...Was she really doing this?
Marzia gulped, looking from backstage at the scene going on in the ring. When Gail had taken her in, she didn't know what her motives were, but she was, if nothing else, curious about what she could offer her. When Gail offered to train her, despite the two of them having little prior exposure to one another besides facing each other in a match, Marzia was confused, but still willing to work with the green-haired heel in the hopes it would be to her benefit. Even when Gail proved to have motives Marzia couldn't agree on, she could at least appreciate the advice she was receiving.
But now, it had gotten to the point where Gail had asked her to step in as her insurance policy for this match, and to act on her behalf in case she lost. And with the sound of the bell...Gail had indeed lost. That was her cue.
Marzia had been hoping Gail would end up winning and that her services wouldn't be needed, but now it was clear that wasn't the case. She bit her lip anxiously as she looked around. What was she going to do? She considered bailing out and running for the door, so that she wouldn't have to deal with all this. The only alternative was...cheating. And cheating was wrong.
...or, was it cheating? After all, the match was already over, and no one said she couldn't attack Gail's opponent after the fact...
She knew there was something off about this. Something not quite right. Yet, at the same time, Marzia couldn't turn back now. Gail had shown her she was willing to hold her word when it came to training her and helping her make strides in her career. Her skills and her confidence had indeed been improving. She figured she could trust her now...and that meant paying her back.
Drawing in a deep breath, Marzia charged the door, running down the rope to the ring. Before Ashley would rise, Marzia was already charging the ring, where she aimed to dive through the ropes and crash down on top of her with a splash! And of course, it if hit, she'd have plenty more in store!
