Veronika nodded. "Yes, Champagne.", she said while tears trickled down her cheeks. "Because there was only on Eclaire.", the Queen of Hearts, usually a composed and proud women pressed her new friend to her heart as she started to cry. There were tears of joy, tears of sadness and tears that she had to hide so long ago. Veronika had accepted that no one would ever love her but since he came to Japan, everything had changed. She did'nt need to be loved by thousand empty faces now because she had Croissant, she had Champagne, she had the Eagles Nest...

Her eyes wandered to Chris and she pulled her closer, hugging all two of them as her tears just broke lose, Veronika cried like she never had cried before, bleeding it all out. She held the two close to her, pressed her face into Chris white, fluffy hair and just made sure that none of them would leave now. Outside Croissant barked, hearing his beloved mum cry. He jumped around and ran in circles, whimpering and scratching at the door. Veronika heard him and smiled. "Croissant, this is Croissant!", she just said and gave the puppy in her lap a kiss. "Don't worry little fella. We get you out of here. Forever this time.", she smiled and followed Chris. They opened the door and Croissant jumped into Veronikas arms licking at her face. "Hey,hey stop it! My Make Up was expensive, Croissant!", she grinned and walked outside with Chris.

When the snowhaired Rocker asked her she just shrugged. "I told him that he won't be alone anymore.", she smiled at Chris. "Oh and about the Jellyhead you see..."
"CHRIIIIIIIIS!" The excited voice of Finella Edelstein called through the shelters making the dogs howl and bark in return.
"Kruzetirkn no amoi! Finella Edelstein, can you keep it down for once!", Veronika hissed before her face lightened up again, holding Croissant close.
Finella came with a smaller dog, maybe the size of a labrador who anxiously tried to lick Chris hands.
"Heh, I think she likes you.", Veronika smiled and Finella nodded. "This is Fenrir. She was staying with an old lady who could'nt care for her anymore. So she had lived a nice life, but she misses the old woman dearly, if we take her we have to promise to visit her once a week so she can see Fenrir.", Finella said and the mutt barked friendly. Veronika nodded. "I think this is the right one, Jellyhead.", she said and turned around. "Well, I will see to get Croissants papers. It was nice meeting you two. Finella, Moni misses you, you should visit some time and Chris...", she said and opened her smartphone before showing her the picture of a jellyfish. She grinned and before Chris could react she had her forehead kissed.
"I know it will take time, I know it will be hard. But I am ready for it.", Veronika whispered in her ear and Finella chuckled.
Then the Queen of Hearts was out the door...
"Chris and Veri...sitting one a treee...", Finella started and cackled amused.

Chris was going to leave, let Veronika and Champagne have a moment alone. And to allow her eternal rival the chance to keep whatever shred or shreds of her image she wanted. But the taller woman grabbed her as she moved to leave, pulling her in and burying her crying face into her snowy locks. While at first she was surprised, just letting Veronika cry her tears, the rocker soon wrapped her arms around the Franco-Austrian and her new puppy. She'd stay for her, just be there for a woman she still hadn't forgiven.

They left after a few moments, Croissant and Champagne getting familiar with one another after the French bulldog made sure his human was fine. It seemed everything ended up well for her rival-friend, and Chris just smiled, ready to ask about the new nickname before her sister barked loudly and sent the shelter into a tizzy. "That answers where she is, I guess." She turned towards the fast approaching Hellraiser. The rocker looked down at the puppy in Fin's arms, watching the little girl lick at her hands when she went to pet her. It kinda tickled and made her giggle a bit. "Fenrir, hm?Good name. Though I doubt this little girl could hardly swallow an entire world."

Chris looked down at the two dogs she had gotten to know today. The two had been perfect angels, and really she had enjoyed their company more than she ever thought. She really was just overly anxious about animals, she guessed. Chris didn't think she'd enjoy just sitting around and petting some dogs as much as she did. Though maybe the kind company helped? Her eyes trailed back to the blond, smiling as she began her farewells.

The rocker looked at the image, goffing and putting her hands on her ribbon thin tails. She opened her mouth to protest, but froze when Veronika took the opening to kiss her forehead. And soon the woman left, leaving a Fin to tease at a blushing Chris. "U-uh, yeah.... Wait, no! Oi! Fin!" She quickly turned back to her partner, gritting her teeth. "No teasing like that, or we're going home right now."

She reached over after her words, wanting to hold the little dog for a bit. "...I hope you know where we can find this old woman, by the way..." She mumbled, looking down at the small girl. "Hi there, girl. Um... Welcome.. Welcome to Moonrock."
