Athena Wonder vs. Wicke Sykes - Apex Qualifier Match

Having released Wicke from the Romero Special, albeit in a rough manner, Athena picked herself up as she looked at her downed opponent. It was clear that her opponent was affected quite greatly by the hold, and she could tell that at the moment, the one who had the upper hand was Athena. Making her way to Wicke's side, she bent down as she reached to her head as she heard her words.

"It depends. Have you?"

Athena replied to Wicke's words as she would forcefully pull Wicke up onto her knees, making sure to make it look dramatic for all to see. Standing before her opponent, Athena raised her free hand, getting the crowd pumped up before she threw a knee right at the side of her face, looking to hurt her opponent some more before she could come up with something more devastating.

While having the capacity to speak and gaze at the opposition, Wicke couldn't immediately muster a form of counterattack due to her scorching body as a result of Athena's combination of drops and holds. To make matters more concerning for the purplette, the battle wouldn't take a symmetrical approach as the superheroine prepared an ambush.

Wicke didn't have to deal with the task of balancing herself, but that came at the cost of being used as a subject for Athena's literal standing ovation. This followed by the curvy woman being left unable to avoid further harm. "Ahhhhhhh!" A hardened sharp spear cutting into her cheek, forcing Wicke to plummet on her side once more, seemingly setting up for the killer blow.

Hitting Wicke's face with her knee, Athena stood over her downed opponent as the crowd popped. The veteran raised an arm, getting the crowd to cheer some more before she looked at the downed Wicke, thinking her next course of actions.

She knew that a knee strike to the face wasn't exactly a match ender, but Athena thought that she might as well check out whether it was enough to net her a win. Making sure that Wicke was on her back, Athena would place herself on top of her, lifting one of her legs for a pin.

"ONE!"

While Wicke was known for her stamina and tenacity, it wasn't full proof if she met someone who had the freedom to unleash power beyond the purplette's league. Strangely enough the match state wouldn't transition into another grand gesture from Athena, thus Wicke was permitted to allow the knee strike settle and regain a temporary breathing rhythm.

This would be halted by a slight nudge and he impending weight of the blonde, seemingly confident she didn't need to exert further to earn her next win.

"2!"

Wicke wasn't so keen or numb enough to cooperate with this idea, so immediately after the second count Wicke used her free leg to kick out of the pin and nudge Athena away. Yet the researcher still remained on their back. "Have you become enfeeble or idle..." Addressing Athena's actions once again as if beckoning her to finish their opposition properly.

With the kick out, the match would continue, and Athena looked at Wicke as she listened to her words. "Well, if you're asking for a proper send-off, I'm more than fine with it." Athena said as she would rise up after grabbing Wicke, pulling her up with her, getting her on her knees.

Standing before the other woman, Athena would then shove her head between her thighs, planning to execute a big move on her. Breathing out, Athena would make sure to wrap her arms around Wicke's waist as she planned to hoist her up onto her shoulders before sending her down onto the mat with a powerbomb.

Once again her opponent planned to wrap things up, but will it be enough to avoid Wicke's disapproval properly. Temporarily stranded like a turned tortoise, the purplette was forced to kneeling stance by her adversary, only responding with a slight shuffle of hands and short breaths. As soon as those thighs clamped around the researcher's throat, her cheeks quickly burned up due to the airflow and awareness how risky the next phase was.

"AAHHHHH..." Bellowing out as she was effortlessly lifted on top of the purplette's shoulders. Air flowing freely into her hairdo, but Wicke's lower body started to feel more free as time passed along with an urge to surpass all odds. "Quite enough..." She uttered before thrusting her hips in such a manner to offset Athena's balance, hopefully reversing the powerbomb so the superheroine would crash down and find themselves in a schoolgirl pin.

Athena was ready to bring Wicke down with a powerbomb, but Wicke managed to offset her balance by thrusting her hips to the side, causing Athena to lose her balance and fell down onto the mat, crashing down with Wicke ending up in a schoolgirl pin!

The referee quickly came over and started counting, and Athena was confused from what was happening. She was unable to process what just happened to her, so she was unable to kick out right away as the referee counted up to one.

"ONE!"

A sudden reversal led to Wicke sinking her teeth in through a sudden drop, thighs pressed against the superheroine's throat.. Those not overwhelmed by shock wondered if the purplette could take comfort in possibly sneaking a win while using Athena's face in a cushion. However Wicke possessed an expression of somebody lost in thought as if calculating a future event. It has been quite a while since this powerhouse took any damage.

Just as the referee was about to slap the mat a second time, the curvy wrestler would suddenly drop onto her side with thighs still encircled around Athena's neck. Even with shock, she deduced that it wouldn't have bought enough time for a surprise three count. Thus with the pin broken, Wicke would try to keep the blonde at bay through a sideheadscissors!

Realizing the position she was in, Athena was ready to kick out before the count of two, but Wicke surprised her by suddenly breaking the pin and dropping to the side as she transitioned into a side headscissor instead! The sudden change left Athena stumped, and she was left trapped with her head between those plump thighs of her opponent!

"NNGHHHH!!"

Athena would bring her hands onto Wicke's thighs, planning to pry them off her head. At the same time, she would begin struggling, hoping to roll herself to the side to escape the side headscissor. As she was trapped, she stomped her feet on the mat, and at the same time, the cameramen decided to focus on her bodacious body for everyone to gawk on.

Acting ahead of the curve, she was rewarded by neutralising the blonde for an extended period. However she couldn't keep her opponent in the shadows forever as the only now emerging purplette struggled to keep the submission applied, even with legs slowly crossing together. Wicke didn't possess the optimal leverage laying on her side, but it would be hazardous to adjust positions so abruptly.

She paid attention to the heroine's movements carefully and thought of letting Athena perform half the work. Just as the blonde started rotating, Wicke would wait approximately two seconds before playing into the motion. Thus with a slight sway, she tried to transition into a figure-four headscissors now that their bodies were more aligned and about to turn 180 degrees. Just as they were about become parallel to the canvas, Wicke tried to assert leverage by thrusting her hips forward, possibly forcing the blonde's face to collide against the mat for a scissor stomp!
