Kyoko Akan (C) vs Katarzyna Zawiślak — Last Woman Standing Match for the LAW Middleweight Title

Once Kyoko calmed herself down she reminded herself of the fact that even among the few people who weren't finished by the spear were in such poor condition that Kyoko was guaranteed a victory anyway, Kate had to be no different. She even seemed tamer and trying to regain her strength, something that she needed to count on when she saw her taking a fighting stance. Only now it was her who misread someone's judgement, expecting Kate to stubbornly force more boxing in and ignore her legs until Kate moved in and threw a kick that caught Kyoko completely off guard.

"Ugggh!" Kyoko groaned stepping back until she hit the ropes and then bringing her arm down to the tenderized spot of Kate's kick. She was still ready to fight, pain or no pain. Kyoko wanted to respect it, her pride got in the way since it was at her expense and she was already sick of Kate's preachy attitude before the match. She ran back at her this time prepared for anything, going low and trying for a double leg take down to put the match on the floor, where she would try to punch Kate's face once she was on top of her.

Kyoko was caught off guard by Kate's return, little wonder since she thought that the spear she landed was the end for the younger wrestler, but the support from that surprise did not last forever and after Kate's opening kick, the champion hurried to reengage with her challenger. Seeing Kyoko go low and the way she moved her body off-centre, Kate could see what her opponent was going for but she was moving too fast to allow Kate to sprawl and properly counter the takedown, instead forcing her to resort to widening her stance and jumping guard as soon as Kyoko got a hold of her.

As soon at they hit the floor, Kate wrapped her legs around Kyoko's midsection and in true sambo fashion, started to squeeze, not quite a proper body scissor but with the power in Kate's legs, it was more than a bit uncomfortable, not to mention, making it difficult to breathe. All that being said, it could do little to stop the incoming punches, the first of which would catch Kate square on the face, making her head hit the ring floor before she got her guard properly up.

Being on the bottom was almost never a good position in grappling and Kate knew that perfectly well but there were ways to work around that. Waiting for one of the punches to come down, Kate would move her head to the side, letting it whiff past her before trying to grab the wrist and slam an open palm into the crook of Kyoko's elbow to force it to bend before threading her arm under Kyoko's armpit to grab her own wrist and leverage it to get the champion's arm behind her back, pulling tight a Kimura lock!

The punches came down, smashing Kate's face even more after Kate's legs wrapped around her waist, she needed to get up and secure a mount and those legs were the only things stopping her right now. She wanted to put an end to them as quickly as possible. The Belly Queen started to move up when she saw Kate's head hit the mat thinking she had a chance to escape only to have her arm pulled into a kimura lock before she could get there, with Kate able to resecure her legs to avoid Kyoko slipping out.

"Ngggh!" Kyoko cried, feeling her arm being bent at the joint and forcing her into a submission that was getting tighter and tighter with each passing second. She tried to straighten out her arm to resist it and lift up her waist to put Kate more on her back, then press into her. She couldn't get a pin in this match so being put on her upper back wouldn't spook Kate but the angle would make it a little harder to keep the hold while Kyoko would try to keep her arm straight and then turn her body enough that she could get her hand up to grab Kate's arms and try to pry at the hold while keeping her waist up to create space and make Kate's leg scissors harder to keep on. If she could create an opening she would try to slip her arm free of the lock and then quickly grab one of Kate's legs and pull it down, both trying to break the hold for good and then isolate the leg so that Kyoko could twist Kate's ankle.

Kate was keeping her kimura tight for as long as the circumstances allowed but Kyoko was playing things smart, instead of trying to power her way out and risk her arm getting broken in a particularly nasty way, she shifted, tried to counteract the hold and make it progressively harder to keep locked until trying to do so was untenable, forcing her to release it when Kyoko's attempts to break it were getting the better of her.

In this new position, the squeeze she was keeping on Kyoko was also getting harder to maintain and though on its own, she could have kept it going, when met with opposition, it would fail, giving Kyoko control of her leg which she would waste no time in starting to twist. "Khhhya!" She cried out pulling her other leg back and shifting her hips to compensate. they were still thought at a very close range and Kate would go to use that fact.

