In a single, smoothe motion, Kyo grabbed for Mary's arm and locked it between his legs, twisting at it in a painful armbar. Typically, he was used to using the armbar on opponents who were the same size as or larger than him, but that made it no less effective on an opponent of Mary's size. And sure enough, the bluenette was soon crying out in pain, squirming and twisting to free herself.

Squirming and twisting, he noted, surprisingly effectively, as he began to feel his grip on Mary's arm slipping. Cursing, and realizing that Mary was going to free herself one way or another, Kyo unwound his legs from around Mary's arm and rolled up to his feet, still trying to hold onto Mary's wrist as he did so.

The moment they were both standing, Kyo would try to slide one leg around one of Mary's, tucking her arm under his as he tried to bend her sideways in an abdominal stretch!

Mary managed to slowly squirm her way out of an armbar that would had surely done more damage to her arm, an arm that she needed for her submissions and to eventually put Kyo away before she got put away herself.

Though she could not force the grip to fully loosen as Kyo still held on to her wrist, no matter what Mary could not force Kyo to let go.

“AAAAGH!” Mary screamed as she was put in a very painful abdominal stretch, trapped in the center of the ring.

With no where to go, Mary knew she had to do something, so she attempted to hip toss Kyo, and force him off her.

Kyo held his breath as he managed to ensnare Mary's arm under his armpit, at the same time sliding one of his legs around one of her own. With the British girl neatly trapped, Kyo wasted no time in bending the bluenette sideways, testing her flexibility to her limits. Sure enough, Mary was soon screaming in pain, her blue-clad form arched to the side as Kyo locked the hold in tightly.

There was no way that Mary was going to simply power out of this one, and Kyo had her limbs trapped quite neatly, so she wasn't simply going to be able to throw an elbow at him to make him break. That, Kyo knew, left only one route for Mary to escape: a hip toss. The question was, would she be able to muster the strength to pull off this move?

His answer came soon enough, as Mary suddenly shifted her weight, using Kyo's forward lean against him, throwing him off of her! The audience erupted into cheers at Mary's escape, as Kyo was dropped butt-first onto the mat! Wincing from the impact, Kyo nonetheless tried to roll up to his feet, trying to turn and rush at her with a clothesline as she stood, though he was conscious that his back was turned to Mary for a few vital seconds that she could counter attack or set up a move...

Mary somehow managed to put some strength into her body and used Kyo’s weight advantage against him, doing that to successfully hip toss him right on his rear end. Mary had to take a few steps back, as she held her knees and take a breather. And also time to think about her next move.

She could tell that Kyo would come soon right back at her, and that was provbing when she felt the mat rumble and Kyo coming her way, and she knew exactly what she needed to do.

Mary would quickly dive towards Kyo’s legs, looking to dodge the clothesline, and chop block Kyo right underneath him.

Kyo had to admit, he was impressed by Mary's sheer stamina at that point as she was able to flip him over her, sending him tumbling onto his butt. That, he knew, couldn't have been easy, given how painful that abdominal stretch had clearly been for her.Keep focusing on her legs and midsection, he mentally thought to himself.

Without wasting time, her turned and lunged at Mary...only for the agile Bluenette to drop low, swiping at his legs. "Nani...?!!!" he gasped, before he went crashing onto his front, momentarily stunned.

Mary knew she could not wait for Kyo to recover, she knew she needed to keep going and attack Kyo’s leg cut off the amount of height and wingspan advantage he had compared to Mary.

The chop block ended up knocking Kyo right on his chest and with Mary right behind him. With the chop block perfectly executed, Mary now had a perfect target on her opponent.

Mary slowly got up to her feet and walked to where Kyo was and attempted to grab Kyo’s leg, before attempting to wrap her legs around Kyo’s ankle.

She was going for an achilles lock on Kyo.

Not for the first time in this match, Kyo had been sent sprawling onto the mat by his lighter opponent as she expertly used his own size and momentum against him. Huffing, he was about to push himself back up to his hands and knees when his boot was grabbed: the next thing he knew, Mary's legs were intertwined painfully around his own as Mary trapped him in an. Achilles lock!

"Aummh--!" Kyo gasped as sharp pain lanced up his trapped leg. Clenching his teeth as he tried to bite back a scream, he pressed his elbow onto the mat, hoping to push the two of them over onto their sides. From there, Kyo would try to lean forward and slam a few repeated punches against Mary's thigh, though at this angle, even he was not sure if that would have the desired effect of making the British girl break the hold. All the while, the sharp pain in his trapped leg steadily got worse...

Mary had the achilles lock held on tight, and she knew she needed to keep it on as long as she can. Even as Kyo attempted to punch her in the side of her leg, Mary kept the hold on tight, twisting Kyo’s leg in an uncomfortable manner.

Mary herself was not that durable, but luckily Kyo was not hitting her that hard as she tightened the hold, hoping to force the first submission and take the lead in the match over her much larger male opponent.

Kyo slammed his fist against Mary's thigh again and again, trying to force her to break the hold. Unfortunately, due to the angle, Kyo's punches weren't delivered with the force he needed, and Mary responded by tightening the grip on his leg, causing white hot agony to rip up his tendons.

"HNNNNNG!" His teeth were gritted as.he tried to hold on. He twisted sharply, trying to crawl towards the ropes. Mary simply responded by torquing the hold on his leg even tighter. They were a good crawl away from the ropes; Kyo could make it there, but Mary would have inflicted heavy damage on his leg by the time he got there. Damage that could impact his mobility for the rest of the match.

He managed to make two crawls there before he realized he was just going to damage himself further. Reluctantly, he slapped at the mat, signaling his submission.

Mary was yanking on Kyo’s achille tendon, hoping to cause a lot of pain and force her male opponent into submission, no matter how many punches she took, the bluenette was not letting go of the excruciating submission hold she had locked in.

Eventually she heard slaps on the mat and the referee started looking at Mary, giving her the signal that she got the submission and had been awarded the first point of the match.

Mary smiled, genuinely feeling like she accomplished a feat, forcing an opponent into submission so soon. She eventually let go of Kyo before backing away to a corner of the ring and pulling herself up to her feet.

Mary then waited for Kyo to get back up and the referee to signal to her that the second fall was about to begin.
