Smart Strikes: Artemis Grace vs Sharon Donnery

Artemis grunted and groaned as she was bent backwards by the small but powerful woman before her. Granted Sharon needed a knee strik to gain this leverage, but she was certainly running with it and making the most out of their current situation. Feeling ber back press against the mat Artemis cursed softly as she thought about how utterly terible this was for her. Before she could do much she felt the positions of hands switch as two of Sharon’s came upon one of hers. ”Oh no you don’t!” Artemis shouted in realization as her arm was pulled already making her groan. But she was no beginner. Reaching over she attempted to grab her trapped hand with her free one before Sharon could wrench it all the way back. Thus protecting herself even a bit from the hold. But that was only if she was successful

Sharon was going to put Artemis into an armbar, but the other woman was quick to react to that as she made use of her other hand to pull her arm away from her, thus stopping Sharon from applying the hold on her. Grunting, Sharon decided to cut her losses by moving herself backwards, but not before landing a kick right at the side of Artemis' body, looking to stun her a bit with a strike so that she could get enough time to come up with her next move.

Gritting her teeth tightly Artemis held onto her hand for dear life, knowing that if Sharon was able to fully lock the hold in then she’d be in a whole world of hurt. Riding out the various pulling of Sharon for the hold, ignoring the slight twangs of pain that did shoot through her arm, and the overwhelming sense of helpelessness from the hold and tried to last as long as she could. Thankfully Sharon soon released the hold freeing Artemis.. but not before Sharon gave Artemis a kick to the side as a parting gift. ”Guh!” Artemis gasped out rolling away, the air driven from her lungs after that blow to her ribs.

Kicking at Artemis' side after releasing her arm, Sharon would then take this opportunity to push herself back up, panting slightly as she brushed aside a few stray stands of green hair off her forehead. She would take this opportunity to close in while Artemis was reeling from the strike to her rib, following after her while she was rolling away.

From there, Sharon would try to grab her, bending down to pull her back up. She was planning to get Artemis onto her feet so that she could drag her towards the nearest corner where she could start working on her body.

”Ngh... agh...” Artemis groaned out in pain from the rib shot. It was a simple enough blow but with enough force it can stun and debilitate anyone in the ring. Trying to push herself up she found herself grabbed by her opponet and shoved towards the corner. “Guah!” Artemis cried out as she hit the corner back first making her groan while leaning back against the corner a bit dazed still.

Dragging Artemis towards the corner, Sharon then slammed her back first into the turnbuckle. From there, Sharon could start working on her opponent's body. Smiling a little, Sharon would begin peppering Artemis' chest with a few knife edge chops, looking to stun her with those multiple strikes, leaving her unable to do anything to attack her. At the same time, Sharon would also think of what to do next, planning to use a much bigger move on her in order to inflict much greater damage.

”Agh!” Artemis shouted out in pain as her back impacted the corner. On instinct she grabbed the top ropes with a grimace. Before she could even start to think of a way out of this bad position Artemis found herself besieged with chop after chop from Sharon right to her chest. “Agh! Ngh! Ugh!” with each blow she grunted out in pain, well past the point of being stunned to the point she was completely vulnerable to whatever Sharon had planned.

Hitting Artemis' chest with knife edge chops, Sharon thought that her opponent was stunned enough that she knew that she would be having a difficult time defending herself against whatever she would throw at her next. So, after she was done chopping her chest, Sharon would move backwards, distancing herself from her opponent and moving herself towards the opposite corner.

From there, Sharon would take a running start, rushing over to where her opponent was so that she could deliver a dropkick aimed to her chest. She knew that if the dropkick managed to hit, Artemis would suffer a massive damage from the attack, leaving her weakened and unable to defend herself against whatever Sharon would do after this.

”Agh!” The grunts of pain from Artemis were practically on loop as the crowd winced in pain with each and every chop Sharon gave her. As a result even when the green haired woman stopped tbe rain of blows, all Artemis could really do was lay against the corner, holding her chest and sucking breaths in between her teeth. As a result she had no idea of her opponet putting distance between them beofre dashing forward at her. Before she could react Artemis found a fair of feet burying into her already sore chest making her gasp breathlesslg in pain before slumping onto her but on thr mat, still propped up by leaning against the corner Artemis wwas well and truly stunned, unable to do anything against her opponet at the moment.

Landing her dropkick right at Artemis' chest, Sharon would immediately pick herself up after landing on her back. Seeing how weakened her opponent thanks to her attack, Sharon decided to continue with her onslaught as she would approach her, grabbing her from the front before wrapping her arms around her body, as if giving her a hug.

Pulling Artemis away from the corner, Sharon would then try to execute her next move, which was a belly-to-belly suplex, sending Artemis' body over her head and down onto the mat. She was certain that if the move was successful, a massive damage would be dealt on her opponent's body upon impact, making it much easier for her to win this match.
