb, she cpuld at least feel know that has hurt as she was, she could still feep that her body was functioning.

Though the main thing consuming her thoughts was not so much the functioning of her body now, but the misfunctioning of her brain before all of this. Challenging a Boxer like Yang to a fight in a narrow alleyway was incredibly dumb. In no way shape or form did she avenge her friend Kate, she just got the crap beaten out of her.

What bothered her before, still bothered her now and all she had to show for it was hospitalization. To.make matters wirse, there was no way she'd be in any condition to have her third apex match in time, nor be scheduled for We Are Law either. Kaede was angry, but it was mosyly with herself. Yang won, fair and square. Sure, she kept on pummeling her well after Kaede gave in, but there was no point in crying foul over a back alley brawl.

Normally Yang would be sleeping like a rock after sending someone to the hospital. Though something about the beating she just gave Kaede sat wrong with her. Sure Kaede started and deserved to get her ass handed to her. Still…the asshole did cry out for mercy, something Yang did not listen to. So the least she could do was at least Kaede all the way to saftey.

While the medical staff was doing their magic on Kaede. Yang was told to wait outside the room while they did so. Yang making sure to leave out that she was the one that made Kaede look the way she did. The blonde brawler knew that Kaede would live, but its the aftermath she was worried about. Maybe there was some way, even if a small chance, she could repair his burning bridge.

Once Yang was able she entered Kaede’s room and luckily the woman was awake enough to see her. Taking a sigh of relief, Yang was never good with apologies, but words was the least she could give at this time. I don’t say this often, and I won’t say it again. While you did deserve getting your ass kicked by me. I can recognize I did too much, and for that I am sorry. I am okay with chalking this up to us getting off to the worst foot possible. After all you don’t seem all bad if you came for the sake of a friend… Yang said as she drained off, thinking that really she started all of this with her friend Kate. Looking to the side and rubbing the back of her head in some embarrassment.
