Megumi Mutoh/Tina Armstrong - Meeting the Champion

Upon throwing Tina behind with the release dragon suplex, Megumi quickly got back on her feet to see what the current middleweight champion was doing. Seeing that she was keeping Tina on her toes, the former Wrestle Angel smiled as she would then close in, going to pick her up so that she could bring her down into the mat once again with a powerful-looking body slam!

Tina groaned as she was lift up, and brought crashing down hard to the mat thanks to Megimi's slam!

"Arrrggghhhh!" Tina howled as she arched her back, kicking and moaning in pain, clearly worse for wear at this jucture! She had to do something and fast before Megumi began rolling. The last thing Tina wanted was to tarnish her title with any kind of defeat...

After body slamming Tina into the mat, Megumi couldn't help but smirk a little, thinking that she might be able to get herself the gold if her opponent was at this level in a real title match. Standing before Tina, the former Wrestle Angel put her hands on her hips as she started taunting the middleweight champion.

"C'mon now... if this is how you fight, that belt better goes to me," she said. It was partly to spur Tina back into action, and partly to show how superior she was before Tina.

The saying "never met your heroes" started to ring true for Tina. She was liking Megumi a little less after her taunt, because Tina seemed like it was more than a taunt. It seemed more like a genuine arrogance. Gritting her teeth she wanted to make Megumi pay by sweeping her legs out from underneath her with a leg sweep!

"Come on, run your mouth more, I dare ya!" Tina said as she mustered all the power she could, fighting through her pain to leap on top of Megumi in an effort to mount her and rain punches down on her face!

Megumi succeeded in provoking Tina with her taunt, perhaps too well as Tina managed to sweep her legs from under her, and the former Wrestle Angel fell onto her back. "Uagh!!" She yelped as she landed on her back. Before she could regain her bearing, Tina immediately went upon her and started raining punches down on her face after mounting her.

"Uugh!! Uuughh!!" Megumi groaned in pain, bringing up her arms to shield her face from any further punches from Tina.

Tina was on top of Megumi and landed a few solid hits before Megumi brought her guard up. Tina got off, yanking Megumi up by the hair. The tigress tried to wrap an arm around Megimi's head, grabbing the waist of her swimsuit.

Tina wanted to lift her up and back quickly attempting to send Megumi to the mat with a snap suplex!

Despite her having her arms to shield herself from Tina's attacks, Megumi was stunned enough that the current middleweight champion could capitalize on her current situation by grabbing her before pulling her up so that she could throw her back with a snap suplex, sending Megumi crashing down into the mat.

"Gaahhhhh!!!" Megumi cried out in pain as she hit the canvas, grimacing as she tried to lessen the pain by arching up her body. At the moment, all she could do was trying to push Tina away before she could follow up with more attacks.

Tina took Megumi down, and felt a shove redirect her away after the landing. Tina rolled and stood up, facing Megumi ready to strike. She crouched, laying in wait as Megumi was likely going to make it up to her feet quickly. Tina waited for her moment, leaping at Megumi and spinning her legs around as she tried to send a spinning wheel kick crashing into Megumi's head!

Tina was fired up and to her this felt more like an official match than any sort of workout! She had to make a statement here, and show Megumi there was a reason she was the champion, especially after Megumi early spoke making it seem like she was belittling Tina.

Grunting, Megumi got back up on her feet, grimacing as she did so. Once she got back up, she saw Tina rushing over to her, and she would dip her head low, avoiding the kick. Tina's foot sailed over her head as she evaded the kick, and in retaliation, Megumi would go and reach for Tina's other leg, looking to send her tumbling down with a dragon screw!

Upon taking her down, Megumi planned to lock her in a figure four leglock, applying pressure on the younger woman's legs with the submission hold. She would arch her body up to make the submission hold more painful.

tina flew down into the mat, landing hard and groaning! Her groan quickly turned into a loud scream as a figure four leg lock was secured, Tina thrashing about in pain! "Ahhhhhhhh!" Tina was pissed at herself for getting caught but she knew how to get out of this, even though it wouldn't be easy. Tina was stuck for a few moments in the hold and the damage was done, her legs were hurting badly.

Tina however put all her power into rolling over, trying to reverse the pressure so she had Megumi stuck in the hold! She spread her arms wide in an effort to prevent further rolling on Megumi's part. If she could keep Megumi stuck in the hold and apply all the pressure she could it would return the favor for the pain she herself had just endured.
