Deval would be feeling the impact of her own headbutt. Stumbling backwards and holding her head. But she would still be smiling in a twisted way. She tried to regain her concentration before her opponent, when she did that she would try to charge her opponent and jump up in the last moment to kick Vega her knee into the abs. She would try to put much of her momentum into this kick while pulling herself towards the other woman by grabbing her shoulders.

Vega stumbled back in a daze; she shook her head to try to clear her sight as her surroundings were spinning around. As she began to regain focus she saw the figure of Deval leap up and put her arms out to no avail, as she felt a knee spear her right in the gut and knock the wind out of her. Instinctively she tried to grab her opponent to drag her down with her, but it would be moot point as she could feel the two of them crashing down with the Korean pushing down on her shoulders.

Deval would smirk when she saw how her opponent was suffering from her knee strike the Korean woman was about to follow this up with another strike when her opponent. But suddenly vega would grab her and would pull her down the floor as well. The Korean woman screamed out in shock when she was pulled down and would crash hard right next to her opponent laying there and groaning in pain. She would shake her head and try to get ontop of her opponent and sit on her belly would pressing her hand down onto the head of Vega pushing the side of her face into the grass.

The two crashed hard to the ground, and Vega certainly felt the impact as she let out a groan. Trying to gather herself quickly from the dust, the Japanese woman began to pick herself up before she was shoved back down again by her adversary, who then managed to straddle her stomach and push her face down.

With one side of her face firmly pressed into the grass below, Vega could barely see anything. Doing what she could to try to get her face off of the ground, Vega grasped Deval's wrist of the arm pushing down on her, hoping to jerk it free and possibly shake the Korean off balance.

Deval was sure she got the total control here, but it seemed like the underestimated the fighting spirit of Vega, when the girl would grap her arm and wrist and pulled her off her. She would groan out loudly for a moment before her opponent would make her fall to the side. The Korean woman would hit the dirt hard for a moment before she tried to get back to her hands and knees right away. This might be too slow and gave vega enough time to react.

Vega managed to yank Deval's arm off of her face, lurching the Korean to the side. Seeing an opening, Vega levered her shoulder to push her now off-balance assailant off of her and onto the ground next to her. The impact had stunned Deval for just enough for the Japanese fighter to quickly spring up and pounce. Scrambling, Vega looked to mount her adversary and position herself on top before she could get back up, hoping to set herself up in range to begin landing elbows.

The Korean fighter would try to recover when she suddenly felt someone launching themselves onto her belly. She would groan out loudly for a moment, slightly bouncing up from the floor. Deval would see her opponent right over her, in a mounting position. The Korean woman would need to swallow the shock down before she could react. In a defensive position Deval would try to pull her arms up and protect her head. But before she was able to shield her head with her arms an elbow would smash her right across the face, spinning her head to the side and making her salvia fly through the air. The Korean woman would try to recover from that but her head would be spinning.

Vega mounted Deval, straddling her torso, and quickly sent an elbow crashing down on her adversary's head. Encouraged with this contact, the Japanese fighter rained down a few more punches before the Korean had managed to cover her face with her arms. Seeking an alternate means of attack, Vega would grab at Deval's wrists and try to pin them on the ground above the brunette's head, sliding up to straddle her chest to exert more pressure.

The Korean woman would feel how her wrists were grabbed and pinned over her head. She would try to wiggle and pull her hands free but without any success. She would stare daggers at her opponent for a moment as she was squeezing her chest down. Deval would spit to her side before saying. “Normally you have to kiss me in this postion now!” she would say with a smirk on her face while some blood would run down from the edge of her mouth.

Vega, straddling Deval's chest, was unsure of the motives of the feisty Korean underneath her. "Oh, so you want to kiss and make-up now that I am kicking your ass, huh?" she shot back with a smirk of her own. Vega decided that she would go a different route, scooting herself even closer up; she would try to maneuver herself into a schoolgirl pin while reaching to grab a hold of Deval's hair to pull her opponent's face right into her crotch. If successful, she'd try to swing her legs around for a headscissors from her top position.
