Troy pushed off, rolled to his feet, and took a ready posture as fast as his legs would allow, knowing that his opponent wouldn’t be giving him much room to breathe. Zira reminded him a lot of Betsy in more than a few ways - that aggressive, that tenacity, the competitiveness. He didn’t know what to expect from Matteo, but just going off their interactions so far, she was going to be the one that gave them the most trouble in this match.
But then, he wouldn’t have to wonder about that much longer, as a tag was made soon after, before he and Zira could lock horns once more. Troy straightened up and rolled his shoulders, taking a quick breather, but he kept his arms out and ready, not knowing what would come his way next. Best be prepared.
He nodded to Mattoe as his opponent prepared to square off. After a few quick bounces on his heel, Troy started circling the ring, making sure to keep his foe at a distance as the two moved, never wanting to get too close, but never staying too far, waiting for his opponent to make the first move. ”Okay, let’s see what you’re working with.”
