Inevitably, something had to give, and unfortunately for Akari, it had to be her as she broke the smother attempt in order to focus on prying Chika's legs apart, freeing herself from the tight lock her abdomen was trapped in. Once free, Akari would move away, creating some space between herself and her pink-haired foe, allowing both women to catch their breaths after smothering and squeezing each other. The engagement thus far had been relatively even, and although Chika wasn't the superior wrestler, she was making great strides to keep pace with Akari, much to the Sea Turtle's enjoyment. Matches like this were fun and lighthearted, with just an ample amount of competitiveness added to them. It gave Akari something to work for but also something to enjoy. So, when she and Chika got back to their feet, she'd give her opponent a respectful nod as a way of saying 'good job' while they reset and prepared to engage once more.
