Warriors of Steel: Hikari Nakano vs Haganehime

As they rolled out of the ring Hikari mentally braced herself as they collided with the floor. Grunting a bit as she too took some damage from the fall Hikari would roll a bit away from the brunette, gasping and coughing as she rubbed her neck. Slowly pushing herself up to her feet she would glare down at her opponet. Anger and competitive drive flooding her system as she stepped forward, bending down and grabbing her hair, pulling her up to her feet and pushing her against ring apron. If successful Hikari would grit her teeth and pulled her arm back before swinging it around in order to smash her forearm right into Himeko’s chest for a sharp forearm smash!

"Uhn..." Himeko was slow to recover, still dazed from the unexpected fall as her body throbbed with pain. "Ghn..." Whether strategy or dumb luck, that fall took the wind out of the Princess. She groaned, nursing her sore side as she slowly got to her knees. Sonnuva- That was a harder hit that she was expecting, a rougher tactic from her opponent as well. And worse still, Hikari seemed to be in a better state than the Princess. After finally getting her bearings together Himeko felt a sudden pang at her head.

"Ah-" She winced, forced to her feet and seeing Hikari's sharp glare. And Himeko's eyes narrowed into slits in turn, refusing to coward or show weakness even now. Though she ddidn't have long to gaze, quickly shoved right against the apron with a rough grunt with little else to think on before getting immediately slammed with Hikari's forearm. "Graah!" It was probably the first bit of honest pain and damage the Princess had shown in the fight, her chest now throbbing underneath her kimono. Still, despite that pain, she wouldn't be outdone. She wouldn't let this girl get a hit without taking one in turn. And so with her eyes still locked and narrowed on Hikari, Himeko shot her arm forward for a hard punch aimed right for the girl's stomach as payback.

Hikari panted a bit as her arm collided with Himeko’s chest, illiciting a loud cry of pain from Himeko. The sound bringing a twisted bit of satisfaction to Hikari making her smile ever so slightly as a response. But Himeko wasn’t done yet just because she got a cry of pain from the girl, didn’t mean Himeko wasn’t gonna try and fight back once more. Before she could do anything else Hikari had suffered a blow to the gut making her gasp and double over as she was forced back a few steps.

Dry heaving a bit she looked up with a fierce glare at Himeko between her hair, refusing to stat down or yield in anyway to the other girl. For a brief moment her anger and impulse took over, prompting Hikari to run forward and leap up, attempt to crash down on Himeko’s body, pushing her back against the aprong as her arm came down on the girl’s shoulder!

If successful she would try to grab hold of her opponet’s hair and arm before pivoting on her foot in a effort to try and whip Himeko from the apron towards the barricade! It wasn’t a tactical move. Not at all. No, Hikari right now was just focused on fighting Himeko and nothing else. And it just so happened that the outside of the ring was the best place to do it.

"Heh," It was Himeko's turn to take satisfaction in her blow now, watching Hikari gasp and struggle to breathe. A nice bit of vengeance for that little arm bash of hers. She gave a satisfied grin at Hikari's glare, but the satisfaction didn't last for long. Now angered by the damage she took, Hikari charged and jumped right at Himeko. Shit- There was little time to brace for it. A hit she could take and push it back, but Hikari came in hot.

"Rgh!" She hit the apron hard, her back slamming into the edge of the apron and rocking the bones underneath and she winced buckled to keep on her feet. But Hikari was far from done, snatching up her hair and throwing right into the bars and barricade with a vengeful fury.

"Raagh!" And hitting those metal bars was a lot worse than just the apron. The Princess fell atop the barricade, a few members of the crowd rushing out of the way, a few murmuring and asking if Himeko was alright. But Himeko only huffed, gritting her teeth.

Hikari's message was clear. She didn't want to grapple, wrestle, or trade blows. No, when Himeko refused to cry out and forced Hikari to get ruthless for signs of pain this became a fight. And Himeko would meet her there. Her eyes deadened, shooting right up after the crash with a heavy scowl. Alright. Bring it. She didn't wait, she rushed forward with her fist primed and ready to slam right into the Scion's jaw with reckless abandon. Forget the finesse. Forget form and practice. This girl was going down hard and bloodied.

As she threw the girl across the floor and into the barricade Hikari was only partially aware of what was happening around her. The crowd’s roar of cheers and boos, the ref yelling at herself and Himeko to get back in the ring, tbe count already makkng it to five. But none of that mattered. All that mattered was squashing her opponet under her once and for all.

