Breaking the ice- Lex vs Allen!

*As his pendulum of a leg swung downwards, Lex could already taste his fast approaching victory. However, as fate would have it, Allen managed to narrowly avoid making any sort of contact with it whatsoever, causing him to stumble forward and nearly lose his balance entirely.* "W..what the...?" *He thought he had calculated everything perfectly- The amount of energy required to send his adversary tumbling to the canvas, the distance necessary for maximum efficacy, but it was abundantly apparent that Allen was some type of x factor in his meticulously planned assault.*

"Well, I suppose you won't be so boring after all~" *Lex nodded in approval, visibly pleased by how his attempt at finishing Allen had gone awry- If he could find solace in anything, it was that she would be able to keep him entertained for just a little bit longer, and perhaps even show him a thing or two along the way. He decided to take a bit of a respite himself, as both combatants had consumed quite a bit of energy over the last few minutes. However, he couldn't resist the urge to send a haughty gesture Allen's way, sticking his thumb up before subsequently pointing it towards the ground.*

Allen would make sure to keep a safe distance between herself and Lex before getting herself back up onto her feet. When Lex tried to taunt her, she couldn't help but roll her eyes as she placed her hands on her hips before saying, "What are you trying to accomplish with all the posturing? It's pretty tiring, you know?" She rolled her shoulder as she would prepare herself for her next clash with her opponent.

Now that she was on her feet, ready to take Lex on, she would run towards him as if trying to cover the distance between the two of them. But she had one thing in her mind as she planned to run past him, hoping to reach the ropes so that she could make use of them as a springboard to launch herself upwards into the air so that she could try to hit him with a lionsault!

*Hearing the irritation in Allen's voice caused Lex to quizzically tilt his head, snickering a little under his breath before he adopted a typical boxing stance.* "What? A guy's not allowed to get a little boastful? I nearly took you down with a single move- That's something I consider impressive." *He casually shrugged, wondering why she wasn't as astonished at his wrestling prowess as he was. Nonetheless, he couldn't dawdle for long- Allen was back to her feet and seemed pretty rejuvenated, and before long, she proved her worth by catching Lex with a devastating body press!*

"O..oh no..y..you don't!" *While it was quite the valiant effort on Allen's behalf, Lex's raw tenacity and powerful base allowed him to catch the soaring woman midair, balancing her in his grasp before promptly hoisting her above his head, quickly shifting her posture to point her skull towards the canvas!* "Time you learned your place, girlie!" *He smirked as his condescending words left his lips, subsequently driving Allen into the canvas with a crippling pile driver!*

Attempting a lionsault, Allen hoped to hit Lex with her body, but it seemed that she underestimated his reflexes as he managed to catch her body. Her eyes widened when she realized that she was in trouble. "H-hey!!" She let out a cry of protest as she was held upside down by her opponent. Knowing what would come next, Allen would tuck her chin in, looking to lessen the damage that might be dealt from the move that Lex was about to use on her.

She was brought down onto the mat, head first, in a piledriver! Due to her tucking her chin in, she would hit the mat with the back of her skull, but it would still deal quite a tremendous damage that it left her rattled. "UUGHHH!!!" If Lex let her go, she would fall onto the mat, momentarily paralyzed by the move, leaving herself vulnerable before him.

*Thanking himself for having braced for the inevitable impact, Lex had fully capitalized on the opportunity to punish Allen for trying to overwhelm him with her body. After catching and subsequently plowing the girl directly into the canvas, he decided to loom overtop of her for a moment and gloat about how incredibly deft he was, just in case she had forgotten.* "So, on a scale of one to fucking amazing, where would you rate me?" *He rhetorically asked, before nonchalantly clasping the edges of her hair while he stood to his feet, dragging the subdued woman up with him.*

