The Anomaly strolled forward through the wreckage looking down on Selket. Finally, an image worthy of this false prophet. She is in her proper place. Beneath the stature of a true demon….a true god….the next big threat to LAW as darkness folds across the land. The demon stalked forward and stood over Selket looking down as he tilted his head to the right seeing the priestess be reduced to a half-awake corpse. He wasted no time getting on his knees and jamming his left hand in the mouth of Selket locking in his Mandible Claw finisher! If the priestess was going out, he would be the reason why!

The demon grabbed her hands with his other free hand making sure she couldn’t try anything else and this time, The Anomaly had a tighter grip on the jaw. There wasn’t gonna be a way out this time. The demon roared in Selket’s face and shook her body hoping to make her go to sleep this time. He ravaged her around roaring as his dark eyes boared into Selket’s fading pupils. He saw her eyes fluttering and trying her hardest to stay awake, but after that impact, it’s a wonder she wasn’t knocked out cold already.

Laying in the debris of a massive impact was an unfortunately familiar feeling for Selket. After all that was how she had lost to Astrid. Getting through the air and crashed through a stage for the Norse woman to pin her. Hell had they turned over too much midair it would have been Selket who had won that match.. Alas that wasn't what had happened though. Though whether the anomaly knew that or not and did this intentionally was unknown. What was for certain though was that he would be making the most of Selket's vulnerable position.

Feeling him crouch over her Selket idly tried to do something, but she just couldn't muster the energy to do anything to stop him. Feeling her hands grabbed and pulled above her there was nothing Selket could do as the man's mouth entered her mouth once more, tightening and causing intense pain to fill her jaw, immediately making her release a muffled scream into his hand! Kicking her legs about weakly and thrashing her body around in the sarcophagus it was all for naught as Selket thrash and moaned, but otherwise couldn't do anything as slowly but surely Selket would pass out in his grasp, falling still as a corpse under him.

Selket had tried to maneuver her way out, but after that crash through the wall, she was easy prey for the demon. Locking in the Mandible Claw had made an easy job of Selket and she was soon passing out as The Anomaly lowered his gaze making sure that the priestess wasn’t pulling a trick on him. He lifted one of her arms and let it fall back on the floor kicking up a small cloud of dust. That was the sign The Anomaly needed to know victory for him was claimed. Selket definitely was not an easy foe to defeat and if The Anomaly allowed her more time to come down on him, he surely would have been in her position. However, any battle in The Anomaly’s realm always played to his favor no matter how drastic things get.

The Anomaly left the corpse of Selket lying in the debris before turning on his heel to check on Lyra. Lyra had been badly bruised and her normal cloak had a few rips in it as the nightly breeze picked it up sometimes. The demon picked up his disciple and threw her over his shoulder. His low growls indicated concern as he shot another glare over at Selket’s prone body. This battle is done….but was the war between these supernaturalists over? For now, maybe, but the future is a different story.

Winner by knockout: “The Anomaly” Jonathan Steele
