L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Rose smiled and blushed as Chie nudged her shoulder. "Honestly I'm just glad I could spend time with you anywhere Chie" Rose replied as they reached the restaurant to find open seating. "Yeah that's great, just more privacy for us I guess" Rose said as the two took there seats. Rose slid hers a bit closer to Chie so she could rest her head on her shoulder if Chie was alright with that, Rose would be more than understanding if she wasn't but she really just wanted to be as close to Chie as she could as they waited to be waited on.

As the two entered, they would be met by a quaint, cozy-looking establishment. This ramen bar was one of those 'hole-in-the-wall' type places. It was a rare gem hidden in the numerous streets and alleyways of Japan, tucked between larger-than-life retail stores and finer dining experiences. But something was charming about this place. It had this appeal that made it stand out. It wasn't better than any high-class, fancy eatery or nearby chain establishment, but it was still unique...fresh...and interesting!!! It almost had this underdog feel. Given its mom-and-pop vibe and homely feel, it certainly stood out from the manufactured ambiance and atmosphere of other places nearby.

"What a cozy little place. It feels like home during the winter, preparing to eat a lovely meal with my family. I doubt this could get better-..." Chie said, smiling softly as they took their seats before Rose slid closer and leaned against her, causing the woman to feel a bit of shock as her eyes temporarily widened, glancing at Rose for a second before her cheeks reddened. "Scratch that-...It just got better." She said. After a few moments of patience, the current chef on shift would greet the two and pass them menus. The chef was a stout, hard-working, earnest man still passionately working at a place he likely built for himself. There was no doubt that the two companions would be receiving the BEST quality food tonight, given the man's prideful look. He looked to be in his element, functioning almost perfectly.

Rose giggled as Chie claimed it got even better as she leaned against her. "You are right though this is really cozy" Rose said agreeing with Chie's previous statement before the Chef greeted them with some menus. "Thank you" Rose said sitting up straight and looking at the small menu. "Hmmmm I think I'll have the Beef Shoyu" Rose ordered with a smile before going back to resting her head on Chie's shoulder just wanting to be as close as possible to the woman, to Rose it just felt right, it felt comforting, it just felt good. "So what was it like taking care for shrines?" Rose asked trying to show Chie she was really interested in her and what she had said earlier.

"I'll have the same, please." Chie ordered alongside Rose, smiling as well, especially when the pink-haired woman set her head back upon her shoulder. Something about that sensation felt appealing to Chie. It was nice. It felt...rewarding. She liked being able to support Rose like this. When the Italian-American woman asked about her time as a shrine attendant, she perked up. "Well, I'm so glad you asked." She replied, exclaiming with a hint of enthusiasm in her tone. "It was mainly sweeping, cleaning, and ensuring the shrine was well-taken care of. From the statues to the offerings...down to the decor. Additionally, as I got older, I was tasked with helping with the various rituals and ceremonies. From sacred dances to spiritual cleansing, if it applied, I did it."

Rose's ears perked up hearing some enthusiasm in Chie's voice before the woman answered her question. Rose smiled and listened carefully to every word Chie said wanting to know as much as she could about her hearing her early life was a bit like hers in terms of responsibilities. "Funny enough sounds a lot like my parents store, the cleaning part at least" Rose said nuzzling Chie's shoulder a bit as they waited for there food.

"I was going to ask-...what was it like living in Long Island, working with your family between two different stores? As a foreigner, we always hear tales and stories about America...outside of the usual world news, of course.." Chie asked, taking a sip of the ice-cold water the old chef had dropped by for them. She wanted to hydrate a little and save the alcohol for when the food arrived, which was still sizzling and cooking on the grill just a short distance away from behind the countertop.

Rose smiled as Chie showed similar interest in her. "Well, I primarily worked at just the one show but I did work at the other one when I was needed like if it was busy or if someone needed a day off I'd come in an cover for them. But I mostly cleaned and stocked shelves five to six days a week" Rose replied. "Other than that I was mostly working out or going for works whenever I could, I kind of wish I had more time to learn and get better at wrestling outside of work though" Rose confessed. "But I suppose getting my ass kicked was a good thing considering it let me hang out with you some more" Rose joked before glancing there food on the grill her mouth watering.

"Seems like a lot to handle...You must be quite the reliable daughter." Chie responded, grinning. Her ears and eyes perked up a little at the end of Rose's sentence, causing her face to redden just a tad more. She sheepishly responds as she brushes some of her hair out of her face. "Well, I wouldn't say that you got your ass kicked-...You've got a talent for this. I experienced it first-hand. If you're ever in need of a training partner or a teacher, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help you learn a thing or two. I may not be an official coach or trainer, but I've got my fair share of experience in the ring...and-...any excuse to be with you again is a welcome one." She offered.

Rose listened to Chie's offer to show her a few things but also how the woman seemed to think Rose had skill. Rose smiled and blushed a bit. "I would love that Chie. I really do want to spend as much time as I can with you" Rose replied before giving Chie a quick kiss on the neck. The pink haired woman really couldn't help herself she just wanted to be as close to Chie as possible. Rose then saw the chef coming with there food, the pink haired woman sat up straight practically licking her lips at the sight of the food placed in front of them. "Thank you so much" Rose said before she took a bite. "Mmmm its really good"

The kiss on the neck made the white-haired woman shiver with delight. Chie smiled in response, raising a hand toward Rose's head and softly caressing it, looking happily into her eyes. "Ah-...I don't deserve any praise. I simply spoke the truth and made a small offer..." She said humbly, slightly shifting her leg over so that her thigh was touching Rose's, the two practically sitting side by side. The food arrives, and the pair marvel at their bowls. The meal looked exquisite...the incredible mixture of shoyu broth, noodles, beef, and other additions would leave their senses in awe as the appetizing meal in front of them looked divine and smelled extravagant. The delicious scent wafts up to their noses. Both women would be taken aback in shock and amazement by the level of quality...This place was truly a diamond in the rough in terms of dining opportunities. This meal was crafted with intense passion and vigor honed from years of experience. It was sure to be the best damn thing the two would have tasted in a long time.