"Well, regardless of what you might think, I'm the zenith of this little wrestling organization, and I'm going to finish this match with a bang~" *After setting Allen up for his brilliant finisher, Lex backpedaled before rolling from side to side. He was generating a frightening amount of momentum before sending a devastating cross in her direction, trying to end the brawl with his signature move, The Genius Smash!*

Allen was seeing stars at the moment thanks to the piledriver earlier, and while she wasn't stranger to such a move, it still hurt quite a lot. As she tried to get her mind back in order, she was then pulled back up onto her feet as Lex brought himself back up, seemingly preparing himself for his next move. "Urghhh..." Groaning, she could barely catch what Lex was saying, and even if she could, she couldn't be bothered to actually listen to him, considering that Lex had proven himself to be a preening peacock.

Even with the throbbing sensation in her head, Allen was still able to see where Lex was as she tried to regain her bearing. Seeing her opponent gaining his momentum, Allen would try to take this opportunity to wait for him as he got closer before she stepped to the side, looking to avoid his attack. Considering that her head was still throbbing from the piledriver earlier, she decided to not attack him as she would try to focus on her recovery. She would make sure to move back, looking to distance herself from him to give herself enough room to recover.

While Allen appeared to be noticeably more groggy than before, especially since she had taken quite the thrashing, courtesy of Lex's brilliant strategizing, she had seemingly baited him into squandering his momentum by narrowly avoiding what could have possibly been a match ender of a right cross! His fist sailed by her, kissing the void where she once stood, which nearly caused him to stumble over his own two feet. Surprisingly enough however, he wasn't deterred by this impromptu maneuver, and immediately switched back into his previous wrestling stance.*

"Impressive, most impressive." *Lex remarked, acknowledging the lighting fast reflexes that Allen possessed. Even he wasn't stubborn enough to refute the brazen level of fleet-footedness she possessed, deciding to maintain a healthy distance from her while he recuperated a sliver of his energy. Unbeknownst to her however, his bold gambit of a punch had devoured a large portion of his expendable stamina, and Lex had only preserved a small chunk of it, forcing him to run on fumes for the time being.*

Allen managed to avoid being hit by the possibly match-ending move from Lex, though her head was still throbbing from the piledriver earlier. Now that she managed to avoid being hit, she would step back, distancing herself from her opponent as she would take this opportunity to recover and regain her bearing.

"Urghhh..." Allen grunted, bringing her hands onto her head as she tried to get her mind back in order. For the time being, she would be put into a defensive position, in which she would not be able to attack until she managed to recover and regain her composure. To make sure that she could see what Lex would throw at her next, she would look at him as she would take a defensive stance.

*Maintaining eye contact with his opponent, Lex seemed to be more committed than ever before in regards to emerging victorious in this skirmish against Allen. She had started to push him further than he had originally anticipated, which wasn't a huge issue initially, but given how cunning and strategic she was, might pose a problem if he allowed it to continue any further. Taking a large step forward, Lex attempted to close the gap between himself and his target, snagging her shoulders to try and pull her into a guillotine chokehold!*

"Now, just hold still and everything will go black soon enough~" *Lex whispered in her ear, trying to throw Allen's concentration off by applying a strangulating choke while simultaneously convincing her to abandon any notion of escape. If nothing else, this submission would steadily drain his foe of a large chunk of vital energy, allowing a huge window of opportunity to open up for his next move. That is, if everything went according to plan.*

Allen's head was still throbbing from the piledriver earlier, and while she was still able to see where her opponent was, she couldn't stop him from snagging her and trapping her into a guillotine chokehold. "HuURKH!!!" She could feel her strength depleting the moment she was trapped in the hold, and she knew that if she remained trapped, she would surely get into a much bigger trouble than losing to him.

So, in desperation, Allen would try to drive her fist into the kidney area of Lex's body, hoping to stun him. Also, because she knew that one attack wouldn't be sufficient, she would try to him him a few times with her punches. She wasn't sure if it could work or not, but at the very least, she needed to try regardless of her reservation.
