Emily Nelson vs Peggy McIntyre

Emily, truth to be told, was breathing had after that relentless offence from Peggy. The Irish girl was a powerhouse, through and through, and clearly had a lot of determination lending her strength as well. She had to stay on her, she knew, if she was going to pull a win out of this-- she had seen how quickly Peggy could recover, after all.

Leaning over Peggy, Emily would grab a handful of Peggy's hair to yank her up to her feet. Without waiting, she would slide one hand around her opponent's shoulder and another around her thigh, and with a yell would try to flip her over and then drop down to her butt, trying to drive Peggy back-first into the mat with a piledriver!

Peggy was pulled up and grabbed. Unfortunately for her Emily had such a grip on her that she couldn't act in time being flipped over. She knew what was coming but was powerless and when her head crashed to the canvas she let out a weak yelp and moan as her body flopped to the canvas! Her arms cradled her head and she weakly kicked the mat a couple times as her inner thigh rippled with each kick. Peggy was not in real trouble and couldn't even really move after such a devastating move!

The ring shook as Emily drove Peggy right into it, the blow sending the Irish girl toppled onto her back. Kneeling over her downed opponent, Emily took a few seconds to catch her breath, her chest rising and falling as around them, the crowd went wild after that brutal move. Peggy looked barely able to move: it was now or never.

Wordlessly, Emily dropped down and lay across the Irish girl, hooking one of her legs for the pinfall. In an instant, the ref girl was next to them, counting down.

"ONE..."

Peggy was motionless as she laid there groaning as she was laid out and covered for the pin.

"TWO!"

"THR-"

Peggy screamed and thrust upward with her shoulder while twisting her torso to break the pin! Her head still throbbed and she couldn't see straight but she did manage to just barely kick out to keep the match going. However right now she could still barely move as she rolled away hoping to stagger her way up to her feet before Emily could make things worse for her.

Emily felt the count nearly reach three before Peggy twisted under her, narrowly getting a shoulder up. Giving an exasperated sigh, Emily knelt upright, privately impressed by Peggy's tenacity. Though she had quite the mouth on her, the Irish girl was as stubborn as she was strong-- both qualities of a really good wrestler. If she hadn't made such a bad first impression, Emily might have liked the girl more than she did.

Instead, though, she saw Peggy rolling away, slowly staggering upright. Standing up, Emily strode relentlessly after her foe while she was on her knees, and would try to grab for her wrists and trap them under her armpits. If she managed that, then she would press her knee into Peggy's back, locking in a surfboard stretch!

"Come on, lass!" she would shout. "Ye've fought well, but now it's time for ye t' tap!"

Things didn't get any better for Peggy as Emily pounced right away grabbing hold and locking in the surfboard stretch! "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Peggy howled, her loud screams echoing throughout the arena like a banshee as she shook her head and bucked in the grip of Emily! Peggy was stuck and in agony but she kept trying to buck and twist attempting to escape this incredibly painful hold.

Peggy was crying out in pain now as Emily wrenched hard on her arms with her surfboard stretch. True to form, though, the Irish girl was proving to be exceptionally stubborn, shaking her head and absolutely refusing to give up. Even though Emily was determined to defeat her, she still found herself admiring the girl's tenacity all the same.

Slowly, Emily released her knee from Peggy's back and instead used the grip on her arms to try to hoist her up to her feet. Unless Peggy managed to break free, Emily would then arch back, hoping to nail her Irish opponent with a back body drop!

Peggy felt herself lift up and grabbed by Emily knowing this was going to be bad. She wrapped a leg around one of Emily's to hook and prevent herself from being lift while swinging her elbow back into the head of her opponent! "Let go ya pain in the ass! I won't lose to ya or let ya lord over me!" Peggy said as she tried to get herself free from Emily's grip before she could crash down to the mat. Peggy wanted to spin around and face Emily to grab her around the waist. Peggy wanted to lift her up instead and plant her to the mat with a bridged northern lights suplex to put her in a pinning position!

As Emily tried to lift Peggy off the mat, the wily Irish girl quickly countered, wrapping one long leg around one of Emily's, arresting the lift...and then ramming an elbow back into Emily's skull!" "UGH!" Emily grunted, staggering back as she blinked away stars. Unfortunately for her, this left her open to Peggy wrapping her arms tightly around her waist, seemingly going for a bearhug.

Nothing could be further from the truth, however, as Emily's world suddenly went vertical, tilting head over heels as she was liftedn in a northern lights suplex! There was a tremendous crash as Emily was rammed head and shoulders first into the mat, her body tilted upside down as Peggy planted her for a pinfall! In an instant, the ref girl was next to them, starting the countdown.

"ONE...TW-"

With a loud yell, Emily kicked out, breaking the hold. She was in a bad position, though: just as she had seemed to get the advantage, Peggy had just turned things around again!

Peggy felt Emily kick out and fairly quickly too, leaving her shaking her head and wondering what she could do. Peggy staggered up and had an idea. She began running to the ropes and she jumped up onto the middle rope. The Irish grappler was trying to springboard back off with all the momentum she could right at Emily as she stood up hoping that a springboard cross body block would catch Emily by surprise and send her crashing flat to the mat with Peggy right on top of her and pinning her once more!
