Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey could have dealt without that splash, or pretty much any other move that preceded it. She could have done without the match in general. However, Kiernan was in this position and on her side before being shoved over onto her back again. Scarlett was going for a pin. It would have been very easy for Casey to just lay there and allow herself to be pinned. Put an end to the match as a whole. Go backstage and then leave. Very easy. And even more easy after hearing Scarlett's quip.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"TH--"
Kiernan would slowly pull her shoulder off the mat with no urgency, letting out a loud whine. She had effectively kicked out with no burst or energy or anything--just slowly wedging her shoulder off the mat to kick out with the least amount of effort possible. She pouted, keeping her shoulder off the mat as Scarlett still laid over her. "I don't wanna..." muttered Casey, making no further effort to act after her lazy kick out.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Scarlett could almost taste the victory. Now that she had been able to push Casey against a metaphorical corner the redhead was pretty confident in her ability to make the lazy wrestler just give up and take the three count, but just as Scarlett thought the match was over her blonde rival raised a shoulder just before the three count. What added even more insult to injury was the fact that Casey’s move wasn’t a desperate flailing of her body, it was a slow and lukewarm thing, as if it costed Casey no effort to do so.
Huffing in frustration, Scarlett let Casey go. Getting back on her feet, the redhead realized her rival didn’t want to do much more besides the escape, so it would be up to her again to dictate the rhythm. With a quick move the redhead started forcing her rival back on her feet. “You are starting to be quite bothersome you know?” Scarlett wanted now to end things and to do so she would need to get some more oomph to her moves so Casey was actually defeated. In order to do so Scarlett would start by Irish whipping her rival against a corner, quickly following her so she could crush her against the turnbuckle in a high impact and a little reckless in an easily counterable move.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey cringed as the referee announced the two count. Terrible. What an awful number. A three to signify the the end of the match... and yet Casey wasn't about to let it end with a whimper like that. A whimper such as the one she let out when Scarlett began pulling her up to her feet. She winced, looking at Blaze as she called her bothersome. And Kiernan only had a simple reply to that accusation. "...Just starting?" She was very aware of what a pain in the ass she was, and Scarlett was really feeling the majority of that now in this match.
Another Irish Whip came, sending Casey flying towards the nearest corner. She could hear Blaze speeding right behind her. She was about to get squashed by her again, and she didn't like it much the first time. Certainly, she wouldn't like it much more the second time. As she got close, Kiernan leaped up, grabbing hold of the top ropes. She cleared Scarlett entirely, dropping down and landing behind her with a large huff of air. Then she grabbed her around the waist, pulling her backwards.
Then the lazy wrestler would do something decidedly not-lazy as she grabbed Scarlett around the back of her head in a headlock. She would then attempt to go for something impressive, as she leaped up, kicking off the middle rope, top turnbuckle pad, and top rope before attempting to plant Scarlett Blaze into the mat with a Tornado Bulldog, aiming to smash her face first with the dizzying maneuver!

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
With her getting more confidence in herself throughout the match, Scarlett started going for more risky moves and for more complex strategies, but that was going to just turn against the woman. When Casey escaped a pin just after the two count, the redhead was feeling a little frustrated about how despite her efforts it looked like that woman wouldn’t go down no matter her lack of motivation. That was some stingy sensation for Scarlett and it made her go for a rushed and reckless move, one that could easily be countered by an agile and proficient rival, but Casey wasn’t just going to do that.
Right?
With some movements that Scarlett would have never expected of her rival, Casey not only evaded the move in an incredibly agile and showy fashion, she also got on the redhead’s back and went again in a display of ability to throw Scarlett face first against the mat in a Tornado Bulldog that got an unanimous cheer from the crowd. “Aaagh!!!” Unluckily for her, impacting with her face against the canvas was the last thing Scarlett needed. It made her feel dizzy and weak. She would just cup her face with her hands, unable to react for some time. She needed to crawl towards the ropes to get on her feet, but it would take her some precious time that her rival could use to capitalize on her situation.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
The Tornado Bulldog had sent Scarlett to the mat hard, with Casey landing in a sitting position beside her. Kiernan hugged a sigh, rocking her head back. That sucked. Doing the move, obviously. Who would want to do an actual move in an actual wrestling match? But it did stop her from being hurt by her ambitious rookie opponent. Her mouth twisted to the side as she considered her position, taking a breather to get over that pain that had been delivered to her so far. She deserved the breather after hitting a single move, thought Casey.
As Scarlett started to try crawling away, however, without even looking at her, Casey grabbed hold of her shoulder, halting that crawl. Then, she gave a firm pat on Blaze's shoulder, giving a knowing nod. "I know. This sucks. But I can't really trust you right now. So. I think I need to beat your ass," stated Casey very matter-of-factly before letting out a sigh. It was a disappointing realization, knowing now she would have to have to beat up her opponent. A tragedy, really.
So Kiernan would then roll over onto her knees and grab hold of Scarlett, giving her a hard yank to bring her to her feet. And then Casey would grab one arm, wrap it over Blaze's neck, then reach and grab hold of her opponent's other arm, yanking it in the other direction as she slipped behind her. And then she would abruptly drop them both down, attempting to nail a Straight Jacket Drop on her opponent in an effort to further rattle her!

