Reagan was utterly DOMINATING Akemi, putting on a display of high-speed violence and physicality as the short young woman blitzed her foe over and over, seemingly unable to slow down as she just kept pushing and pushing, wanting to outpace her more experienced opponent with a volley of blows that she wouldn't have the time to recover from. Following that Body Splash, Reagan managed to NAIL Akemi right across the neck and jaw with her Lariat, her arm crashing against Akemi's jaw, sending her careening to the canvas with a stiff -THUD- but now, the action in the ring remained silent, blanketed by the roaring approval of the crowd as Reagan took a second to catch her breath before sliding in close and attempting to hook Akemi's leg, mounting atop her body before an arm slid around one of her thighs, the back of her knee cupped in Reagan's hand as the referee made the count-!!!
"1...!!!"
"2...!!!"

“...TWO—!!”
At the very last instant, Akemi’s body jerked.
Her shoulder barely lifted off the mat, the kickout weak but undeniable...
Akemi rolled slightly onto her side afterward, coughing hard as one arm instinctively wrapped around her ribs and chest. Her breathing was ragged now, every inhale visibly painful after the relentless barrage she’d endured.
The lariat had clearly rocked her badly.
Her eyes were unfocused for a moment.
Her reactions slower than before.
Even though she survived the pin… Akemi was still down on the canvas and dangerously vulnerable, with Reagan still looming over her and momentum fully in the younger woman’s favor.

A kick out...but it didn't deter Reagan. She still felt confident enough to finish Akemi off. If one thing didn't work, move on to the next immediately. For a woman like Akemi, Reagan couldn't afford to let her breathe or mount a counter-offensive. A veteran like her was dangerous when given any sort of leeway, and Reagan already learned what Akemi was capable of early on. She'd be damned if she allowed the older Japanese woman to mount that miraculous comeback.
With that in mind, Reagan grabbed Akemi by the hair, dragging her to her feet in an effort to muscle her up for a quick Gourdbuster, which she'd follow with an immediate Crossface. At this point, Reagan was trying to wear the veteran down and force her into a deeper state of submission. Even if she couldn't make Akemi tap out, she'd sure as hell wear that body of hers down, rendering her incapable of kicking out in the future. Of course, all this exertion means that Reagan would be running out of adrenaline soon, so she had to try and finish her older opponent off before then. The clock was ticking, and all eyes were on the pair of hard-hitting women locked deep into a gritty clash right there in the center of the ring!!!

Akemi barely had a moment to recover before Reagan hauled her upward by the hair, the veteran still visibly dazed from the lariat. Her legs betrayed her balance for a split second—more than enough time for Reagan to capitalize.
With a sharp lift and drop—
THUD!!
Akemi’s stomach and chest bounced from the Gourdbuster, a strained gasp ripping from her lips before she collapsed forward onto the canvas. But Reagan didn’t stop there. In one swift motion, she trapped Akemi into a tight Crossface, wrenching her head and neck backward while cranking hard on the hold.
"AAAHHHHHNNNN--!"
A rare cry of pain escaped Akemi as the pressure surged through her shoulders and spine. Her fingers clawed desperately at Reagan’s grip, boots scraping against the mat as she tried to alleviate the torque twisting her neck.
The veteran’s composure was cracking now.
Her face tightened in agony.
Breathing uneven.
Body trembling under the strain.
Still… she refused to tap.
Akemi grit her teeth hard enough for the muscles in her jaw to twitch, fighting through the pain inch by inch as she searched blindly for any form of escape while Reagan continued grinding her down in the center of the ring!

Reagan was grinding Akemi all the way down, trying her best to put the woman away for what felt like ages as she just kept kicking and fighting. Despite being able to tell that Akemi was slowing down, as evidenced by the more guttural reactions to the painful damage she was enduring, the dark-haired Japanese woman wasn't giving her younger adversary a single inch. Though her body might tense and strain and her voice might shake and quiver, the veteran grappler was not one to give in so easily, having more than enough wherewithal within her to keep fighting, much to Reagan's chagrin and, admittedly, admiration. Of course, for all her efforts, Akemi WOULD indeed find a way out, getting close enough to the ropes to reach out and grab them if she still had the strength while Reagan continued to exert herself as much as possible to make the woman give in before she could force a break.

The veterans vision blurred as the Crossface threatened to wrench her apart. Every breath burned, every movement felt heavier than the last. Even so, she refused to surrender.
With one final surge of determination, she inched herself forward...then reached out with trembling fingers.
...GRAB!
Her hand wrapped around the bottom rope.
The referee immediately called for the break, forcing Reagan to release the hold. Akemi slumped onto her side, coughing as she cradled her shoulder and neck, her chest rising and falling in ragged breaths.
She had escaped...but only just.
The veteran had burned through nearly everything she had left, leaving her looking like she was running on nothing but instinct and sheer will.

Akemi managed to free herself, narrowly escaping the realm of unconsciousness as her hand snagged onto the rope. That instinct and in-ring sharpness honed from a long age spent in the squared circle was serving her well, but with nothing but embers fueling her by this point, she had to question whether or not she could continue at this pace. Reagan was beginning to look a little tired herself, but that youthful vitality proved to be a little more effective as a motivator, pushing through the exhaustion to stand over Akemi, ready for another assault while the weary Japanese woman was slumped over on her side.
Reagan dragged her by her jet-black hair, bringing her back up to her feet, threatening to throw her across the wayside with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex as she latched onto the older woman's waist, arms coiling around her frame as the young brunette aimed to throw the veteran woman back over into the center of the ring if she wasn't stopped.

Akemi suddenly came alive as Reagan tightened her grip, snapping a sharp elbow into the younger woman's face before she could complete the Belly-to-Belly!
Breaking free, Akemi stepped in and cracked Reagan beneath the jaw with a European Uppercut, forcing some separation but not putting her down.
With what little energy remained, Akemi immediately spun around, using the momentum to swing a Spinning Forearm Strike toward Reagan's head!
