The blue-haired rookie lay on the ground, her body and backside coursing with agony after taking two slams back-to-back at the hands of her ruthless opponent. The longer she lasted, the more brutal and aggressive Kaina got. What possessed the older woman to commit such acts of sheer violence against her young talent? What caused her to look at Aoi and tell her to give up? Someone who had their whole future ahead of them, taking them and their hopes and stomping them out like a weed in a garden. To make things worse, the woman had the AUDACITY to criticize Aoi's form...Aoi despised that, and she DESPISED Kaina. She would prove the woman wrong, get back up, keep fighting, and BEAT HER...She pressed her hands to the canvas, that fire in her eyes blazing brighter. She began to get up, the audience cheering her valiant efforts, hoping to see some miraculous comeback from the rising star...But then-...

-BAM-

Out of nowhere, a sudden spike of pain shot through the woman's head, like a sniper round piercing one's skull clean through. Everything went white before going black, only returning after what felt like an eternity of sleep as Aoi awoke on the ground, having briefly lost consciousness after such a direct blow. Aoi's head felt like it was suffering two...no THREE simultaneous headaches. The pain felt so staggering, and it was unbearable to an extent. Still, Aoi had to find the courage to keep her head in the game. She absolutely COULD NOT afford to give up. Not here. Not now...The young girl had something to prove tonight, something that meant more to her than Kaina could EVER imagine...She wouldn't allow Kaina to tell her what to do. All she needed was a plan of sorts...However, something like that would be far easier said than done. Aoi's body was slowly quitting on her. She felt so exhausted and weak. After taking such a brutal boot straight to the head, she felt like her mind was being split, shaken, and shattered into pieces like glassware.

Considering Aoi still and proudly wore her status as a rookie. It was possible that Kaina may have done a bit too much in regards to getting out of the armbar. Surely she could’ve gotten out in a much less “devastating” manner. Still the results were inarguable, Kaina got out of the hold and Aoi was left worse for wear. Now the best Kaina wanted was for Aoi to realize she’s out of her depth and tap out or something. This entire time something unexplainable to Kaina was driving Aoi. Time and time again, Aoi would be getting knocked down. Each time worst that the last, just for the rookie to get back up and simply refuse to lose. It pissed Kaina off watching this girl being oh so defiant. What caused her to look at Kaina with such determination? Someone who has lived a life Aoi was looking forward. Good, competitive, moral and justice for all… All of that was a sham. It pissed Kaina off looking at this rookie who was willingly walking this path she knows all to well. Not that she would ever admit it. So it was up to Kaina to stifle this rookie here and now.

Then came the boot to the face, Kaina’s boot made a resounding thud on Aoi’s face. Completely flooring the girl, stopping her from getting up. The crowd was just in shock at the display. It was obvious that they were on Aoi’s side, but it was hard to cheer for her in this moment. Anyone would look like a villain next to Aoi. Following the shock then came the boos. Kaina was all to used to being seen as the villain. Ah there it is, didn’t take very long. Kaina said with a sigh. Looking down at Aoi, Kaina grabbed Aoi’s hair and forcefully picked the girl up. Kaina would bend down so that they could have a face to face. You see kid, there wasn’t a version of this match that you win. Do yourself a favor and give up, that is if you can still hear me.

The young girl was down...beaten, battered, bruised...left in a heap against the canvas as she lay still. If you expected her to be unconscious after all that, no one could blame you for making the assumption. Still, through some miracle, Aoi managed to cling to her consciousness, remaining awake, driven by the passion in her heart and the pain coursing through her body to remain steadfast. However, in the face of this crushing ocean of adversity, she looked as if she was beginning to waver in her efforts. As Kaina held her head up by her ragged hair, the young rookie seemed defeated as Kaina spoke to her, soon responding in a staggered manner. "...I-...I-" Aoi seemed like she was budging...After all this, was she REALLY going to give up? Maybe that kick to the head from Kaina set her straight. She was at her limit. What more could she do against Kaina? There was absolutely no hope for her in this situation...the crowd seemed defeated, distressed, and heartbroken at this gut-wrenching sight. No one wanted Aoi to give in, but it seemed impossible. However, only when light is facing the darkest opposition can it truly shine at its brightest...Aoi gripped Kaina's wrist and glared at her with that fire still blazing in her glossy eyes. "I will NEVER give up!!!" She said, tightening her free fist and letting it fly straight toward Kaina's chin, aiming to sock her upside the jaw with the hardest hook she could muster as she pushed forward against Kaina.

Kaina had hardly been trying in this match. Yet even with that, Aoi was left beaten, battered, hurt and that was only the visible issues. Who knows what sort of internal damage Kaina had done to Aoi in this match. In all honesty, Kaina thought this match should’ve been over minute one. The moment Aoi tried to grapple with her, just to get tossed. Still for some fucking reason, Aoi refused to give up. This was just some normal apex match, not a title or career match. Aoi was treating this as if her life was on the line. (Is this how rookies operate these days? Burn so bright they don’t realize they fizzle out faster?) Kaina thought as she held Aoi by her hair. Telling her opponent there was absolutely no chance of her winning. Things would be much simpler if Aoi would just submit here and now.

