As hot as Maria was to recruit Minami, she would be lying if she said there wasn’t a real part of her that was aching for this match, too. While she had seen the Venus of Submissions in action with LAW before, there was world’s difference between observing and experiencing, and she was so eager to do the former. She still needed to test her own skills, see how well she was holding up, and she could think of no better iron to sharpen hers against than Minami.

Everything worked out in the end.

She caught a good look of her future foe’s eyes and her smile widened by an inch. Yes, that was the kind of fire she wanted. ”So glad we could come to an agreement on something.” She reached back and gave Minami a swift slap on the backside, enough to get a loud clap. ”Be sure to get plenty of rest. I want to see the Venus of Submissions at her absolute best.”

Maria snapped her teeth hard, coming close to biting Minami right on the ear, before she pushed off and slammed her face against the table as a parting gift. With that as the perfect exclamation point, she did an about-face and promptly walked out of the dressing room, not even bothering to look back as Zero followed in her shadow.

Forced down against the table and left immobile there was little Minami could do but let Maria have her fun, her fists clenched to the point where her nails threatened to break skin. Minami hated this, this feeling of powerlessness and weakness, but it wouldn't go unanswered. Maria wanted the same thing Minami wanted for once, a match, and as Maria finally backed off and let her go Minami, despite falling in a heap would look up, a fierce glare of silent fury on her face. Right then and there, Minami swore she would have revenge, not just on Maria, but on the woman that worked with her, on Freia Kagami. Minami would be dead set on taking them down once and for all, that she swore.
