"Sure... Or lapras falling made you hit your head a little too hard." Kate would reply when they started their way up.
"It's not heavier, you are just distracted. I can tell what you are looking at you know... She said getting the plushy up the last few steps and pulling it further to make sure it won't fall this time.

Karin was happy when Kate and her pulled the lapras over the last edge and she would sigh loudly fall forwards. “I kind of wish I didn´t hit the gym this morning so I had more strnegh…” she would make sure to land on the soft shell of lapras and let her arms and legs hang down from the side to recover for a little bit.
“hey need help to carry it to your car and get it inside?” she would look up to kate with a smile on her face, knowing that the saving car would be around the corner… or at least she hoped it was around the corner.

"Excuses..." Kate commented Karin's statement on going to the gym before, looking at Lapras finally being up there and not threatening to fall for once. Then her expression went from pleased to mortified. "I did not bring a car... I had no idea this contest would even take place."

Karin would stare up, looking right into the face of Kate, her mouth gaping open. “and mind if I ask you who you were planning on getting home before it went down the stair and landed on me? I don´t think they will let you take this thing onto the bus or the subway…” Karin couldn´t get her own car… because she didn´t own one, she never had a need to own one and always could rent one if she needed one…
The girl would drop her head down and would mutter. “where do you live? Near here? Maybe we can carry lara there… we might get a few strange looks but that’s the only option I see…”

Kate sighed. "I guess you are my knight in shining armour here" She said, blushing shortly after and looking to the side as she realized it would only work to feed Karin's tendency to flirt. Still, that was true and she was sure thankful that the girl was willing to help her like that. luckily it wasn't all that tragic. "I do live close though, that's why I did not bring the car, and there is an elevator there" She said in a more cheery voice. "And when we get there I simply must treat you to a dinner for all the help you gave."

Karin would just smile super bright and happy when she heard the compliment from the other woman about her being a knight in shinning armour… “that’s a first… thank you!” would Karin say with a honest tone and smile on her face.
She would then slowly stand up and grab the lapras at the rear. “we lift it over our head and then you lead the way I will follow you!” would Karin say with a smile and new found strength, beginning to do a deadlift on the lapras.

Kate was both surprised and relieved that Karin did not decide to pick on her wording and continue the teasing and seeing as she went straight to lift the giant plushy she would also join, grabbing it around the area of the front fins. As they hoisted it up she would chuckle. "I hoped to not get much attention, here goes that... going through the city with a giant Lapras over my head." Then she would start to lead Karin to the building she recently rented an apartment in.

Karin would look at kate confused and in disbelieve. “we got a huge lapara over our head… I don´t think we can stealth our way around without being seen…” Karin said walking after her new friend making sure not to get suck in the doorway.

TIMESKIP: 75 Minutes later
It meanwhile turned dark outside and Karin would feel the burn in her muscles and the exhaustion pull the lapras down even more. She was almost unable to speak and now for about 30 minutes she was unable to hit on Kate thanks to exhaustion. Karin would breathe in deeply before saying with a flat voice. “you said you lived close by… mind if I ask where you live exactly and how much longer… I kind of have the feeling we went in circles already…” Karin would say looking around, she moved to this town when she started law, so she wasn´t too familiar with everything but she was sure they were lost…

Kate would get flustered and let out a couple of sounds that seemed as if they were supposed to continue into a full word but they didn't. "You know, space is relati... Yeah... I might have gotten lost... I moved here like a week ago and I don't know the area yet." She finally said, stopping, if Karin could see her face now she would see the very picture of embarrassment as Kate hoped to find her way before the question was asked.

Karin would stop for a moment and just stare at the back of Kate´s head… “But… why..didn´t you just say that, we could have used our phones or anything… or asked for dirctions…” would Karin stutter for a bit. She would sigh loudly. “its okay… I know it can be hard to admit that you need help…Lets just put it down on the bank over there!” would Karin say before trying to lay the lapras on the bank to make sure it wasn´t laying in the dirt. She would pull her smartphone from her pocket. “so what is your new address? Oh also by the way what is your phonenumber?” Karin would say with a small smirk on her face.
