Astrid Ostberg [D] vs. Susana Kin

Astrid was still starting to collect herself, panting as she tried to catch the breath back in her lungs. Slowly she began to rise to a sitting position, and she raised her hands to clear the sweat away from her brow...but that wouldn't do her much good, because while Astrid was getting back up, Sue was running from rope to rope to build her momentum, so when Astrid was just about ready to right herself, down she went again as Sue's leg connected with a smack, sending her straight back down.

"One!"

As Sue got on top of Astrid to go for a pin, the Norwegian groaned under her breath, still groggy. It was bad enough taking one hit, but two in such quick succession was doing a good job of slowing her down and sapping her strength. Nevertheless, as soon as Astrid heard the ref girl's voice, it was almost crystal-clear in her head, restoring her to her full attention. She knew what she had to do, and that was to fight on. She couldn't let the match end like this - it was just starting to get interesting! Gritting her teeth and tensing the muscles in her arms, Astrid kicked out of the pin attempt before the count of two, then went to roll backwards and get to her feet.

"Oh no," she said, "I'm not going out that easily!"

Sue would sit up after her opponent had broken out of the cover. She would bit her lips. Only a one count? Okay this woman was tough… seems like it would take much more for the blond woman to keep her opponent down for the final count. With much more. The blond would push herself off the mat regaining a standing position to turn around seeing her opponent trying to do the same. Just with the difference that the Japanese woman was way faster, giving her a clear advantage here. She would step right over her opponent and warp her arms around her waist as tight as she could while leaning forwards. Then sue would bend backwards trying to stand tall again slowly pulling her opponent upwards alongside her. She would try to force her opponent to stand right in front of her before trying to lift her up from the ground a bit, so Astrid’s legs would lose the contact to the ground.

Then sue would throw herself backwards as hard as she could, trying to pull the body of her opponent right over her own body, going for a german suplex without releasing her opponent in the processes so she would hit the neck and shoulders of her foe onto the ground as hard as she could while holding on to her. Directly following to this sue would try to roll over the mat with her opponent in her arm still trying ot regain a kneeing position before pulling both of them back to their feet. Only to suplex her opponent in the same way again, not letting go of her and pulling her up once again for a thried big suplex she sue now would throw her opponent as far as she could.

Astrid underestimated her opponent's speed, and the brief moment the two women broke apart wouldn't be long enough for her to get back up to her feet and ready herself before Susana rushed back at her and threw her arms around her waist. The Norwegian's eyes went wide as she could only ponder what it was Sue had in store for her - could it be that she was just as skilled in breaking her opponents with bear hugs and raw pressure as Astrid herself? She winced, her teeth clenching with breathless anticipation as Susana scooped her up, bringing her to her full height, and then went a step beyond to lift her off her feet.

But rather than lock in the hold, Susana threw Astrid back over her shoulders, sending her head slamming into the mat. Dazed by the throbbing in her head, the Nordic wrestler was left reeling, trying to stop the arena around her from spinning. She shifted her weight, going to rise to her knees...but no! Susana didn't stop there, slamming her back for another suplex...and another! This last one threw Astrid straight for the ropes, and, already too shaken to put up much resistance, she went flying right into them, her back stretching them a fair distance on impact. It almost looked as though they would snap against the force, but still they held firm. Soon, they would drop Astrid face-first onto the mat, leaving her dizzied. Slowly emerging from her groggy state, Astrid began to reach up and grab for the ropes, using them as handholds to try and pull herself to her feet, one by one, as she struggled to keep her balance from giving out under her.

Sue would roll onto her belly before coming right back to her feet to seeing how her opponent was trying to regain a standing position again. Man it took really a lot to keep her down for good. The blond would bit her lips while slowly rising up again, seeing how close her opponent was to the ropes, that might be a good position for her, maybe to set up another big move. The blond needed to only think for a short moment before she would rush forwards trying to close in the distance to her opponent as fast as she could. When she was getting closer she would pull up her knee as high as she could. She would try to smash her knee into the chest of her opponent to make her stumble backwards into the ropes.

Astrid didn't have much feeling in her legs, and she was starting to pant, her breaths labored. This was definitely pushing the limits of what she was capable of, and she nearly slipped in her attempts to climb back up, but managed to catch herself, using the ropes for an added brace. Hearing footsteps behind her, Astrid went tense, and she knew she would have to act quickly. She turned around to face Susana, readying herself...

