Ramza's hair was gripped roughly, forcing him upright with a pained groan. "A-ah! Wait! Not the ponytail!" Why they always go for the ponytail?!

Before he could finish his protest, she'd snapped his neck down and flipped him onto his back. Stars exploded across his vision as the impact rattled his spine.

"Ow!" He wheezed as he lay there dazedly, trying to orient himself.

But his survival instincts kicked in just in time, his sharp intuition already telling him of a follow-up. The moment he registered Yasha's movement, Ramza rolled away to the side, scrambling out of range just as she attempted her standing somersault.

THUD

The redhead crashed to the mat where he'd been moments ago, the impact shaking the platform beneath them but with no target to cushion the fall, Yasha took the entirety of that fall.

"Phew." Ramza breathed out in relief while wiping sweat over his eyes. He pushed himself up to a sitting position to survey the damage. Meanwhile, the crowd booed at his successful evasion, clearly disappointed, making the man from at the favoritism.

Yasha had followed-up with her offensive successfully, completely seizing the initiative and assuming control over her more passive rival. If he wasn’t willing to try and fight back Ramza was in for a world of pain, that and losing of course. However, just as Yasha wanted to seal the deal for that beat of the match with something flashy and cool looking like a Standing Sommersault was exactly when the man decided to roll out of the way, leaving Yasha to plant on the miss her mark and plant on the may chest first.

“Augh! Fuck!!”, protested Yasha with her teeth clenched. Missing her mark with the sommersault left her with a stinging sensation coming from her chest. It wasn’t a terrible pain but just enough to have her lying on her stomach for an instant. Being honest her pride was more hurt than her body but she still needed a couple seconds to recatch her breath. What would Ramza devise for those seconds, only he knew, but the man looked pleasantly seated on the canvas.

Ramza was on one knee on the mat, watching Yasha recover after her crash. This was a good time for him to catch his breath and thoughts, to find a good strategy. Those few seconds gave him time to think, to plan. And honestly, his body was not having a good day with his bruise and the one underneath his shorts.

Still, he couldn't just sit there forever. The crowd wouldn't allow it.

With a deep breath to steel himself, Ramza pushed himself to his feet before approaching the woman from her head.

"Alright then, Miss Yasha," he announced. "I believe it's my turn now."

Reaching down, he would attempt to wrap his arms around her under her armpits to lift her up standing. From there, he could easily transition his grip down to her waist, allowing him easy way to maneuver into a Suplex.

Having planted on the mat chest first after her failed attempt at a sommersault, Yasha needed some seconds to recover from the stinging sensation of pain coming from her core. She knew this was far from a desirable path of action but the match’s events forced her to remain on her stomach for some instants and try to regain her breath.

This, apparently, was Ramza’s cue to spring to action. Based on the man’s words it looked like his time to remain idle was over and he was finally willing to bring some fight to that match. The man started by dragging Yasha back on her feet, by her armpits and not her braid and that was a nice touch, and then setting the still weakened redhead for a suplex. Everything turned upside-down and Yasha braced for impact just instants before she hit the mat. It was a decently executed move and surely the damage was starting to pile up. Taken aback by this, Yasha was regrettably open to anything Ramza could be planning.

THUD

Yasha hit the mat hard, the impact surely driving the air from her lungs. Ramza held the bridge position for a moment longer, making sure she was properly grounded before releasing his grip.

"Haah... haah..." he panted softly, eyes now filled with confidence mixed with exertion. That felt good. Really good for him.

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause - his first real offensive move and it had landed cleanly. Ramza ignored them but it does feel good to be acknowledged by a crowd.

But he haven't won yet. Crawling on op of the woman and ignoring her soft mounds, he laid his body across hers, pinning her down. One arm reached below and hooked her leg upwards, inadvertently hiking up Yasha's skirt and exposing her crotch to the masses who roared in excitement and to the confusion of a clueless Ramza.

Immediately, the ref slides next to them and began counting.