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
After such a good streak of moves it felt really bad for Scarlett to be back again on the receiving end of hits. The Tornado Bulldog had been much more than a very effective move in getting Scarlett dazed and unable to move, it had been a way to shift the crowd’s support once again, flying from Scarlett’s side to Casey’s. Despite how hesitant the interviewer was of making a decent show she was involuntarily putting up a good one now even if her attitude hadn’t changed a little all along.
When Scarlett was lying on the mat while in pain Casey got closer to her and stated how that surely sucked for her. And Casey was right but only in part. Yes, Scarlett thought that the latest development in the match sucked, but only because it meant that she was losing again. For all the pain she was feeling, there was a pivotal difference between the two of them and it was the fact that Scarlett welcomed that pain because it meant she was following her dream of becoming a wrestler. Where it was all a bummer and a bother for Casey, Scarlett was willing to walk the distance.
None of those thoughts mattered when Casey got a hold on Scarlett and set her up before dropping on the mat in a straightjacket drop. “Auuuugh!”, wailed Scarlett in pain as she was starting to feel the pain adding up and preventing her from moving. She needed some rest, just a little time to compose herself and regain her footing, but the match had been going for some time now and her reserves were low.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Casey Kiernan locked in that straight jacket hold, then dropped down with Scarlet, slamming her into the mat. She would then stay sitting, heaving a big sigh. She propped a leg up and then rested her elbow on it, and her head in her hands as she looked down at Scarlett. "I promise, I enjoyed that far less than you did," stated Casey about performing that move on her foe. In a way, it could be argued that it was the case despite the lazy interviewer being the one not taking the move.
But, this would only be the start. Casey knew she certainly couldn't end the match like that. "Anyway... I'm going to do another move to you, soooo... I guess you'll need to deal with that," continued Kiernan, giving a few pats on her hurting opponent's shoulder. Then, she would grab hold of her and lift her up as she stood with her. This time, she would try another move to target that head, busting out a signature move from her arsenal.
Lifting Scarlett Blaze up for a suplex, Casey would instead hold her opponent up and begin to rapidly spin in place. Then, she would attempt to drop Scarlett directly down into the mat onto her head, in a Spinning Brainbuster that when asked what to call this maneuver, Kiernan could only come up with a singular description. She named it Exciting Move, and it would surely be as damaging as it was thrilling were she to connect!

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
After landing in a hard impact against the mat Scarlett could feel whatever strength she had remaining slipping away. The match had been going for some time and Scarlett had been on both sides of strikes, it had been quite a test of endurance so far but it was starting to look like the redhead was too tired to keep going. Despite her mind racing at high speed and telling her that she had to get up after the last hit her body just wouldn’t respond to those orders, her reactions being lukewarm and slow in nature.
Against all that Scarlett had come to think of her rival, Casey was going to capitalize on that situation and keep going with the barrage of hits. No matter if that was a result of the blonde’s actual intentions or she was doing it against her will, there was no way around it: Casey had got the match under control for some time now and it didn’t look like that situation was going to change.
Still dazed from the last impact, Scarlett couldn’t do much more than groaning in protest as she was held up. Casey’s spinning added some dizziness to the redhead who was feeling more and more disoriented before her predicament came to a high point with a brainbuster that got Scarlett unable to do anything else, looking almost defeated as she was desperatedly clinging to whatever hope she had left.

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
With a wild spin and her opponent held up high, Casey Kiernan was indeed prepping for a dangerous drop. The Exciting Move landed, dropping Scarlett Blaze directly onto her head! The crowd cheered for the move that was, in fact, as exciting as described and with a loud sigh, Kiernan sat back up, looking around impassively at the audience, then over to her downed opponent.
"So uh, I think you're pretty much done. Which obviously sucks for you, but I need to seal this, because if you kick out, then I'm going to have to actually wrestle again and I just don't want to get my hopes up," explained Casey Kiernan to her nearly unconscious opponent. She didn't exactly enjoy any part of this, but the crowd rallying behind her did almost, deep deep deep down, give her a little bit of an adrenaline pumping feeling.
Ah, what the heck. Give them one last move. So that way they can't ask for one more either.
So the lazy interviewer grabbed hold of Scarlett and drug her to her feet. She gave a firm pat on Blaze's shoulder and declared to her, "I just want you to know that at no point of this match I had a good time. And I will be happy when it's over." Very honest words from Casey, but it was almost at the end.
With Scarlett Blaze barely balancing on her feet, Kiernan would then leap into the air, wrap her arms around her body, then fall back with impressive impact! The What's Happenin' hit, the Pay Dirt maneuver smashing Scarlett's skull into the mat. Casey would then roll back before lazily slothing forward and shoving Blaze onto her back. Then, she would roll her eyes up, looking impatient as she tested her back on her opponent's body, hoping for that pinfall and an end to the match!

Re: Casey Kiernan vs. Scarlett Blaze
Unluckily for Scarlett the move called Exciting Move wasn’t as lazy in execution as it was in naming. It was the opposite, the spinning got the redhead all dizzy and unable to brace for impact and when the brainbuster part landed it was like a truck had hit Scarlett, who was now lying on the mat in pain at her rival’s mercy. Despite all her enthusiasm and how she managed to get rid of all her initial hesitance, the redhead was losing again, and this time against a rival who despite looking so reluctant to fight looked like she could get some moves going after all.
Scarlett looked pretty ready for the count: battered and weakened as she lay in the mat, but apparently Casey wanted to make sure she could get the three count before she would get herself to do it, so a new movement was in order. Knowing that Casey got no excitement out of the execution of her finisher didn’t console Scarlett, it could even do the opposite. Little could have known Scarlett earlier that night that she was going to be on the receiving end of the movement called after the interview show she liked.
What’s happening was the final nail in Scarlett’s coffin. The hit against her head was enough to have her almost out like a candle, on the verge of losing herself and obviously not capable of recovering in any way. “ONE!” For the first instants she was rolled into a pinfall attempt the redhead couldn’t even make a move. “TWO!” Only when she heard her impending loss Scarlett got the last remnants of whatever energy she had left and with a groan of protest jerked her body with her best… to no avail as Casey’s pin wouldn’t budge.
