Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning - Knockout Match

The flurry had done its job. Toshiko knew her speed with her strikes were surpassed by few, and that her opponents could rarely block or dodge all of them. She struck the chop, but the rest got blocked until Grace's stomach was opened up for her back kick. The kick to the back of Grace's head was a sure thing at that point, and it sent her down to a knee. Toshiko felt the hit. That's all she needed to know that she could be afforded a slight break, no matter how tough Grace Kenning seemed. Her long legs spread slightly as Ito bent over, propping a hand on the ground as she allowed herself a couple moments to try recovering from the stomach onslaught she had taken.

The Japanese performer then turned to look at Grace, her eyes solid and determined, seemingly unforgiving for the assault she had taken from her earlier. Toshiko then let out a loud martial arts yell, easily the loudest she's been all match. "Yaaaaaa!" And then the martial artist sent a crushing roundhouse kick towards Grace's head, hoping to finally take her down to the mat with it. She hoped that her own time recovering wouldn't have been enough time for her opponent to escape it somehow.

in one swift sequence of attacks the momentum shifted and Grace was struggling to stay on her feet, in fact she was only on one as is. Taking a knee in a way she didnt want to Toshiko wanted her even halfway up, letting out a primal yell that just spelled trouble before coming in with a roundhouse kick that ended up teeing off on her head and finishing the job her earlier attack did.

Grace's head rocked to the side and a bit of spit left her lips as she looked lost for a second before she finally timbered to the floor. Laying on her back completely laid out. Her senses started to return but at most she started to turn to the side a bit to try and cover up a little to put up some kind of defense even if she was pretty badly dazed.

Toshiko heard the loud smack from her boot off of Grace's head, and the Japanese performer felt the impact. She tried not to betray how she felt, but the Twilight Edge rocked back onto her heels and allowed her eyes to show signs of tiredness as she looked down at Grace, thinking it was okay to show some vulnerability while she had sent her down to the mat with her violent kick. Toshiko then backed herself up to the ring ropes behind her on the opposite end of the ring and rested against them, going back to holding her midsection that had been worked over earlier. She then shouted at the referee a single word: "Count!"

The referee did just that, and Toshiko took her time relaxing as she noticed that Grace was starting to stir. She didn't expect this to keep down her opponent for the proper ten count. She had discovered Grace was tough, and it would take more than one of those big strikes to keep her down. The rest was just what she needed though. And she would simply wait for Kenning to get up before she would strike again. And if she got up, Toshiko Ito would run straight at her and attempt to leap up and try to land a hurricanrana on her taller opponent to ground her once more.

Grace was dazed but even thens he heard the women scream at the ref to count, something that grace growled at. Like she was going to resemble anything that even remotely looked knocked out because of a few good hits. And yes it showed Toshiko knew how to hit but Grace would be damned if she let herself get beat by something as mundane as that. Shaking her head and looking at the ref before she started to come back up Grace looked as determined as ever to get started again, though once she started to find her foot she was met by a pair of legs, trapping her and sending her right back to the floor with a hurricanrana.

"Wooah!" If Grace had time to see it coming she might have been able to counter, but Toshiko was quick and if Grace took her eyes off her for a second, she was likely going to hit whatever she was aiming for. The move removed any progress Grace had made and left her slightly winded from the rough thud, while the fighter started to turn and try to get back to her side a little to recover from the hit.

In a fluid motion, Toshiko Ito had leaped up onto Grace's shoulders and taken her down with a hurricanrana in a beautiful motion. Almost instantly after performing the maneuver and got up to her feet and looked back at Kenning from over her shoulder, eyes narrowing slightly.

The Japanese girl would then turn on her heel and step around to her hurting opponent's back and then try to fire a swift but strong kick to her spine and said in an even, but rather domineering tone, "If you aim to stand up again, then do not let me put you back down again with ease." And with that, Toshiko would look to the referee and say again, "Count."

The Twilight Edge then made her way back to the corner and waited for Grace to get up again as the referee started her count once more.

"Gaagh!" Grace felt Toshiko's leg kick at her spine before she had a chance to react or do anything, causing the fighter another wave of pain as she shifted a bit n the floor, enduring more of the women's stiff words while telling the ref to count. Grace just shook her head again and looked at the ref with a determined glare.

"Dont do that.." She demaned forcefully pushing up with one hand while the other checked the area on ehr back she was kicked. "This is a ko match not a last women standing match...and I know its hard for yout to see under that mask and all that arrogance but im far from knocked out.." She spat those last words at Toshiko who she was staring at now before standing up completely eyeing her opponent all the way.

Toshiko watched Grace start to stand intently and started walking towards her opponent as she stood, speaking back to her. "I wished for her to count you out as a courtesy to you. But since you insist, I will just beat you until it is resoundingly clear that you are knocked out," spoke Ito, her words with a tempered fury behind them, getting closer to Grace.

"Now stand before me and fight like you want to win," added Toshiko, her voice raising just slightly more than before. The Japanese performer would then turn and spin on her heel, trying to nail a side kick to Grace's chest in an effort to send her on her back or stumbling backwards.

Like she needed to be told that by her. Toshiko once again seemed to be forgetting who the rookie was here, and more glaringly she was forgetting how Grace had her in trouble not 5 minutes ago. But Grace could tell those facts would just infuriate her more...and breathing and looking at her and even making a motion that resembled talking.

Though grace's mental rambling didnt distract her from the action when Toshiko went for her kick Grace was ready for her. Her hands came up to protect herself from the shot to her chest as she would try to take the blow and put a halt to Toshiko's momentum, hopefully standing her ground well enough that she was in close proximity for a quick kick to the women's side or back to try and force her away.

Toshiko had thrown her side kick, but it was never an intentionally strong strike. She merely wanted to test to see if Grace would come at her stronger. Her opponent blocked the strike and Toshiko quickly adopted a stance again, only to be hit in the side with a kick. Ito staggered to the side a few paces after a muffled cry before she glared right at Kenning.

"Fight me like you want to win!" repeated the Japanese fighter louder. She would then step towards Grace again throw a similar kick to Grace's side that she had sent her way, only throwing much more power behind it. The strike would sting if it connected. It was Toshiko's wish to anger Grace and get her to come at her stronger. She wanted more from Kenning, a normally questionable strategy in a match such as this one, but Toshiko was confident enough in herself and not worried. She just wanted to see all that her opponent could offer.

Grace's kick connected and made Toshiko stagger a bit but she showed some fortitude of her own by not only taking the shot but telling her to fight like she wanted to win...Grace wasnt sure exactly what that meant but she had a feeling it was a dig at how hard she just hit her, not at all helped by Toshiko going for a kick with much more noticeable power to it when it connected.

"Gahngh... Grace hissed at the impact with her side before she looked at Toshiko. She wanted her best shot? She might be asking to get knocked out early, Grace's first instinct was to go for her abs again but something told her Toshiko wasnt that crazy, she likely wouldnt let her near her stomach after her previous strike, So instead grace came in and trying to take out Toshiko's head with a hook that came with the force of a sledgehammer.