That wasn’t Reika’s first dance, nor the first time she had been suplexed. As a part of the wrestling world the demoness had learnt a very valuable lesson: sometimes one was on top and sometimes on bottom, so being capable of taking hits without losing focus was as much good a skill as being able to hit the rival. Those who only prevailed while on top never prospered in this world. Now it was the redhead’s time to receive some pain and she was up to it, to bid her time until her chance for a comeback would arise.

The suplex Ramza executed was technically flawless. It looked like no matter how hesitant the man was he was trained and proficient at wrestling. After holding the bridge for a little longer so her body was fully set after the impact Yasha was released and flopped on the mat. The seconds she needed to recover were pretty important because Ramza could follow-up with some more punishment, but instead of that she noticed how he was setting her for a pin, hooking her leg and crossing his body on top of hers. It was too soon, she thought. Yasha wasn’t weakened enough for a full pin so she made a statement by breaking it just after the ref counted one.

Resolved to turn things back on her favor, Yasha rolled and regained her footing first, launching a kick to the side of the still on the mat Ramza so he would be weakened so she could grab him by the wrist and whip him against one of the corners, following him so she could crush him against the turnbuckle first by impact and then with her own body.

ONE!

Yasha broke the pin immediately, rolling and recovering faster than Ramza anticipated. Her foot soon connected solidly with his ribs, the impact making him grunt.

"Oof" Before he could react further, she grabbed his wrist and whipped him toward the corner post. Running up the post, Ramza turned around at the last second to cushion the impact with his back. Although it was a success, the impact was still painful and jarring. Still, he got wits and more than enough for the next exchange.

Seeing her charge across the ring to his position, Ramza stayed still, waiting. Timing needs to be perfect. Just as the woman was a feet away from him on impact, Ramza raised his leg and kicked his foot straight to Yasha's chest, aiming to send the woman reeling and maybe lay her out flat on her back.

It could be that Ramza wasn’t expecting Yasha’s haste when she got up and went to seize the man’s wrist to then force him on his feet and whip him against the corner. That first part of her comeback was pretty successful and the golden-haired man was taken aback by her quickness. However, Yasha had been a little misguided when judging the ability of this impact to fully render Ramza unable to move. It looked like the man had either feigned weakness before or just that his battle instincts took some time to take over, but that had made Yasha overzealous and a little careless.

Just as Yasha was about to seal her comeback by charging against Ramza, the man waited until the last second to raise his leg in a counter attack. Yasha only had time to widen her eyes in realization of her mistake and then take a powerful hit against her chest, which added to her gained momentum took sent her flat on her back with a sharp cry of pain, her chest severely pained now that she was starting to pile up damage. “Aaaagh!!!” This carelessness had cost her great, it seemed.

Yasha hit the mat hard, her back slamming against the canvas with a heavy thud that echoed through the arena. The crowd roared in delight as Ramza's counterattack connected perfectly, sending her sprawling. It was unexpected but a welcome surprise to the audience. They already thought the man had no surprises to give after that but it seems they are wrong.

"Gotcha!" Ramza called out, a satisfied smirk on his face.

Knowing she'd probably try to turn this around somehow, he need to act quickly. Sure enough, even laying flat on her back, Yasha showed no signs of staying down long.

Kicking off the ring corner, Ramza rushed towards the fallen woman and struck. With a leap, he outstretched his right leg, aiming to drop the limb on top of her lungs in Leg drop to keep her pinned under pressure.

Now that Ramza had finally started fighting back Yasha didn’t have many qualms with having him enjoy his time under the spotlight. After all a wrestling match was only as good as the sum of the two contestants’ strength and this would only make the redhead’s comeback and eventual victory even better. Moreso, and to be honest, even if she wanted to Yasha wasn’t coming back from the big hit she had just taken soon. She writhed on the mat while her chest burnt with pain. Ramza, however, was fresher now and on a roll. The crowd was reacting positively at the development of the match, too.

Ramza stood closer to the pained demoness and feeling lucky he took flight and went for a legdrop. As much as Yasha wanted to give him a taste of his medicine by rolling out of the way the very last second, she wasn’t capable of mustering the strength to move yet, so she took the blunt of Ramza’s leg weight against her, which got her squirming and coughing as she gasped for air when she was hit right at the chest.
