Morgan Frey vs. Hikaru Sawazaki - Apex Qualifier Match

After the count of two, Hikaru managed to break the pin, and Morgan let go of her as she would push herself up, looking at Hikaru who was rolling away. Knowing that she couldn't let her recover, Morgan would make her way towards her, looking to grab her before she could rise back up onto her feet. From there, she would stand before her before driving her knee into her gut, looking to leave her winded and stunned in preparation for her next move.

Hikaru was starting to rise up when Morgan charged in and hammered Hikaru with a knee to the mid-section! "Ugh!" Hikaru groaned as she dropped to her knees with her arms cradling her midsection. She was hurting and that strike kept her in place leaving her open once more. Hikaru was growing increasingly disappointed in herself as she struggled to think of how she went from total control to having lost her momentum so decisively.

Driving her knee into Hikaru's midsection, Morgan stood in front of her, seeing Hikaru falling on her knees. She would reach down to her head, grabbing her by her hair before she shoved her head between her thighs, putting her into a standing headscissor. Then, she would reach down to her waist, wrapping her arms around her before lifting her up, holding her upside down with Hikaru's head pointing down to the mat.

Adjusting her grip around Hikaru's waist, Morgan would then drop herself down onto her knees, bringing Hikaru head first into the mat with a piledriver! She knew that the move would deal a devastating damage on her opponent, and upon impact, she would release Hikaru's body so that she could see her condition after taking the piledriver.

Hikaru was reeling now and when she was lift up she was horribly staggering. Morgan lift Hikaru up and held her before spiking her skull to the mat with a pile driver! "ARRRRGGHHHHHHH!" Hikaru howled as she flopped down to the mat limply barely moving until she cradled her head in her arms and weakly kicked the mat twice as she looked to be down. The hurting Hikaru was clearly in a bad way after taking the hard hitting pile driver!

Bringing Hikaru head first into the mat with the piledriver, Morgan could see how devastating the move was, but she thought that it might not be enough to take her out. She needed another insurance for this, so she would approach her downed opponent, grabbing her by her arm and leg before dragging her closer to one of the turnbuckles, preparing herself for one big finish.

After making sure that Hikaru was placed near the turnbuckle, Morgan would make her way to the turnbuckle and climb it up, getting herself at the top. Then, facing the ring and taking one last look at her opponent, she would then jump into the air, performing an aerial maneuver as she would attempt to hit her opponent with a frog splash, which she called Omega Impact!

Hikaru was down on the mat in pain and that was only going to get worse as Morgan came flying through the air crashing down hard on top of Hikaru! Hikaru cried out in pain, kicking the mat and writhing underneath Morgan clearly out! Hikaru had given it her best and seemed to have nothing to show for it as she was laid out flat underneath Morgan at this point wide open for a pin.

Landing on top of Hikaru with her Omega Impact, Morgan would keep herself on top of her, going for the pinfall attempt. She would make sure to hook both her legs, pulling them up as she would make sure that Hikaru was on her back, her shoulders touching the mat. The referee then would come over and start counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Hikaru howled as the splash hit, and she was motionless as she was pinned by Morgan making this academic.

"THREE!"

The bell rang and Hikaru was defeated once again, rolling to her stomach and covering her face in her arms. She was in a lot of pain and would try to slink her way to the ropes, laying next to them as Morgan won the Apex qualifier. Hikaru knew she had to try to change things, again, in order to end matches in victory instead of defeat.

With the third count, the match was over. Breathing hard, Morgan rose back up onto her feet as she got her arm raised by the referee, declared the victor of this match. The crowd cheered for the quiet lightweight, though she allowed herself to smile for her victory.

After looking at Hikaru for one last time, Morgan would make her way out of the ring, head held high as her music was played. With her winning this qualifier match, she knew that she had shown herself to be a formidable contender for the biggest title LAW had to offer.