If only things were that easy.

Kaina would hear Aoi stammer on her I, so she assumed that finally the rookie found some sense and would give up. Just for Aoi to grip on Kaina’s wrist, not to tap out on it or something. Aoi’s eyes still had life in them, as if some fire would never be stuffed out. A powerful proclamation of her never giving up, Kaina sighed as she looked down in disappointment. Which may have helped Aoi, as the following uppercut completely snapped Kaina’s head upwards. Forcing the older woman to stand up and take a step back. You fucking… Kaina said stopping a moment to spit out some blood from her mouth. You have that much left and you chose this!?! What are you some fucking idiot that doesn’t care about themselves?!? Kaina said angrily, following this Kaina would let Aoi speak. Not that her response mattered as anything would set of Kaina. So much so the former sharpshooter would send a shattering kick towards Aoi’s face. This time not holding back what so ever.

Aoi's punch had landed true, all her knuckles flying toward Kaina's face, embedded into her jaw upon impact. The young, up-and-coming rookie continued to defy her pessimistic opponent's demands. Aoi was fighting off pure instinct, using every ounce of strength and wherewithal she had to continue this fight, socking Kaina upside the head with her fist!!! She could see the look of pure anger on the ex-sharpshooter's face, that insatiable rage burning holes into the figure of the exhausted but ever-determined rookie. Aoi spots the incoming kick, NARROWLY managing to avoid it. Had Kaina not been slightly rocked by that punch, her aim might've been dead-on. Whatever the cause, the young woman had a miracle to thank some deity up above for as she moved out of harm's way...but Aoi wasn't running away...no, no, no-...She swerved around Kaina while she was still kicking, scooping one arm between the woman's legs and hitting her with a surprise Roll-Up, tilting her over and folding her in half, pinning her shoulders to the mat and putting all her weight onto Kaina's legs to hold the woman down!!!

Kaina was so sure that this would be the time that Aoi would call it quits. Hell the girl was just not that far from getting a serious injury. Anyone else would’ve just tapped out realizing their mistake. Not Aoi though, the rookie was willing to die on her cross. Nailing Kaina right in the face with an uppercut, this was something that only made Kaina angrier. Sure the uppercut had the some power behind it, but hardly enough to knock Kaina out. This was enough to make Kaina put Aoi out of her misery, trying to kick her head off. This had to be the final shot to put Aoi away and hopefully for good.

At least thats what everyone thought but Aoi. She narrowly dodged the kick that spelled her doom. The nature of kicks were always high risk, so Kaina wouldn’t be able to stop whatever was coming next from Aoi. Aoi could’ve used this chance to run away to recover, run away from the match or maybe try to hit a finisher on Kaina. No none of that Aoi was looking to win the match here and now, swerving around Kaina and scooping her arm in between her legs and catching Kaina in a surprise roll up! Aoi put her entire body weight all over Kaina to keep the pin in.

Kaina erupted as she punched Aoi right in the temple, at the same time she would kick out of the roll up at 2.9. Aoi was so close to victory, just a fraction of a second later and it would’ve been a complete upset. Now out of the roll up, Kaina rolled backwards and picked herself up. Fixing her hair, Kaina was the embodiment of anger right now. How many times… Kaina said in a low angry voice HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES DO WE HAVE TO KEEP GOING THROUGH THIS Kaina at this point has had enough of Aoi’s determination and was going to do anything to snuff it out. First, Kaina would punt kick the rookie in the stomach to keep her down. Afterwards she would grab Aoi by her head and nail her in the face with her knee.

The promising and defiant rookie sprung forward after narrowly dodging a kick that would've taken her head off, snatching her vitriolic opponent's leg. Aoi had rolled up the woman, pinning Kaina's shoulders to the mat, folding her legs over her body, and putting all her weight across to keep her down!!! She was so close to snatching victory away from Kaina after enduring such a hellacious, brutal beating...but it wouldn't be enough...At the last second, Kaina realized her current position, immediately struggling to escape her predicament before it was too late. Just before the referee's hand slammed to the canvas for what would have been the third and final time, Kaina erupted with a loud yell, screaming at Aoi while delivering a savage punch right to the young woman's temple, causing her to stagger long enough for the woman's kick out attempt to toss her off with ease. Aoi was flung to the wayside, rolling over to the ropes, disoriented after taking such a hit.

