Ami tried to keep a tight hold over Minami, wanting to keep her under control for as long as possible to wear her core down before transitioning into another move. However, the Venus of Submissions was a step faster than her plucky, petite adversary. With a helluva grudge to serve as motivation for the dark-haired woman, Minami would stomp down on Ami's foot, causing the brunette to falter for a moment as she reacted with a sharp yelp. At this moment, her grip loosened, providing the venomous and treacherous Minami with enough room to strike her younger foe upside the head with a stiff elbow shot, cracking Ami upside the temple and forcing her into a backward stumble. "UGH-!!!" Ami shouted, staggering away from the Japanese woman until her back hit the cage wall, her vision beginning to blur a little as she instinctively put her hands up to defend herself.

Finally Minami had managed to get free of Ami's damned clutches, forcing the brunette off of her and stumbling back into the cage wall, looking dazed and unsure her, arms already rising up as a early chance of defense for herself. Unfortunately for Ami it was defense set up too early and Minami was intent on punishing the girl for her reckless decision. Rushing towards her Minami would build as much momentum as possible as she reared her leg backwards before throwing it up as she approached to deliver a massive knee strike straight into Ami's gut to try and knock the wind out of her!

"OUGH-!!!" Ami grunted, her eyes going a little cross as her cheeks puffed up, a big gasp of air being forced out of her petite body as the older fighter SLAMMED her knee into her abdomen, nearly forcing the brunette to double over and drop to her knee as Minami narrowly missed her solar plexus. Ami fell forward into a clinch, face pressed against Minami's body as she leaned on her, arms wrapped tightly around her to try and limit what she could do, but she was definitely in a rough position as she tried to buy herself a little more time.

Landing a devastating blow into Ami's gut it was clear to Minami that the brunette was winded as she lurched forward and fell into Minami's body for a clinch. Grunting as she took Ami head on Minami would be prepared this time. Reaching forward to grab hold of Ami's arm she would try and pull the limb back,twisting it with both hands and, if successful with this then Minami would tangle her leg around Ami's own, trying to fall backwards with Ami in tow, right into the dreaded kimura lock to put the girl's arm through the wringer!

Ami was trapped between a rock and a hard place, with Minami giving her no room for rest as the older woman snatched her by the arm, tangling their legs together, and dropping to the canvas in one fell swoop as she began proving why her namesake was 'The Venus of Submissions'. Off the bat, Ami felt a huge wave of pressure and tension forming in her arm from the tightness of the Kimura Lock, her youthful vigor and trained flexibility being put to the test as she kicked about and screamed softly. Her mouth hung open while she whined in pain, trying desperately to keep a cool head about her. Being in a cage under MMA rules, there was no chance at a rope break, but with a little time left on the clock, she had no choice but to endure. She scrambled as much as possible, having to exert herself however she could to minimize the leverage Minami had over her before it was too late!