Aeeing Himeko’s seething eyes lock with hers again only made Hikari double down on thus thought process as she gritted her teeth. Breaking out into a run at the same time as her opponet Hikari growled as she neared the princess of steel.

”Haghhhhhh!” She roared out a warcry as she crashed her body into Himeko’s, her fists lashing about on either side of her to strike at her opponet’s face, all while bracing herself to take some punches herself. The two would end up on the ground, Hikari had no idea wherher she was top of not, all that she cared about was punching and taking punches. All semblance of this as a wrestling match now out the window as Hikari and Hikeko got into a all out slug fest!

Himeko's fist met flesh, but Hikari was far from accepting of taking a punch without giving on in turn. She shot her own fist right into Himeko's jaw, sending the girl's head cracking back with a mix of a low groan and angry growl before reeling her fist back for another punch.

And another.

And another.

And another.

It was a brawl now. Both girls had enough of playing by the rules of a fair and honest match. Himeko was done trying to play nice with this damn brat, done with playing to the rules of a 'fair' fight, and especially done with seeing that wild and vengeful look in Hikari's eye now.

"Nraaaaaah!" Himeko howled out her own defiant cry in response, meeting Hikari blow for blow as they both went to the ground. The Princess could feel her skull get rocked from each hit, feel the bruises of her face grow each time the two traded blows, and sense a few cuts starting to form where skin and knuckle started to break. It was a painful, harsh experience, but a sensation she knew well from touring the rough streets of Tokyo. And it only fueled her to keep punching, keep striking, and keep hurting this girl.

This wasn't a match anymore. It stopped being one when they left the ring. Now it was a battle of wills, and Himeko was set in her mind to win it. Even as the official above them got to the tenth count Himeko kept punching. Go down!

Hikari glared at Himeko all throughout their tussle on the ground. Fists were flying with absolute fury, teeth gritted, the sound of impact as fist met flesh, blood was beginning to let. Everything around Hikari was fading as these things took precedence in her mind. Something about Himeko seemed to… cause some nerve within Hikari to snap. All she could think about right now was completley and utterly breaking the girl before her.

However being so caught up in her brawl with Himeko, she didn’t realize how far into the count the ref bad gotten. Or even that it had ended. All she could think about was hitting Himeko until the brunette couldn’t stand. It was an impulse. One that wouldn’t be broken until security had rushed the ring side swarming both girls.

A pair of burly men for each girl for a total of four two had grabbed Hikari by the arm pits and were attempting to yank her off Himeko while the other two attempted to drag the priness of steel the opposite direction. ”Gah! Lemme go! I need to finish this!” Hikari yelled in resistance as she was pulled, trying to break free while flailing her legs about to try and catch Himeko with a parting kick at least.

Himeko refused to stop, refused to slow down, and utterly refused to back off from the rapid exchange of blows. Like thugs in an alleyway the two continued swinging at each other. This girl wasn't just trying to win a fist fight, she was out for blood. It only took two more punches for Himeko's topknot to come apart and send her hair in a more natural, wild state as the punches continued to fly. All the while she sent her own icy glare back at Hikari, silently conveying her contempt for the girl.

She was knocking this girl out, there was no two ways about it. This girl needed a humility that only the cold, hard ground and a hot, sharp fist could give someone. And the Princess was dead set on reward Hikari's tenacity with brutality. She was going to crack this girl's skull wide ope-

"!!!" Some caught her from behind. She had little time to react. Her mind and vision were so focused on bloodying Hikari's face that the sudden pull at her body had her flinch. Her first thought was Nanase trying to keep her from destroying this girl. But... no, it was some security guard, and the sharp strike at her shin brought her attention back to Hikari as she got the last word in their silent arguement. And that enraged the Princess more than anything.

No, this technical loss due to a damn timer was honestly more stinging. And unlike Hikari, Himeko had a clear view of the annoyed and disgruntled referee, giving an acidic glare as she was forcibly dragged off. "GET OFF!" It was a cold and loud order, one that echoed through the arena, but only made the guards pause for a split second. They still dragged her away, still separated her and Hikari as if children on a playground. It was infuriating. Neither her or Hikari were done yet. The spiteful look on Hikari's face made it clear a no contest wasn't her plan. No... this wasn't over. Not by a long shot. There would be hell to pay. Her eyes met Hikari, bellowing out the last bit of dialouge she could have with the fellow warrior. "We're not done, Nakano!" She called out. "This shit's FAR from over! You better be backstage ready to finish what we started!!" They were the last words that she could voice before finally be dragged off the ramp in the separate room.

This humiliation would be paid back tenfold.