She'd grab a hold of one of Kyoko's legs, putting her foot on the woman's shoulder opposite to the limb she just grabbed and she'd pull with her arm, pushing the shoulder she targeted and with her still free hand pushing upwards to keep her trapped leg at a safe angle and crucially land on top of Kyoko's stomach! If she managed that, she would then grab a hold of the fabric of the collar of the champion's attire from opposite sides, hends reaching almost behind the woman's back to then pull in and across, trying to lock in an X Choke!

Kyoko's focus on Kate's angle was a spur of the moment act, trying to secure a submission after being in one herself and giving her a moment to think of a follow up strategy. The first thought in her head was to keep going for the stomach since after the spear her abs had to be faltering, but she had to ask herself if that was the smart move or the one she wanted to do just because of Kate's abs being an enticing target. Her mind then shifted towards her current strategy and what she could do with the leg, telling herself that so long as she had it she could create more openings, and it was true enough. She pulled on the leg forcing Kate to try and resist by grabbing one of her own to stay in close so Kyoko couldn't slip away from her, not tha tit stopped her from trying to get Kate off of her so she could keep going. She then put her foot on her good shoulder to use as leverage to kick her foot up, confusing Kyoko for the moment until Kate's plan ended with her landing on top of Kyoko's belly.

"Gngh." Kyoko groaned, keeping her abs tight even against the pressure of Kate's weight while Kate kept them close and then grabbed around her collar, when she was pulled in close she almost lost her hold and then Kate fully pressed her arms against Kyoko's neck all thoughts of holding it faded. "Guugh!" Kyoko gasped, pulled in tight enough that the blood flow to her brain was almost completely cut off by the choke. She struggled for a moment trying to first reach up and pull her arms off but she was close to losing the strength necessary to do that. Her only other option was to try and throw punches to Kate's face with her good arm and go low with her bad one and push against her stomach to try and create space to roll them around after Kyoko's punches connected. Instead of escaping she tried to return the favor by bringing her own legs and trying to grab one of Kate's arms, pulling back and rolling so that she fully lock her legs around her and secure a triangle choke to try and knock Kate out.

If things went down to pure grabs, that X choke might have been the ticket but as the saying went, everyone is a black belt until they get punched and if getting punched in general would drop you by a belt down, punches from Kyoko felt like they were getting from the black, all the way down to blue and though Kate managed to keep hold with the first strike, her position shifted and allowed the champion to get the boos of that all so precious oxygen into her system that led to the other punch, forcing Kate to let go all together!

"Gha!" She grunted, feeling the push on her belly before Kyoko managed to clear Kate's legs and a swift push and pull later, trap her in a triangle, instantly putting a squeeze on her curated arteries and making the world grow dimmer by the second! Kate focused, pressing her teeth on her tongue in an old trick to stop herself from slipping unconscious too early. She'd brought her knees under Kyoko's butt, lifting her off the ground for a moment to change the angle, and placing her hands on her hip, directly above the leg that pressed against her throat to push, allowing her to roll her shoulder forward, lessening the pressure on her neck. from there she'd turn to the side, getting her knee directly next to Kyoko's side to get a correct line, driving her hands down on her hip again while standing up to break the hold. She'd then let her hands slide along Kyoko's leg, stopping at the ankle before falling back with it in her grasp, wrapping her legs around her tight to go for a knee bar!

Applying the Triangle was easy even with the lack of oxygen she was dealing with, but making the hold tighter definitely needed some more than she had right after breaking the choke. She was applying it the best she could while Kate was already working on her escape by changing the angle she had her in, she wasn't able to lift her up from here but she managed to get herself close enough to slightly elevate herself much like she did when she escaped her kimura, forcing the hold to adjust to a new angle that made it easier for her to slip herself free, before snapping up her leg in the same movement, pulling it back and dropping with it a knee bar.

