Seeing Senji's knee move up and push on her arm, followed by his pushing to free himself, Geun would decide to use the instability provided by his transition to break their engagement. she would release him, pushing at his hip and shoulder to throw him off and get back up to her knees.

"Thanks, though straight grappling is not exactly my style." she replied getting ready to lock back in with the boy.

The answer she got was a lengthy nod. Yet, he hadn't submitted her yet. She'd been good enough to slip him off. Senji sighed and then took a moment to rest for a few seconds. If she didn't let him, so be it. Senji went to get in close, ducking low as to seemingly charge for a takedown centering on her legs. This would be revealed as a farce if she took the bait and sprawled preemptively. He'd mean to slow down before he actually hit Geun, trying to instead shoot higher and press into her back in a reversed position. From what his mental archive told him, he could try something from being pressed against Geun here or take the back. He elected to bide his time to see if there was an opening he could exploit to lock Haru up nice and snug.

Even if striking was allowed, Senji was only semi-confident it'd turn the tables. He could see that bodyshots wouldn't be too advised against her given how hard her abs and chest looked in terms of lithe well-proportioned athleticism. As long as he stick to certain combinations, he was sure he could beat her both here and in a non-grappling match unless the stipulations were far too alien for his tastes. That would provide him with some difficulty.

Geun pretended to wait for him but then with a sudden best of speed she charged in, wrapping her arm around his neck and letting the collision take her down to the mat where she would wrap her legs around him while her other hand moved under his armpit one torso to lock with the other hand, securing the arm and locking in a guillotine.

Senji did succeed in taking her down at least. However, a present worry came in the form of a set of legs wrapping around the waist. The next quick motion came and went - an arm around the throat as to begin the process of another asphyxiation. Senji drove his hands to attack her grip first. This would entail bringing both hands, whether the free arm was on his left or right, to the point where her fingers had locked together. The escape came into play where Senji tried to pry her fingers from supporting each other in the Guillotine and move his head out if he was able to actually make process by targeting her hands.

Senji didn't panic like most people would, being locked in a sudden strangle. While his attempt at unwrapping her fingers would take a moment it lessened the pressure on his neck and eventually worked to get him free. That happening, Geun would attempt to lock in a seatbelt to keep control of his torso.

Senji recalled more advice from his temporary master. Huan had reminded him that distance was important even when on the ground. The closer you were, the higher chance there was of getting put in a submission. Presumably, based on how she was trying to sneak around and grasp him, Garu desired to take back control again. Seeing this, Senji had a move to stop her or pin her to the floor. He proceeded to run his right forearm over her left cheek and press down to exert frontal tension onto her jaw. This would coerce her head to the floor. On the off chance she managed to slip out of that and take his back, Senji tucked his chin to cover the front of windpipe to defend against choke attempts. Of course, if this wasn't the case, Senji would need to compensate regardless.

Trying to slip past his arm was too risky to try, if he reacted already he could bind her and she wanted to play it safe for now. Instead, trying to keep a front control she attempted to place his wrist behind his back, keeping it in place with the opposing hand she tried to keep it pined while her other hand moved to push his elbow back.

Senji found Haru trying a particularly strange maneuver. He pursed his lips, once more unsure of how to go along with the current exchange. He was still in her guard. Perhaps he could tempt Haru to change her approach so then he'd have an easier time defending? Senji put his right foot up and planted it against the floor. After that, Senji aimed to roll off to the left so that she'd be on top of him in a mounted position. Senji then went to continued pushing against her jaw and keep her away from keeping close to him on her terms as opposed to Senji's own. He desired her to let go of the arm around his back as he writhed and twisted to make it difficult for Haru to keep the arm snagged, especially with the one arm she'd dedicated to offense.

With their position flipped, Geun didn't try to continue her attempt at that improvised hold, with Senji on his back, she couldn't extend his limb in any meaningful way. Instead of that, she would allow herself to be pushed, then grab his wrist with both hands and force it against the mat and bend it. After that, she would try to sneak one hand under his bicep to rejoin with the one still keeping his wrist. Then she would lift up keeping his wrist down to perform an americana.

Senji's golden eyes, dull without a great amount of light, found themselves squinting at the daunting act. So she was shooting for arm control again? Senji tried to turn on his side to where he could face the arm she was aiming for. After that, Senji tried to curl up underneath her on the side that was being attacked. However, he couldn't pull both his legs past the small space between her legs. Senji was aware it'd open his back up, but he could likely defend his arm this way. The actual defense came where he'd drive his free arm into the wrist of the hand Geun wanted to join with the forearm currently pinning his wrist down. There, upon grasping it, Senji aimed to interfere by pulling up on it. It'd be far more beneficial if Haru couldn't lock it in at all so he was trying to prevent that entire scenario.
