The blur of motion was all Kaelara had time to register. She tried to shift her weight, to maybe roll to the side or throw an arm up, but the previous dropkick had rattled her cage enough that her reflexes were lagging behind her instincts. Before she could execute any meaningful defense, the shadow of the Black Swan eclipsed the arena lights.
THUD!
Swan's back slammed across Kaelara's torso with the weight and momentum of a falling anvil. The impact forced a sharp, silent cry from Kaelara's lips as what little air she had managed to recover was instantly expelled. Her body convulsed under the sudden, crushing pressure, her back flattening against the canvas with a heavy slap.
"Oof!" Kaelara wheezed, her eyes widening behind the haze of pain. She found herself effectively pinned, Swan sitting comfortably on her chest, the luchadora's weight pressing down on her ribs. Instinctively, Kaelara's hands shot up to Swan's hips, trying to shove her off.
"Heavy... for a bird..." Kaelara managed to gasp out, a strained, breathless smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. She kicked her legs against the mat, trying to bridge her hips and dislodge the dominant Swan.