"AAggh!" Kyoko growled, feeling Kate pull on the same leg again, this time focusing on the knee. She could feel the way her knee was bent causing more and more pain to her leg that she could only try to reduce from the way she was situated. She wondered if it was intentional that she was targeting the same leg that Alizeh did, but for the moment had to get out before the pain became too much. Much like how she escaped the last hold Kyoko would sit herself up and try to grab Kate, pulling her in close enough that Kyoko could lift her other leg and kick or stomp at anything of Kate's close enough to her to try and get her to let go. At the same time she'd try to grab Kate's arm and pull her around, setting herself up to lock in a Fujiwara armbar and bend Kate's arm to try and limit her chances of using another submissions and then take advantage from there.

Whilst locking the knee bar, Kate wondered if Kyoko still had issues with the knee from her match with Alizeh, which knee was it again? Didn't really matter, if it was this one and it still hurt, it would soon hurt more, if it was the other, well, that would leave Kyoko with two bad knees, all the better really. As much as Kate wanted to keep the kneebar locked and feel Kyoko's ACL give in, the champion would not let that happen, managing to kick under Kate's own knee to leverage the limb off and release the pressure on the joint.

With that, she was free to pull her leg out and before Kate could scramble, she'd grab her arm, pin her shoulder to the mat and pull, starting to extend her elbow as Kate fought to keep even the slightest bend to it, her muscles nigh on ripping off the bone as she tried to resist. "Khyyyya!" She cried out in pain. Fujiwara however had one glaring weakness and that was a lack of control over the opponent's body, and thus, the necessary angle. Knowing that, Kate would push off the mat, turning so that her trapped arm would be extended above her head where she could then roll 45 degrees, getting the angle for the armbar cleared before pulling the arm that was just recently trapped to forcing Kyoko to face first into the ground, rolling onto her back to then wrap an arm around her neck, while she laid with her shoulder on top of Kyoko's back, kicking her legs forward and leaning her weight against the woman's spine, reinforcing her grip with the other hand before twisting to attempt a combination of a bulldog choke and a neck crank

Having already broken an arm with the Fujiwara to stay champ before, everyone knew Kyoko was ready to do it again. She would crank her arm up as high as she could while keeping control trying to damage the arm or break it if Kate couldn't escape since tapping out wasn't an option. The problem came when she leaned into it too much, and Kate rolled with it, taking Kyoko to her back and creating yet another scramble. This time Kate would push her face down to the mat when Kyoko tried to roll away and then moved to wrap her arms around it when Kyoko reached up to block the attempt to lock up.

"Get off me." Kyoko said, taking the arm and rolling through to throw Kate to her back once more, before trying to take that arm and bend it before turning into an anaconda vice submission hold. Pulling her head up and wrapping it as close to her as possible while making sure Kate got to experience what Kyoko's arm could do to a person's head when it was wrapped around them.

Kate managed to get out of the armbar and tried to follow it up with a choke but before she could, Kyoko managed to roll out of danger, still holding onto Kate to force the woman back down to the mat using the hand she still had control over to lock in a vice around her skull and start squeezing. Kate could feel her skull being wrapped tightly around and slowly crushed by the iron grip of Kyoko and the pressure could be enough to knock Kate out if she did not act fast.

Her screams of pain were being muffled as her mouth got squeezed tight against the bulging muscles of the champion but it would not hide them from Kyoko herself. Not that Kate planned to give her satisfaction from that for long. Her legs were still free and she'd bring one of them up, pushing her leg to Kyoko's throat, aiming to start crushing the woman's trachea, knowing that in the battle between the power of legs and arms legs would have an advantage and even without that, Kyoko's trachea would certainly not be able to take as much pressure as Kate's spine and skull.

If it worked and she felt Kyoko trying to let go, she would then only push harder before the woman could retreat from the hold at her own terms, hoping to break her grip and slam her head into the mat after which she could sit up and get on top of the woman. From there she'd give the champion two good punches to ensure compliance before pulling her up, trapping her head under her armpit, wrapping her arm under the woman's neck and meeting with the other to then turn and squeeze, hoping to lock in a tight, seated guillotine that if stable enough, Kate would attempt to transition into a standing one to use Kyoko's own weight against her, trying to lean back and lift the champion's feet from the ground, letting all her weight rest on her neck in her finisher - Kraina Snów!
