Everyone can count the seconds here. Standing over her cornered opponent, the otherwise short Karla leveraged her stance to push on Risako’s throat, squeezing and tensing as she tried to suffocate the match away from her. It served to get a sense of quiet. Brutal, simple and with Karla’s smug look on display, staring people down with a general sneer. Her confidence soared. They didn’t look to have anything more to give than to curse, struggle and eventually fall.

Until a skull hit her belly. Her gut pulled into knots It rattled the skin like a rock into a pound, and she wheezed out her lungs. Her face went wide, with spittle tossed. Karla hunched, collapsed and practically laid over Risako’s collar, heaving and dazed with her mouth to the top turnbuckle pad, wincing and hissing through clenched teeth, trying to buy back her strength.

The headbutt worked. Risako slammed her head right onto Karla's belly, knocking the wind out of her lungs. Seeing this opportunity, Risako would not waste her time as she would bring her hands up onto the sides of Karla's body, and forcing herself to move, Risako would try to hoist the redhead up after pushing her away from the corner before sending her down onto the mat with an impromptu spinebuster! Still, Risako herself was left in quite a battered state that regardless of whether the move succeeded or failed, she would fall down to the mat after leaving the corner.

Having the air popped from her body had a potent and almost instant feeling of exhaustion, slumped and picking up the pieces of her wind, slowly refilling as Risako reached, grabbed her waist and the worry sank in with serrated teeth. “H-Huh??” And as she came from the corner, her expression went into shock, being slammed too fast to muster another protest. “NN-TEH!” Whatever reserve of breath spat out. She dug in her elbows, bridging her spine off the canvas to hold it -- her expression twisted and tight until she melted back into the canvas. It left her spine feeling like a game of scrabble turned face down, with sparks of pain everywhere from the muscle to bone, rendering her mildly stiff. And very dazed.