She tried to recover as fast as possible, reaching out to grab the ropes to help her stand up again, but her cruel, purple-haired adversary wouldn't spare her any mercy. Kaina walked over to Aoi and delivered the most vicious Punt Kick straight to the rookie's abdomen, drilling her foot into her ribs and stomach, forcing a large glob of saliva to spew from the girl's mouth as she released a miserable cry of anguish, screaming at the top of her lungs as the pain overwhelmed her senses. She clutched her midsection, writhing about in agony as she whined, tears forming in the corners of her eyes before Kaina pulled her up by her head and hair before kneeing her directly in the face, slamming her leg into the woman's nose and silencing her for good...a tragic scene as Aoi falls back, nose slightly bloodied, body beaten, attire ragged and beginning to tear...defeated and humiliated despite her best efforts...conscious, but hanging on by a mere thread. Kaina could very easily end this fight...or rather, beating...here and now...but in her current state of rage, would she?

Okay this entire thing has gotten old already. Kaina came into this match with very little patience for her opponent. Even going far as to garner some respect from Aoi and some of her moves. But time and time again, Kaina would flatten Aoi with a move that could’ve ended the match. Just for the rookie to keep standing up and trying to fight. As if she had something to prove, if so what was it? That Aoi is willing to die on the sword?!? Go out swinging?!? All of those ideas are bullshit, Kaina can attest to that personally. So after nearly choking the girl out, nearly kicking her head off, nearly suplexing her into the next town over. Aoi refused to give up. Looking at her eyes in this whole match pissed Kaina off. Why was that? What did Kaina see in Aoi’s eyes that enraged her so much.
(Don’t need those fucking memories coming back) Now holding onto Aoi’s head after kneeing her in the face.

Shaking the thoughts out of her head, Kaina would take a good look at Aoi. The girl was barely conscious, beat to a pulp and her attire was starting to give. Now would be the best time to show some mercy and pin the girl. But what fucking lesson would that teach Aoi, she’d just get starry eyed and try this dumb stunt again. After all of that, no way that knee to the face was it. Say it again. Something about not giving up, something about beating me Kaina knew that her questions would fall on deaf ears. Regardless if there was a response, Kaina would act like she heard nothing. Shoving Aoi to the nearby ropes and positioning her body past the ropes and bringing it back. You need to be awake for this fucking lesson kid Kaina said as she latched onto Aoi’s throat, hoping to force the rookie back into consciousness with the Clutch Bar!

At this point, the referee should've stopped the match...Things should've ended here, but Kaina wasn't having it...For whatever reason, Kaina was NOT a fan of Aoi's attitude. She didn't just want to demoralize the girl and send her away. She was out to BREAK her...both physically and mentally. Aoi's spirit was about to be crushed and ripped to shreds. Kaina wanted to teach the girl a severe lesson...one she couldn't teach if Aoi were asleep. Luckily for Kaina, she knew the perfect wake-up call to give the previously bright-eyed rookie. After battering her in the face with a devastating knee strike, Kaina dragged Aoi over to the ropes, slipping her underneath the bottom rung and dragging her back through with her spine arching around the lowest one. After a second, Aoi's eyes shot wide open as a flood of agonizing pain infiltrated her body, causing her to shout, scream, and cry out due to how torturous Kaina was being with her. Her back ached as she could hear numerous pop-like sounds from her spine with every passing second. She tried her hardest to resist but was too weak to fight back. The world began to go dark, but Kaina wasn't letting up. Tears formed in her eyes, and blood dripped down her nose and lip. Her eyes trembled as her body spasmed, the referee DEMANDING that Kaina release Aoi before she got disqualified.

Great thing about wrestling is that pretty much as life is shown the match goes. It ain’t like boxing or mma where the referee has to look out for people’s health. Kaina was happy she could use this to send a message. If it echoed to the rest of the locker room then thats a cherry on top. Kaina in all her experience was a crafty wrestler. Time on the force made it so you had to use the environment in smart ways. The ring was just filled with possibilities. So using the ropes as an anchor point, Kaina was going to bend Aoi like a pretzel against it. The move was hardly legal, but it did its job in waking up Aoi from her sleep. Though not in the way she would’ve liked, even some people in the audience were uncomfortable with the way Aoi was getting beaten up. Kaina would feel the tears as they rolled down Aoi’s face onto her hands. Yup the kid was awake.

Luckily for Aoi the referee grew some sort of consciousness finally. Demanding Kaina let go before she gets disqualified. Letting out a disappointing sigh Kaina let go of Aoi and let her body crumple back down. Jeez, do you have such a stickler. Fine, its probably better this way. The kids awake anyways. Kaina said as she grabbed onto Aoi’s heel to drag her body towards the center of the ring. Hey kid, this all ends if you submit in literally any way possible. Do yourself at least that favor, or I could just… Kaina trailed off as she hauled Aoi up and spun her around. Placing Aoi’s bent legs on her own as a foundation. One of Kaina’s arms went to bending Aoi as far back as she could. While the other worked to keep the hold on. Keep…this hold until…something pops! Kaina said as she strained Aoi’s body in a even more grotesque way.
