A mock match: Oscar Orelash and Moria Kilgannon

Oscar narrowed his eyes and tightened his focus as Moria charged at him. He was ready this time for her though as he extended his arms and planted his feet, catching Moria out of the air and taking a few steps back before locking his arms around her in an attempt to squeeze what energy she had left out of her in his signature bearhug- the barbaric brace! The hold would be tight as it was, but if it worked Moria would feel the pressure slowly increasing the longer Oscar squeezed on her torso, gritting his teeth and grunting as he did so.

Moira expected him to bowl over but the barbarian had clearly readied an action to catch her as she launched herself at him. Moira let out a yelp as Oscar wrapped her up with a bearhug. With the pressure on her torso slowly increasing, the gathering crowd thought it was over, but Moira was not done. She clobbered his side with her left arm to distract him and then slipped her right arm in between his arm and torso. The crowd went nuts as the two were locked in a double bearhug.

Oscar shouted out in pain as Moria struck his side, then let out a long groan of pain as Moria started squeezing him back.

"Nhhh... not bad..."

He couldn't help but compliment her as the crowd of students started chanting their names.

"... Don't expect me to... nhh... give though!"

He'd clamp down on his hug, leaning back to try and squeeze more of Moria's stamina out of her as he currently endured her hug and looked to squeeze her out in his own!

Moira gritted her teeth. ”This… is very… barbaric. You’re… going down.”

The two were pressed against each other, squeezing with all their might while the crowd cheered.

The bearhug was one of Moira’s favorite moves and, usually, her finisher. Her brothers had bear hugged her before when she would wrestle them, but this was a whole other level. Moira had never gone toe to toe with someone as strong as Oscar, and certainly not with a bearhug. She kept squeezing with dogged determination, but it just wasn’t enough.

Moira let out a cry of pain as the pressure from Oscar’s Barbaric Brace grew, and the Barbarian Prince showed no signs of abating. Her breathing grew more labored and her grip weakened. Moira put up a brave resistance, but she wilted in Oscar’s crushing embrace.

Feeling Moria's grip start to weaken on him, a confident grin formed on Oscar's face as he would plan to finish the fight- lifting moria off of the ground and giving her the biggest squeeze yet like he was planning on making her two waist sizes smaller! He'd let out a roar for the crowd as he poured as much as he could into this last hug!

The two were chest-to-chest, with Moira now fully on the receiving end of Oscar’s bearhug. Moira raised an arm as if readying to tap, but she clenched her fist instead. She cried out in pain and her eyes watered when Oscar lifted her up and crushed her with all his strength. Moira flailed about striking aimlessly on pure instinct. The ref asked if Moira wanted to submit. ”NO!” The pain grew to great and Moira passed out. The Irishwoman went limp in Oscar’s arms and her head rested against his. The ref raised Moira’s arm and let go. It ragdolled to her side.

THREE!!

The referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the match, declaring Oscar as the winner as the crowd of students erupted into cheers! Oscar would loosen the bearhug and gently lower Moria to the canvas rather than just drop her to the ground. He'd grin to the fellow trainees as his arm was raised, taking a sec to wave to everybody for the amazing show before looking back down at Moria and squatting down and gently shaking her by her shoulder, trying to wake her up.

"Hey... Moria? You alright?"

Moira felt the dull roar of the students in her ears. She woke to Oscar shaking her. His blurry face came into focus. “Oi my back. Bugger I hurt all over. I take it you won the Strength roll? Good match. she giggled with a painful grimace. Moira leveraged Oscar to get to her feet and offered him a warrior’s handshake like the Barbarian Prince he was.

"Good match!"

Oscar looked relieved as Moria wasn't seriously hurt and took her hand, shaking it firmly before suddenly raising her arm upwards, getting another pop from the students for her effort!

"We sure gave a show, didn't we?"

He chuckled and grinned, looking over at Moria.

"Say- if you're still up for chatting, I know a bar just within walking distance we could meet up at later. Could even grab a friendly drink. Interested?"

The two raised each other’s arms to celebrate their great match. ”Aye I love to drink. Might be where I balance the scales. See you in a few hours when we get off” Moira laughed and the two went back to training.
