L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Alexios sat back and listened. He had expected maybe an offer to join. But to co-own or actually be Hiro’s right hand man[ager] was more than he expected. After a moment of silence, Alexios said, ”Thank you for the offer. I do like your gym. It has great potential, especially with you in charge. I believe I can juggle both training myself and training others. My question is, what role do you see me playing here? Where is your greatest need?”

"Well...it seems to me L.A.W. is more focused on the Female aspect of Pro Wrestling...which is a shame for us since there are no belts for us to try and conquer. So...for the love of this sport I want to get our females in the gym the best training they can receive so they can one day become champions in there own right and with you Alexios...you could teach them all sorts of tricks and be like a mentor such as myself but on the grappling side of things."

Hiro answered Alexios's question.

Alexios pondered again. ”I agree. I wish there was a male belt. Maybe we could make the case for it with our matches. Everywhere else it’s the opposite and the women are undervalued, yet we chose to come here, after all. I came to LAW initially for a low risk exhibition to see if pro wrestling was right for me. Then I met someone and fell for her and decided to stay. What brought you to LAW?”

"Honesty I was looking for what be the next best thing for me...When I broke my leg I thought my fighting career was over...but once I was all healed up I watched some of Wrestling during my rehab and I figured this would be the next best thing for me...I traveled and trained in Mexico to learn a bit of Lucha and now I returned back here to Japan to make my comeback...I thought L.A.W. would have something for me but when I discovered that the male division was bare...I don't know exactly what to do...but then Kenzo, the owner of this gym said that I could make a good trainer...it's safer cause I don't have to worry about my legs being broken again, and that's when Christina came to us and now the rest is history. I know I just rambled on but I guess the short answer is...that I want to compete again because...I love competion and combat sports..."

Hiro sat and chuckled as he had spoken way to long.

”I… saw that about your leg. Sorry you went through that. Glad you bounced back. I wouldn’t have known the way you went in the ring. I’ll be older than the average age for my sport. Helen and I have at most one Olympic game left in us. So we’ve been planning our next moves. Pro wrestling became my passion. Here am I still talking like we’re together,” he laughed nervously. ”Ill I’ll help you train your students. And maybe we can make LAW see the value in having a championship for us as well.” Alexios offered his hand.

"That's great to hear! I look forward in working together with you."

Hiro smiled and got up to his chair and did a polite bow of respect before shaking Alexios hand. Hiro was looking forward to the future of his gym while also looking forward for the future of the Male division. And with that Hiro would accompany his new friend to the gym and help him get familiar of the place.

Alexios had forgotten he was in Japan. He awkwardly bowed back and then followed Hiro to tour the gym.