...but all for naught, as after the three blows she had taken Astrid could barely make out how close Susana was, let alone what direction she was coming from when the whole room was spinning. She let out a yelp, taken by surprise before the blow even landed, but when it did, it wasn't much better. Sue's knee came straight up and slammed into Astrid's chest, causing her to cry out in pain as her legs collapsed from under her and she fell, landing hard on her rear and shaking the canvas as her weight came crashing down, her back slumped against the ropes.

Sue would stumble backwards after she bounced away from the body of her opponent. She would need a moment until she would get a stable stand again. Then she would look forwards with her eyes locked onto her opponent for a few moments. Astrid was tangled up in the ropes right now, with no way to go right now. This was the perfect chance for Sue. The blond woman would breathe out deeply trying to focus on what would come next. Maybe she had a chance to end this match early. She would try to calm her thoughts in her head before she would move forwards again closing in the distance to her opponent onto the prefect level before she would start to spin around.

After she was almost done with the fast spin she would pull up her leg in the last moment. She would swing her leg high trying to smash it right into the side of her opponent with all she got going for her finisher the spinning high kick, that could knock out cold some of the best fighters.
If the kick would connect with Astrid Sue wouldn´t waste much time pulling her foe off the ropes and throwing her down going for a cover, hocking in one of her opponents legs.

Astrid might've had good enough luck resisting Sue's attempts to keep her down thus far, but after taking three German suplexes in quick succession, her head was swimming and she was groggy. Her energy was starting to leave her, and fast. So when she ended up leaning against the ropes, she found herself at her opponent's mercy, not putting up much of a resistance.

As she looked up to see Susana closing in on her, Astrid knew she was going to have to do something. The crowd went wild as Sue began to spin in place, building up momentum towards her finisher in a display they all knew and recognized well. Astrid could already tell what Sue was planning from their reaction, and she knew it wouldn't be good for her. She frantically started to try and pull herself free, yanking her arms against the ropes to disentangle herself, but in the heat of the moment, caught up in the roar and energy coming from the crowd, Astrid couldn't do herself much good. And Susana was coming in close - with how fast the Norsewoman knew her opponent was, she knew she only had so much time.

Finally, Astrid decided that she would do the one thing she could do. Not bothering to waste time on getting herself free, she ducked down at the last second, hoping that it would be enough to let Susana's foot pass by over her head. Then, while the girl was distracted and coming off the momentum of her finishing strike, Astrid would try again to free herself.

Sue´s foot was flying through the air with so much momentum that, when her opponent ducked down under it she wasn´t able to stop it in time and was spinning around one whole time. She would stumble around for a moment trying to catch her balance again before she would get a solid stand. This wasn´t good. Her opponent just bough herself some time, not too much but some time at all.
When Sue was turning right back around she would see that Astrid was already free from the ropes. Sue would try to jump at her out of panic and push her backwards against the ropes.

It turned out Astrid's move of ducking under the oncoming kick proved to work well for her, as in reacting to the miss, Susana had left her open with enough time for Astrid to free herself. The Norwegian finally wrestled her way out of the ropes, going to straighten herself up to her feet so that she could meet Sue head-on.

Seeing Astrid free herself, Susana was shaken off her game. Astrid wasn't going for psychological warfare, but she'd take it all the same. When the Japanese woman lunged for her, Astrid could see that she was acting out of reflex, so she likely wouldn't be fully prepared for a counterattack. So Astrid moved to wrap her arms around Sue's waist as she approached, with which she would try to suplex her over the ropes.

Sue was jumping right into the open arms of Astrid. The blond Asian woman would scream out in shock for a moment when she felt how these strong arms were warped around her midsection and would squeeze her for a bit. She knew that this was bad, when Astrid was about to take control back in this match. Sue would struggle for a short moment before she would feel how the other woman was dragging her though the air in one fast spinning movement. Now everything was too late. Sue was thrown through the air and she would fly right over the top rope. Unable to catch herself somehow she would fall right back down crashing first onto the apron. A lot scream would come out of her lungs while she was hitting the edge of the ring, before bouncing off the apron and fall the rest down onto the floor. When she hit the hard and cold floor she would scream out once again this time way louder before rolling over the floor holding her side.
